FFS PETA
This man was a legacy and inspiration to everyone young and old. He not only help and rescue animals, he also taught us the importance and how to show respect to these animals.
Unlike you PETA, this guy actually cared for animal welfare by setting up a 1000 acre park where all animals, temporary and permanent are given the upmost care and respect and not euthanised because “it’s more humane.”
For you to try and smear this great man’s name with your bullshit propaganda is the most disrespectful act you can do.
Unlike your cult leader Ingrid Newkirk, this man made a positive impact on the earth with his kind-hearted nature and personality.
Go fuck yourselves, PETA
Sincerely, everyone.

The Piano (Jumin x MC)
Just a little something I wrote because I know I would probably be as embarrassing if I ever found myself in this situation
(Day 8, but the whole Sarah showing up doesn’t happen)
I feel so bad for Jumin, losing Elizabeth the 3rd must be difficult for him. But luckily, I can offer some support even though that’s just staying in his apartment. Oh, well, at least I can do something to pass the time. I know he doesn’t want me to leave but I’m sooo bored, I’m going to die. Maybe I can explore the rest of the building, technically I’m not leaving (ha ha). Yeah, it’ll be fine. I opened the front door and was greeted by several bodyguards.
“Hi,” I said with a smile, “I’m just letting you know that I’ll be exploring the rest of the building, mainly the first and second floors. So, yeah”
“I’m sorry miss, but Mr. Han would rather you stay in the apartment,” said one guard
“I know, but if I’m in the building would I really be leaving?” they all nodded and I could feel defeat. “Okay, how about two of you come with me and make sure I stay within the confines of the building?” they looked uneasily at each other. “Please,” I begged “I’m going to die of boredom if I don’t at least do something.”
“Fine,” one said “Lee, Park you both accompany Ms. MC.”
“Thank you! You won’t regret this,” I said before going to put my favorite heels and heading out. “We’ll be back before Jumin even realizes I was gone.”
We went down to the lobby where a bunch of little stores were located, which was nice I guess but not that cool. We continued to the second floor where I found a gym to workout which would be great, except I don’t do that so forget it.
“Is there a music room in this building?” I asked after wandering for an hour.
“Yes, we do, on the third floor,” Park responded.
“Great, let’s head there,” I said making my way to the elevator.
The room was spacious and had a stage, where, I imagine, people would perform. In the center of the room, however, was what I was looking for: a piano. It’s been nine days since last I’ve played and I need to stretch my fingers. The bodyguards waited outside the glass doors, occasionally looking in to make sure I was still there.
Meanwhile, I sat at the piano and placed myself properly before playing one of the only songs I know by heart, Gymnopedie No. 1 by Satie. It was a piece I played often when I used to take lessons, so it wasn’t a bad song to use to warm-up my fingers.
In another part of the building
Jumin emerges from the elevator to find many worried-looking bodyguards, which only rubs off on him. He enters the empty apartment and immediately calls out “MC!” He goes around the apartment looking for her, terrified she left him like Elizabeth, before asking the bodyguards out front.
“Where is she?” he was visibly panicked which only made the guards more nervous.
“Ms. MC is on the third floor, in the music room. She’s with Lee and Park,” one of them said as Jumin stormed to the elevator.
As he arrived to the music room he saw that Lee and Park were indeed there, and so was MC, and relaxed. He could see and hear her playing Fur Elise by Beethoven, and quietly walked in the room to listen.
I had just finished playing and heard clapping behind me, as I turned around I saw Jumin. I hadn’t realized what time it was and, in panic, attempted to stand up before being stopped by the piano (it hurt my thighs) and forced to sit back down. I slid from the chair and turned around to face him.
“I’m so sorry, Jumin, I lost track of time. I just wanted to explore the building some more and found a piano, I couldn’t help myself.”
He just smiled his same sweet smile and sat on the bench next to me.
“It’s fine, though I wish you had told me. I was worried you had left too,” I could see the sadness in his eyes and felt guilty. Great job me, I’m supposed to help him and made it worse.
I plastered a reassuring smile, “Of course not, I just haven’t played in a while and didn’t want to lose my touch. Do you play, Jumin?”
“Only a little, when I was younger I took lessons quite often.” He gently touched the piano keys and I could only look at him. I turned around to face the piano.
“Why don’t we have a bit of fun? Do you know the left hand for Moonlight Sonata first movement?”
“No, but perhaps we can find it.” He motioned for me to get up and lifted the top of the bench to reveal a bunch of sheet music. I held the top open while he searched, and after two minutes of searching he found it.
“You can sight read, right?” I asked
“Yes, and the left hand is not too complicated,” he answered.
I smiled and we placed our hands upon the piano. We were playing together, his left hand and my right hand working together to create the hauntingly beautiful melody. When we played the finale I was suddenly aware of how close we really were, and I think Jumin realized the same. I could feel my face get hot and turned away from the piano to distance myself from this situation.
“How was that for fun, Jumin?” I laughed uncomfortably. He stared at me for a few seconds before getting up as well.
“I enjoyed playing with you, MC,” he smiled at me and I could feel the butterflies erupt in my stomach (which made me anxious).
“Why don’t we head back up, I’m sure you must be hungry after this morning,” I said leading us out of the music room. I saw Jumin give one last look at the piano before following. As we walked, I decided to make small talk.
“Why don’t you have a piano in your apartment?”
“Would you like me to buy one for you?” He asked
“No, it’s just, with how much you work, it could do you some good,” I replied trying to recover from that.
“How so?”
