An orphan teenager who is often seen in Chinh's house or courtyard, running around doing who-knows-what. He claims to be Chinh's assistant although Chinh never described him as such. He's a bit timid but very hardworking.

He lost his parents in the big fire that happened in the city a few years prior and lives at his uncle's since.
He works for Chinh for free, hence why Chinh doesn't really consider him to be his assistant but just a kid who hangs around and doesn't cause a mess. Dinh goes there in the hopes that he might become a physician later as well.

While other characters are not that expressive, this one had all kinds of expression from beaming with joy to crying with snot dripping from his nose. A comic-relief much needed by the side of our MC.
While he could have been a perfect second male lead, I really needed someone who had less worries and braincells to balance it out. Compared to others, you can tell he grew up in a very loving household.
Not the type to gain weight. Will stuff his face and still be quite tall and lean.
Yes, he doesn't look like it but he's in high school. Yes, he isn't very bright but he still graduated with average grades. Yes, he's a pookie.

He's surprisingly fickle despite having an almost perfect front. Was hinted by Haruki to be a chaotic bi guy (he is).
Became a teacher out of spite so his job isn't particularly important to him. Far from being a workaholic. Only takes care of his appearance when he is going out/off work.

While he's said to have a type and be very popular, he actually never had a real crush. He's just easily persuaded into shallow relationships.

I created him with a lot of traits that I liked back then and still like now (glasses, long messy black hair, pale skin, red lips, sharp eyes...)
I draw him pretty due to my bias but canonically, he's seen as rather plain-looking and not particularly strikingly beautiful. He is charming in a more model-like way if it makes sense, than idol-like (like Hiroshi or Rei would be)
He's shy but he can babble a lot when he gets comfortable. He still gets misunderstood a lot though, even if he talks.
