OKAY SO HERE ARE THE PICS. Inspired by this post by @pipistrellus (@pipcomix)

These are 16th century Renaissance inspired hotpants, panelled with navy velvet with a red silk lining and hand-embroidered butt slogan, which I believe is like 300% historically accurate. They’re actually modelled off a genuine Tudor pattern but then made ridiculous because who am I.

Worn with thigh highs and a 18th C shirt cuz it was all I had to hand and frankly shirts don’t change that much lol.

One weird and specific thread that I’ve seen flow through a wide variety of tumblr conversations is that you people have no fucking idea what women in our 30s are like: you don’t know what we do for fun, you have no idea what we look like, our media interests puzzle and frighten you and the whole vibe is that every time you find out a woman is over, say 33, you gasp that a wizened hag has again managed to slip in among you.  Surely she must be a secret immortal or a terrifying ghoul.

I’ve decided to try something new, and opened up an etsy shop for these bags. They’re super fun to make, and I have a couple personally for my own dice and love them.

The large size fits 3 sets of d&d dice comfortable, and the small set fits 1 set.

If this test run sells, I may open up options for specific yarn colors and such. If we’re mutuals and you’d like a dice bag, go ahead and reach out to me and we’ll work something out! ♥

more snails with a job to do!  find them now in thecritterhole<3

these snails are all up in the shop to raise money for KIND, as in, kids in need of defense, an organization that provides immigrant children with representation in immigration court.  obviously…children should not be expected to represent themselves.  most of them do not speak english and many of them are under the age of ten.

please consider bringing one of these home to you–if all 20 sell, we will be able to send $400 to KIND to help fund their much-needed efforts.