“Well, personally, I play the piano when I want to get away from work for a while. It’s a nice break from stress but it still stimulates your mind, so you won’t be brain dead.” He placed his hand on his chin pondering.
“That is a good point, I’ll consider purchasing one. Thank you, MC,” again with a smile that could melt a thousand hearts.
We got to the apartment and ate lunch, while Jumin explained his day going to different locations to let the public know to look out for Elizabeth. I tried to be as supportive as I could in this difficult time. After an hour, of enjoying each others company Jumin had to go to work and we parted ways.
I stayed in the apartment scrolling through my phone when a knock came on the door. I went to open it and saw two men holding a rather large package.
“The grand piano Mr. Jumin Han ordered,” one of the men said. I swear I was going to faint before giving them room to enter.
“Where would you like us to put it?” the other asked. It isn’t even my place, but I have to make this decision, talk about responsibility.
“Um, just in the corner there. Do you need me to move anything?”
“No, it’s fine we’ll manage. We just need you to sign here” he handed we a sheet and I signed the dotted line.
I watched them set up the black piano with awe, I’ve never seen how pianos are set up but it makes sense now. It took them an hour to get it ready and they promptly left after. I was too nervous I would break the piano (even though that isn’t possible) so I just went back to looking at my phone, waiting for Jumin to get back. When he returned, I greeted him but I could tell he was surprised I wasn’t playing.
“Do you not enjoy the piano?” He asked, seemingly hurt.
“No, I do, but I just thought you should be the first to play as it is yours.” He laughed, amused by my logic.
“I did not buy it for myself, but for you. You seemed to enjoy yourself earlier when you were playing and I thought you would like to be able to play here as well,” he said, as though it was obvious.
“Hm? I thought you wanted to de-stress and that’s why you bought it for yourself,” I felt like a gold-digger just imagining him lavishing me in different gifts and wanted to set the record straight. “I didn’t need a piano, I could play downstairs. I only suggested you getting one to take a break.”
“I know, MC, but I like doing this for you. You deserve this gift,” he said
“No, I don’t deserve anything. Being your friend doesn’t equate requiring expensive gifts. I am staying here to support you, I don’t need to be given a piano,” I said to get my point across.
When I saw his hurt expression I felt guilty and put my hand on his.
“I’m sorry, Jumin. But I don’t want you to buy things because I want them, use your money to make yourself happy.”
“It makes me happy when you are, but now I feel I’ve made a mistake,” he said taking out his phone.
Damn he’s good. Against my better judgement, I placed my hand over his phone.
“I really do like the piano, Jumin, but maybe you should play it first.”
“Would that make you happy?” He asked me innocently
“Yes, it would” I smiled.
He put his phone away and went to the bookshelf to get a book of classical sheet music and flipped through. As he started playing, I recognized it as Bach’s Prelude in C Major, a simple yet elegant piece. I sat on the couch listening to him play and clapped when he finished. He poured himself some wine and joined me on the couch. We sat and talked for a while before the chef arrived and served dinner.
During dinner, there was a song I could not quite place playing.
“It’s Satie’s piece, ‘Je te Veux’,” he said as though he could read my mind.
“It’s a beautiful piece. As always, you have good taste in music,” I said smiling.
He took my right hand in his left and lead me to stand. We began to dance to the music together, which is probably the most romantic thing that’s ever happened to me. His hand was on my waist, while mine was on his shoulder and he lead us to the rhythm of the music.
Everything was perfect, that is, until I took a step back and my heel broke. Jumin was able to catch me but looked worried.
“At least I know you’ll be there to catch me next time,” I laughed as he lead my head back up.
I took off both shoes and looked at them with indifference.
“They were my favorite, but I’ll buy a new pair tomorrow,” I shrugged. I threw the broken one away and was about to break the second heel before I looked at Jumin.
“How about you do the honors?” I extended my shoe to him.
“What?” He said looking confused
“I have this thing where I break the heels of my shoes before throwing them out, but I see now that I’m probably weird so I’ll do it myself.”
However, before I could, Jumin took my shoe and broke the heel.
“There you go,” he handed it back to me.
“You know, you didn’t have to pity break my heel. I would have done it myself,” I said throwing the shoe away.
“I know, but I wanted to do it for you. You did ask me to, afterall” he smiled.
Trust me, I know, and I’ll forever regret doing so. He probably thinks I’m a bigger weirdo than before, so much for winning his affections with my charms.
We stood there a while, not saying anything, before he lead me back towards the couch. We talked about nothing important before I got tired.
“Okay, I’m going to get ready to sleep.” I said and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
I walked a good five steps away before I stopped dead in my tracks and realized what I had done. By that point, Jumin was already standing and held my hand. God, strike me down where I stand. There is no recovering from this.
I wanted to bury myself in the deepest darkest hole and never face the embarrassment of what I had done. But sure enough, I was going to. I looked at the ground the whole time he was leading me back to him. I could feel his eyes burning into me, but I couldn’t look. He placed his hand under my chin and gently made me gaze at him. Before he could say anything I began apologizing.
“I’m so sorry, Jumin. I swear it wasn’t on purpose and I would never have done that if I was in my right mind, and--” I kept rambling until he placed his other hand around my waist.
He kept leaning in and soon we were kissing. I was dazed and confused, but it was nice. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his hand tangled my hair. We stopped and looked at each other before I said
“Thanks,” like an idiot. I was going to die of all this embarrassment, “You know what, I’m, um, going to go before I further embarrass myself.”
And like a coward, I went to the bathroom to process what just happened. But I don’t regret it, it was nice and I would do it again in a heartbeat (but maybe without saying thanks this time).
