Since there seems to be mass amnesia, let’s recap some of the reasons why William wants nothing to do with his toxic brother and why no one should be pressuring William into reconciling:

1. Meghan and Harry called and thanked a fan who had tweeted horrible things about female members of the royal family including calling Kate an “anorexic wrinkly hoe.”

2. Harry joked about setting up a marriage between the then 17-year-old Greta Thunberg with the then 7-year-old Prince George for the sole purpose of advancing Greta’s platform. The audio of this conversation was leaked by two Russian men who pranked Harry into believing they were Greta and her father.

An appropriate response to a teenager joking about marrying your seven-year-old nephew would be something like, “that’s for George to decide when he’s older.” Not, “I am sure I can help.”

3. In the same "interview" Harry made a dig at the Earthshot Prize Awards by saying giving out prizes won’t fix climate change. This was at the beginning of 2020 just after William had announced Earthshot.

4. Harry used their dead mother to publicly bully William over his looks. Not only were his comments mean and unnecessary but it further contributed to the narrative on social media (primarily by Harry’s fans) claiming Diana “snatched back her looks” when William started “acting like his father.”

"I looked at Willy, really looked at him, maybe for the first time since we were boys. I took it all in: his familiar scowl, which had always been his default in dealings with me; his alarming baldness, more advanced than my own; his famous resemblance to Mummy, which was fading with time. With age." -Spare

5. Harry included a private moment between him and William where William was so desperate to get through to Harry that William used the sacred words about Diana that they agreed to only use during extreme crises in order to try and get through to Harry that he loves him and wants him to be happy. Harry profited off of this.

6. Harry used their playful sibling banter during a 2010 interview as a way to make William out to be a jealous bully.

William and Harry were very obviously joking and no one actually took what they said seriously. Harry conveniently didn’t mention the jabs he took at William saying it’s the last time he’ll live with William, that he’s a better than William and joking about William’s baldness.

Harry also failed to mention that in the same interview William praised Harry’s flying skills and even called out a reporter for the way a question was asked comparing Harry to his "high achieving older brother".

Harry also neglected to mention his own history of throwing jabs at his brother. Here he is talking about William’s wedding day:

7. Harry has accused William of being angry and jealous that Harry got to be deployed while the palace refused to allow William to go. However, Harry conveniently left out when William abruptly stopped an interview that Harry was in the process of giving when noticing how miserable Harry was after he was forced to return home from Afghanistan prematurely when the press leaked his location. Or how he mentioned in a past interview that William wrote him a letter telling him how proud Diana would be of him. Harry only wants to push the narrative that William is a jealous bully.

8. Harry spoke about William’s actions in their fights (pushing him into a dog bowl, shouting in front of the Queen, grabbing his necklace) but conveniently excluded his own actions and contributions to their fights. So William was left looking like a raging bully who physically attacked Harry unprovoked while Harry got to portray himself as the innocent victim.

9. Harry blamed William and Kate for his own stupid decision to wear a nazi uniform to a costume party.

"...I narrowed my options to two. A British pilot's uniform. And a sand-colored Nazi uniform. With a swastika armband. And a flat cap. I phoned Willy and Kate, asked what they thought. Nazi uniform, they said. I rented it, plus a silly mustache, and went back to the house. I tried it all on. They both howled. Worse than Willy's leotard outfit! Way more ridiculous!"

10. Harry shamed William for choosing to spend the night before Harry’s wedding with his three week postpartum wife and three young children (including a newborn) instead of with Harry. Even comparing William to Thomas Markle. As if William should leave his wife (who had just given birth three weeks prior) alone to take care of their three young children (one of which is a newborn) the night before a huge event that would be watched by millions of people around the world.

11. Harry accused William and Kate of changing their seats at his and Meghan’s wedding because Harry and Meghan didn’t follow the tradition of splitting up partners. We’re supposed to believe that William and Kate are such sticklers for tradition they were so bothered that they actually moved their own seat assignments just so they would be the ONLY ONES not seated next to each other.

12. Harry and Meghan launched their Netflix trailer the day before The Earthshot Prize awards ceremony while William and Kate were in Boston which prompted even environmental professionals to call it out for *trying* to overshadow the Earthshot awards.

