like okay we've very intentionally quarantined off all mcyt posting to another blog bc we know it annoys people but at some point i think there should maybe be a conversation around how people treat nascent artistic mediums as particularly foul/offensive/annoying/unworthy of serious analysis and how as a result the artistic capability of those mediums is set back by years while a lot of founding "texts" from these mediums start getting lost and overlooked. comics is wrestling is video games is ingame improv. you don't have to like a particular medium but the barest modicum of respect would really help to make fandom around it less annoying.

Peer pressure duo is such a perfect name for them.

I haven't gotten far in the Dsmp to see any of their interactions (where I'm at, neither have even joined), but I have seen Techno agonizing over being a side character and I love them

In the first, which is loosely taking place in a forest, Ranboo is lecturing at Dream and Tubbo, both of whom are facing away from the pt of view. Ranboo, gesturing semi-intensely and yelling at the other unhinging his jaw enough to reopen the tears on the white side of his face, is indicated saying the screenshot reading “ESH. You’re both just enabling each other’s mental illnesses. You’re both perfect for each other. Never change. Just never involve anybody else in what you’ve got going on.” 

In the second, Dream, Ranboo, and Tubbo are all just standing there variably. Dream’s orb head is rotated sideways so the smile glyph appears like the :) keyboard glyph, and he is holding a book, presumably a revive book. Ranboo is glaring at him; meanwhile, Tubbo is gripping its left wrist, which is also outfitted with a tracker, as Ranboo hides something else behind its back with its right. Tubbo is, meanwhile, holding a controller/remote screen in his free hand and is looking down boredly at it. Above them is superimposed the screenshot reading “ESH you are all horrible people.” 

In the third, Technoblade and Ranboo are on the phone (which are drawn as flip phones). Ranboo is shaking and clearly distressed, presumably having just related some harrowing drama, while Techno, looking horrified, is indicated as thinking the screenshot reading “INFO: what the heck,” with the first two letters of “heck” having been edited in in post.]

I think it is a really common misconception that Ranboo (character)’s memory issues cause him to be easily susceptible to manipulation but that isn’t actually true
