Aha scrolling through your blog is such a fun trip. It's amazing to see the amount of different styles and brushes you utilized up to now. A whole lot of improvement as well! And I still adore seeing a random Dante appear on my TL because I know it's you and it reminds me why there's a fondness for DmC Dante ❤️

My style inconsistency actually bugs me sometimes, like, I really wish I could stick to the same recognizable look for all my works, but I guess it's the subject matter that makes my drawings stand out instead xD (which is also totally cool!)

I'm glad that you appreciate me experimenting with different styles. After all, it's through implementing the elements of other various styles that inspire me I'm learning and gradually figuring out something cool of my own :)

What does AmS stand for?

AmS stands for Angel May Scream! It was a working title for this project that stuck eventually because I couldn't think of anything better :P no, DmC2 was Not an option

Also it's a reference to that one line from Shall Never Surrender by Tetsuya Shibata from DMC4 :)

I'll tell you now I'm the one to survive

I'll have you choke on your own demise

I make the angel scream, and the devil cry

I liked it because over the course of AmS' plot Dante was supposed to travel to both the realms of demons and angels to stop them from turning the human world into a battlefield again (yk, bc Mundus isn't a threat anymore and both Hell and Heaven want to claim the smoothly running factory of human souls he's built), and he was supposed to find his newly acquired beliefs and goals (humanity deserves to be free and independent, not being ruled by demons, angels or nephilim, etc.) challenged by all sorts of external antagonistic forces. So yeaahhh, the reference to this song seemed fitting.

Would you ever make DmC merch? Like prints and keychains? I’d love a little keychain of popsicle dante (´･ω･`) since DmC is relatively unpopular I make my own buttons and stuff, it would be cool to get merch from others

Hi! Thanks for your interest! Right now my plans regarding merch are pretty vague, I just know that I want to make some down the line, but apart from a list of ideas there isn't much progress yet :'D Mainly because of the lack of free time, as right now I'm overwhelmed with my thesis work and all that senior year stuff... So I don't think I'll get to merch-making before I graduate in summer.

I'm also not sure if shipping from Russia to other countries outside of CIS will be feasible because so far it feels like we're under the Iron Curtain 2.0 here + the shipping prices are high as hell tbh💀