"Members of the Netflix scientific advisory group complained to the company about the trailer for the documentary. Christiana Figueres, a former UN climate chief who chairs the Earthshot board and sits on the Netflix advisory group, said she was disappointed. Tom Rivett-Carnac, a former UN political strategist who sits on the Netflix advisory group and advises the Earthshot team, complained to the leadership of the streaming service. Figueres. who was the architect of the 2015 Paris climate agreement, said: "Netflix has been a leader on producing valuable content to educate on environmental issues. It is therefore disappointing that they air negative messages on the very same day as the Earthshot Prize. Rivett-Carnac said: "The remarkable finalists and winners of the Earthshot Prize are changing the world. They deserve all attention and recognition so the timing of this release from Netflix, a sustainability content leader, is profoundly disappointing."" -The Times

13. Footage of Kate being stalked and harassed by paparazzi was used in their Netflix series as a way to claim that Meghan was abused by paparazzi. There’s no footage of Meghan being stalked or harassed by paparazzi so instead they used footage of Kate despite them previously telling the world that Kate only experienced things that were rude. So when it happened to Kate it wasn’t that big of a deal but when it happened to Meghan (which there’s no evidence of) it now is terrifying and is history repeating itself like with Diana. This comment from their trailer sums it up perfectly:

14. Harry allowed footage of Diana's panorama interview to be shown in his Netflix series despite William previously publicly saying that the interview should never be aired again due to the interviewer’s illegal tactics and malicious lies used against Diana in order to get the interview. The panorama interview was particularly traumatic for William and according to Diana's closest friends it affected him more than it did Harry. For Harry to completely disregard William's feeling shows how little he actually cares about his brother and that he cares more about how he can use the interview to justify his own shitty behavior.

15. Harry claimed men in his family don't marry for love but rather who best fits into royal life implying to the world that William settled for Kate and doesn't actually love her—which is another narrative that is pushed by his squad.

16. Harry and Meghan included Christopher Bouzy in their Netflix series who tweeted nasty things about William and Kate.

17. Harry accused William of bullying him out of the palace. William called Meghan “rude” and “abrasive” because he took complaints about Meghan bullying staff seriously and refused to allow Meghan to create a toxic work environment.

Valentine Low reported the bullying accusations and has confirmed that his sources are the victims themselves and that they did not get William's permission to speak to him. Harry and Meghan accuse the palace of running a smear campaign against them however they have not sued or taken any legal action against Low.

Harry expected William to ignore an employee literally crying in front of him and instead go with Harry's version of all the rumors being made up by the press and government people who are, according to Harry, addicted to backstabbing.

18. Harry and Meghan used their Netflix series to manipulate the truth and deflect from them getting caught lying in court by accusing William of working with Jason. Jason was the communication's secretary who first emailed William's private secretary Simon Case in October of 2018 about his concerns that multiple staff had been bullied out of the palace by Meghan. Jason was asked to provide a witness statement because Meghan had told the courts that she did not know what her staff had communicated to the press on her behalf. So Jason provided emails to the court that showed his communications with both Meghan and Harry. Meghan even emailed Jason a list of things to give to Scobie to help with his book. Meghan was forced to apologize to the court because Jason's statement proved she lied about not knowing what her team was communicating on her behalf and her involvement with Scobie's book. She claims she "forgot" (despite her friends claiming she keeps receipts but whatever) and she used the Netflix series to make it seem like William and Jason purposely set her up.

19. Harry manipulated the fact that William agreed to settle out of court and accepted money (that William rightfully deserved for his phone being hacked) and instead portrayed it in court as though William made secret deals with the press. Note that William was the one who exposed the whole phone hacking scandal in the first place after bringing his suspicions to the police.

20. Harry accused the royal family of “total neglect” and “total silence” when he and Meghan asked for help even going as far as accusing William of leaking stories. Meghan accused the palace of "perpetuating falsehoods" about them. These are not true. Kensington Palace publicly denied many rumors and stopped stories from being printed. The palace blocked and reported online trolls and reached out to Instagram for help. The palace also released stricter guidelines on what would be allowed on their social media accounts.

But ultimately neither William nor the palace can control what trolls online say. And instead of Harry acknowledging that the palace did make an effort to help them he instead publicly accused his family of refusing to help them which further contributed to the narrative that the royals are racist.

21. Harry and Meghan both accused Kate of making Meghan cry and then claiming that Kate refused to correct the story—which is a lie. Kensington Palace denied that the two women were fighting and Kate also invited Meghan to sit with her at Wimbledon where they put on a united front.

