Stanley Pines making Ford's home something other than a tourist trap. Welcome to the Mystery:

- Hotel! If you see Bigfoot in one of the rooms, no you didn't.

- Hospital! He definitely has a licence. And so do the two 12 year olds

- (Already have one but) Café! Its like a regular café but in the middle of a forest! Isn't that relaxing? Ignore the werewolf.

- Triangular Structure! You must pay to visit! And no it isnt a portal that his brother fell through (yes it is. He can still hear the screams-) ALL EMPLOYEES MUST WEAR TRIANGLES. Soos is a porta-i mean- triangle mascot.

- Restaurant! Its like the café but Greasy Diner's feels threatened and accidentally Stan becomes rivals with them?? He has a menu but will only sell you the pancakes.

- Cars! Stanley saw Mr Gleeful, decided he hated him and began his own car shops to piss him off. Everyone is a mechanic, especially Soos. This time he really is and isnt lying.

- Library! Remember all those books in the basement? Well where the hell was he supposed to put them? If you look closely enough you can find an author whose book you may never borrow, S.F Pines... you can also find actual magic books btw. If you borrow any and dont return it, Stan turns up at your door or just steals it back (some people think the books magically return to the library- it gives Stan a whole lot of work of getting them back so you will have to pay a fee)

- Retirement Home! Have you ever been an old guy? Who wanted to be taken care of by ANOTHER old guy? Well wait no more! (Would consist of hilarious adventures of the mystery twins and old people)

- Laboratory! What better way to hide an interdimentional portal other than by not hiding it at all and getting a bunch of nerds to do the work for you? (+ the kids get to wear adorable matching scientist outfits. Mabel insists on crazy updos with white streaks and Dipper keeps putting his hands behind his back and monologuing)

- Police Station?? Can beat them but dont want to? Join them! They'll never know its you stealing all that radioactive stuff!

[This post began with a prompt idea of Mystery Hotel but the idea expanded and I loved how stupid the alternatives were]

WIP!! This is my first run cycle ever! I’m at like 14 hrs spent on a simple cycle but I’m proud of it so far!

This probably would have been less difficult if I didn’t decide to animate the wings and flowing clothes😭

I think I started this specific shot months ago but took a detour to learn more about waves and arcs. I was struggling with the wings for forever, but after an obsessive fueled study sesh I had a much better understanding of how to do them and did it all at 3am.

Learned from these great tutorials/lessons.

Doing these exercises really leveled up how I thought about animating. ⬆️
