i shamelessly gave antpelt like a million little ant patterns and also i colour picked his pelt directly from an actual ant :) and for breezepelt i kinda just liked the contrast of giving him a dark muzzle and tail and his little tufts represent that hes breezy :3 thats just my interpretation of their designs ! hope you enjoy :) theyre very cute and their story is so sad 😭

i think squirrel & leaf deserve to get a little unhealthily codependent with it. they love and adore each other more than anything in the whole world, and they are the only people who will ever know each other truly and completely. but. they are the center to each others universe. everything they do, they do it for each other. leafpool is not leafpool without her sister. squirrelflight is not squirrelflight without her sister, not really. do they ever... resent that ? even just a little bit? that they will be forever so intertwined? even if they wanted to leave (they dont) they never could. leafpool died and wrenched squirrelflights personhood away from her. left her to rot on the ground. even though they promised they could never go on without the other, leafpool died and squirrelflight kept living. inseparable until the end of time, but a quiet part of leafpool cant help but wonder how squirrel is even carrying on when she knows she never could. nothing in the world could drive them apart. they both wouldnt have it any other way.

I've been reading @splinterclan and I am saddened at the loss of Moonpaw, and how she lost her life hurt even more. With Prairiepaw choosing the name Prairiemoon I wanted to make a little thing for the two sisters who very clearly were close their entire lives. I titled the file "Prairie's Moon", probably dumb but I thought it was kinda sweet. DISCLAIMER: This is fan art of the blog @splinterclan! Both characters belong to them - GO READ THEIR COMICS or I will eat your ankles.

If I was accidentally by my cat gods thrown back in time to the wrong era and saw my old mentor/mother figure now a gloomy young adult, a huge contrast to the nobility and wisdom I knew from her but she is alive and mentally sound instead of the empty shell she became before she died in my timeline- I think I would just eat dirt.
