Wanted to modify the design of Ani and Val's uh.. progenitor? in a way that makes more sense thematically... I think.. She has a sort of locked up demon vibe, so now her wings are pinned down. pushed the dial up on the humanoid elements a bit too. Im not 100% fixated, but I think the redesign is going in the right direction

Characters: human vs not! just some ramblings about their views on that subject and relationships

Valentin: Used to be a regular human at first but has been tainted by ████ . This has made him more in tune with the world of the confins than even experienced exorcists. This with his weird upbringing and difficulty communicating has led him to feel out of step with others. In a way, he feels like he has to earn the right to be considered as "human" and not something dangerous to get rid of. He desires to know of his real origins.

Aniket: Avatar. Her physical form is just a tool to her and sees others as doing the same. Deep down is terribly envious of humans but will self destruct and bring people down with her before she recognizes anything. Unconsciously, she feels like she has to sully everything she likes. Her only admitted goal is to obey ████ so she can come back to her at last.

Beryl: Human. Since he is very inexperienced, he goes off what he's been taught about avatars and other non human spirits. However, he has been often proven wrong. Has a savior complex. Tends to trust too much for his own good. Val's perception has saved him more than once.

Luce: Human. Has been somewhat forced to become a mistrustful loner. Will kill any confirmed non human on sight as she does not give any credit at all to their word. However, she's still a soft person at heart so that still affects her a lot, even though you wouldn't be able to tell from the outside. She says she desires to get redemption for what she's done by getting rid of Aniket.

Cassandre: Human. With her talent and high ranking position, she is used to bypass rules with little to no consequence as long as it advances her organization's (and personal) cause. She's used plenty of means and people for that goal, be it actually permitted or not. Others affect her very little. She wants to get rid of the world's connection with the confins, as she sees it as bringing only danger and misery. But along the way, that goal has become self absorbed.

Beck: ???. Admires humans since he has been pulled from the primordial mud by Cassandre. Acts very carefully around them as he sees them as extremely fragile. However, his loyalty is only Cassandre's. An enigma to others, as he tends to stay put as her silent bodyguard. He desires to accomplish the wish of Cassandre but also to find his other "half". However, since he does not speak of the latter, others see him as a sort of robot without free will.