22. Harry talked about Kate's hormones in his memoir knowing that Kate was upset with people she isn't close to talking about her hormones even revealing that Kate was so upset about Meghan talking about her hormones and calling her "baby brain" that she gripped a chair so hard her knuckles turned white. If William and Kate didn't want Meghan talking about Kate's hormones then they most definitely didn't want the whole rest of the world to be talking about it. But because of Harry and Meghan the entire world was talking about it and even using it as a way to villainize Kate and make her out to be a “mean girl” who made Meghan cry over bridesmaids dresses.

23. I’ve already talked about this in other posts and I’m working on another post going over all of the abuse and harassment Kate and her family received so I’m not going to go into too much detail here. Harry sat there as Meghan diminished all of the pain that Kate experienced as just things that were rude. Kate was stalked and harassed to the point that she and her family had to get lawyers and police involved. She was only dating William and had no protection from the palace. William finally released a statement requesting paparazzi leave her alone because it was so similar to what happened to Diana. Harry knew how much this upset William. Kate was completely violated and sexually harrassed over the topless photos and it was clear to anyone that William was beyond pissed about it. Kate went through so much more than just being called “Waity Katie” and things that were rude and Harry and Meghan had no right to talk about it or imply to the entire world that Kate didn’t have it as bad as Meghan.

24. Then we have probably the cruelest thing Harry has done to his family: the racism accusation. Harry and Meghan accused an unknown member of their family of being racist towards their unborn child but refused to share any context about what was publicly said. During the days immediately following the interview when the entire royal family was receiving huge backlash they had Oprah clarify that neither the Queen nor Prince Philip were the ones who made the comment (so Harry and Meghan were fully aware of the backlash the family was getting) which left Charles and William as the primary suspects who were thus labeled as racists despite there being no actual evidence. Harry and Meghan’s friends Gayle King and some other actress who I can't remember the name of went on television and lowkey threatened the royal family saying that Meghan kept receipts of the racism she experienced. Harry and Meghan also went on to accept an award that the organizers specifically said they received for standing up against racism in the royal family.

The accusation was held over the royal family's head for two years. Then when a British journalist questioned Harry about it Harry admitted that the comment was not malicious and he denied ever starting the claim and instead blaming the press for running with the racism narrative. Completely gaslighting everyone who watched Meghan and Harry make the accusation and feed into it. Then later their media puppet who they’ve been busted leaking information to (twice in court) plotted and schemed to have Charles and Kate be named as the racist royals by having it accidentally be printed in the Dutch translation. This was while Kate was struggling with an unknown condition that required her to have major abdominal surgery a month later.

Harry and Meghan made this accusation in the Oprah interview with the sole purpose of getting Charles and William “canceled.” Harry and Meghan didn’t make the accusation to bring awareness to unconscious bias, if they did then they would’ve given details of what was actually said so that people could learn from it. They knew Oprah wouldn’t challenge them or push them too hard for the details. They knew Charles and William would be unable to defend themselves. They wanted Charles and William to be blamed for it and to receive the global backlash that had the potential to destroy their reputations which is a huge deal for people in Charles and William's positions.

The accusation also affected Kate’s family. These are some of the many comments left on Kate's brother's instagram. James was going through his own suicidal depression at the time and yet he was attacked by Harry and Meghan’s fans…all because Harry and Meghan carelessly and irresponsibly made a serious accusation but refused to give any details.

25. After the Oprah interview Harry and Meghan told journalist Gayle King about Harry’s private conversations with Charles and William, saying they were “not productive.” Gayle then publicly relayed this information with the world on her news show.

26. In the Netflix series there was a scene of Harry receiving a text message from William the day after the Oprah interview aired and Meghan stands up and gives him a hug telling him to breathe. As Harry showed Meghan the text she was on a call with Tyler Perry who asked if everything was okay to which Meghan immediately responded, “Wow. H just got a text from his brother.” I’m sure William appreciated the footage of Meghan blabbing to her friend about his message to his brother just seconds after he sent it. Meghan didn’t even hesitate for a moment to think maybe she should keep this private for the sake of her husband’s relationship with his only sibling who is known to notoriously cut people off when they break his trust. Instead it was more important for them to further portray William as a jealous bully who sent poor innocent Harry a mean message. Acting as if William had no reason to be furious at them for that interview.
