As an example, one of my headcanons about my blorbos is that Karleeen has celiac like myself. Reason of course being that I like Karleeen very much and this is what people do when they like a character. It could also literally be true! Nothing about how Karleeen is says that she couldn’t have celiac, and as a matter of fact the box of snacks she keeps in her room is full of snacks that I like to eat i.e all of them are gluten free to begin with:

Why haven’t I made it canon, then? I dunno…. I don’t want to make things more difficult, which is kinda funny to feel like if you’ve seen me talk about celiac and my feelings on it TToTT Not like she’d have much reason to have celiac in the first place! But in my mind it’s all but confirmed…. yes indeed….

Obviously anything you decide is canon, it’s your world, but there are some fun ideas that I like to bounce around and ponder that I know wouldn’t fit into the world at large, or am just kinda unsure about adding for real. Like a little tidbit that would be pretty fun or cool but I know it would change things quite a bit, so it doesn’t become canon. They’re my headcanons!!

Miri’s smugness is one of her most important attributes I think. So important that it’s just the way her species looks forever. And yeah I wanted to do her right, with her really long head and all! You’d think her head ends at the gills but nahhh, look closer! A long skull is a good thing to have, where else would all her jaw muscles connect to!???

I wanna get excited about MSF but there’s also Artfight things to do and I have to prepare for a trip gghhhhhhhhhhh…… but. Oh my cod. There’s a part in MSF that I’m really excited about I’m getting excited just thinking about it and it’s. It’s literally as simple as Karleeen making a pun. She says a joke, not even to the Man she just thinks about it. This is literally revolutionary it’s so simple but that’s exactly why it’s so AUGH

Idea people speech... Idea people tend to speak to you in your native language, but you may occasionally find yourself suddenly realising that you aren't quite sure what language you were just talking in, it all came so naturally to you that you didn't pay attention. The answer is of course, "all of them".

One weird feature of idea people speech is, sometimes an idea person might be speaking normally to you but all of the sudden in the middle of the sentence you hear overlapping words that muffle each other out, yet simultaneously there's an instantaneous metaphorical arrow shot through your brain that "tells" you what the thing being conveyed was, or rather, you simply understand it, like memories and facts in a dream that didn't exist until a second ago. Even though you couldn't make out a thing. Feels uncomfortable! It happens if the specific concept being communicated doesn't quite perfectly match with the vocabulary you know.

Things that humans literally cannot understand just sound like nothing.... a noiseless scratching from inside your brain that hurts your ears and makes you feel annoyed, somehow (is it too high pitched for you? Where's it coming from? What's going on?).

Idea people never use synonyms unless the meaning of the word meaningfully changes. Idea people do not quite understand what you mean by synonyms, either.

@thatonegaycactus Yeah, idea people speech (at least in the mediums that we can understand) is weird to physical creatures. Usually it's perceived as normal speech, but not always! Billiam sometimes dumbs it down into extremely simple concepts for mocking purposes. It's very much a "how are you saying that" situation because you suddenly simply understand what he's saying in your brain, memories and images flashing in your head, an uncomfortable tingling and stinging sensation.

Made a simple gif of Karleeen turning a chair more fitting for her.

Furniture can either be usable by both taurs and two-legged humans all the time, or it can be switched between several modes. This can either be done with moveable mechanical components or with magically enchanted parts that change their shape when given the instruction to. The instruction can be inside a physical part like a button or a switch, or in the case of the chair above, it is a simple spell (or the beginnings of a spell) that a complex spell in the very structure inside the chair reacts to and starts unfurling the chair’s secondary form!

I also realise I’ve never explained this before but when a physical creature performs magic its eyes’ sclera and iris colours switch and the eyes begin glowing. Karleeen’s eyes are of course brown, so the glowing looks orange. This has been a thing in the Sirpaverse since 2021 but somehow I’ve never really drawn anybody use magic!? It was about time I did something about that.

Sirpaverse Flintstones where there’s Generic Cartoon Dinosaur Cavemantaurs(TM) and Sabertooth Tiger Cavemantaurs(TM) and all modern day animal-inspired taurs are much hairier and brutish to signify that they are “proto-taurs” to go along with the overall hairier and brutish caveman aesthetic
