The Witcher 3 turned the Aen Elle into villains — but they are not portrayed that way in the books. Yes, they conquered a territory where they built their new city and founded a new state, but I don’t understand why they are denied the right to fight for survival like any other people.

Is the struggle for a place under the sun only acceptable — and considered just — when it’s done by humans?

Just think about that for a moment… Isn’t it a bit hypocritical?

They are fighting for their people, for their race. The fact that the Aen Elle are willing to do anything to help their brotherly kin — that is noble. And the fact that they seek to regain a power that might help them relocate in the event of a cataclysm — that too is entirely understandable. That doesn’t make them villains.

gotta admire Rumplestiltskin for using the Dark One’s long life and powers to the utmost. because it wasn’t enough just to be the most powerful sorcerer he could be, he also went from a poor spinner of wool to a literate wordsmith and master of contracts, a man with sartorial genius and flair, collector of valuable goods in his world and any other, inventor of potions and curses never created before, sword fighter, and a plotter of the most long game variety possible.

Just saw an Instagram reel about ouat where the guy explained the plot as “This show is about two women with very different moral compasses working together because they care about the same child. And then the B plot is this woman (shows picture of Belle) being absolutely cock struck by pure evil”

And, y’know, yeah. That B plot kept me watching for 7 straight seasons. It’s the focal point for me personally!

I am really proud of this one. It looks like a still from an animated feature film! I went lighter on the black lines, and stuck more to the palate of the subject itself. I think I captured his skeeziness but also theatrical allure, just how the character was portrayed by Robert Carlyle.

✨ On Themed Weddings and the Magic We Deserve ✨

I don’t think I could ever have a themed wedding —

not unless I was marrying the character it was built around.

You know the ones — Labyrinth weddings, Hannibal weddings, Witcher weddings.

The music, the setting, the atmosphere… beautiful.

But if I look across the aisle and the person standing there

doesn’t feel like the myth,

doesn’t carry that same strange gravity…

Then it would all ring hollow.

Because I’m not here to play pretend.

I don’t want to wrap a fairytale around something ordinary

just to make it shine.

If I ever choose someone,

it won’t be because they fit the aesthetic.

It’ll be because they carry the energy.

Because they make the world shift when they enter the room.

Until then, I’d rather walk alone

through forests of fantasy and stardust,

than settle for a love

that doesn’t feel like magic incarnate.
