One thing I've noticed in the benchmark is that they've differentiated Male Midlander face 7 from face 5 a little more than before. Face 7 used to be just a copy of face 5 but with a five o' clock shadow added. Now it's a bit more haggard, more lined. There are brow creases. He's Seen Some Shit™. I like it. Lets a middie be a little less babyfaced and bridge the gap with Highlanders slightly.

Got some pretty bad news. After his ultrasound, the doctor is fairly sure Sneakers here has cancer.

We don’t yet know the nature of the mass they found in his small intestine. I’m going to consult a specialist to have it biopsied and see what treatment options are viable. I don’t know how far I’ll be able to take his treatment or how much stress I'd have to put him through in pursuit of it, but I’ll do everything in my power for him without making it too hard on him. He is the most loyal friend I have ever had or ever will have.

In the meantime, please hold this silly old man in your thoughts. He’ll need all the help he can get. The sixteen years he's had aren't enough for either of us.
