That's probably one of the most randomest things I've ever dropped, but let me say ... I do watch children shows and even if they aren't "good", I see a potential and loves to scribble some ideas :D I mean children shows are targeting children, so of course the plot, the design etc. is made for children and that can make the show look bad to "adult eyes".

Kibaoh Klashers was actually okay and if you really work on that worldbuilding, it could be a cool and dramatic story. The characters were (excluding Ollie) mature and well written. Friendship, fairness, justice and honer were big topics. I can only speak for the german dub, but the voiceactors are known people, so that's why I kept watching.

I love Shard, but I do love many other characters aswell. So I will post other stuff here :D

Yeah Chucks definitely using Shard to his advantage. If the man needs a mobile tower for his projects, then the boi has to turn into Metal ...? [If you wanna suggest names, I'm open to it :D]

Buuut a giant robo-dragon, which looks very similar to Metal Overlord, attracs attention. And do I say that Shard doesn't want that kind of attention. The "Kai-fight" was enough ... no need for a second round ...

Also Chuck can switch between the nice cool uncle to "Get off my lawn!".

Guys I have a question.

And I think this question was asked a lot in past years ... but can someone tell me, how clothing works? I'm confused 😅 ... I mean is being nude (with gloves and shoes) like the basic thing? and with every clothe more you present something special? Like an event o uniform or ...? Just imagine Eggman gettin under this rule ... IM PISSIN ON THE MOOOON

Also have Jules and Chuck as children.

I think they both lived through the cool guy and weird nerd trope. Jules always good in sports and hyperactive, while Chuck is more calm and can outsmart everyone. But don't get me wrong Jules is not stupid and Chuck is very agile. Yeah it's most likely Sonic and Tails 🤣🤣

Aaand as teenager/students along with Bernie.

Yeah read in some wiki that Jules always tried to flirt with Bernie. Well I think he is semi good at it. *fingerguns* And Chuck is more invested in his studies. No time for silly brother-bothers! Yes Chuck wears a coat, like a professor.

Shard's losing it ...

This is a scene from a funny story I had in mind. You know less lore, more filler-episode-like.

To be short, it's about a camping trip (I love camping trips, road trips, etc.) with Sonics parents, Amy, Knuckles Tails and Shard. While the others driving with the car to the camp side, Sonic and Shard are taking the "hard way" by foot. The way Jules were once taking. WELL and Sonic sees this as a challenge. Cause what my old man can do, I can do better. Also I have constantly prove myself as a son. So he uses only things his father had back then, which was most likely a map and a compass. And no, a navi is out of discussion.

Well ... let's say everyone has their fun. At the camp side two groups are forming and arguing about the best way to do things, while Tails is in the middle and wishes for Sonic to be there, while Sonic is struggling to find his way to the camp side. And Shard is mentally exhausted.

And why is Shard there and not Chuck? Well the gramps saw an opportunity to have a week without any disturbance and absolute silence. He's old. Let him have this.

DAILY STRUGGLE ...

I love to imagine that after a time he let Shard live with him. (I hope atleast Chuck has a own house or something?) Just imagine how Shard tries his best to be useful and ends up in old behaviours when he was with Eggman.

Also since Shard is pretty impatient, especially when people he likes wanting something and he has possibilities to get them what they want, he does things which may seem a bit "rushed/drastic." Killer robot is still there, waiting. Stand by ...

Chucks parenting is oldschool ... he's a grumpy old man lol.

Also I'm wondering how Shard is viewing Robians. Or worse, see a robotocized Chuck.

SOME THOUGHTS that drivin me nuts ...

You know I think Shards character could have need so much more character development. Like for all the trauma and insecurities he had/has to endure ... in a world, which hold (atleast a little) grudge against artifical life ... due to Eggman.

He was a famous killer robot. Mocking animals ... maybe killing them?? I know Sonic universe ... kid friendly and stuff, but these sharp fingers aren't there for nothing ... He might was causing a bad future, where every living thing is a robotic slave ... he saw how the Eggman Empire could have been. And now he tries everything to adjust to the "good side". Finding a place in the world. Seeking for forgiveness and a chance to prove himself.

Maybe he even can't move on from this. Alwayd playing the brave clown, while he's actually scared and frustrated. He probably stuck in his past. Always confronting himself, blaming himself ... Everytime he looks in the mirror he might not even see his current appearance ... just this menacing stare ...

Also, what I believe to recognize is that Eggman seems to got softer over the years. You know like in the beginning he hated nature, life itself and Sonic (of course) so much, that he just wanted to destroy everything. But nowadays it seems he has fun challenging the rodents. It's more of a game ... So I thought it would be interesting if his designs were gettin "softer" too.

And Shard might has the trauma of failing. Never won a battle alongside Eggman. Never enough for Eggman. Constant failure. Everytime reprogrammed. Everytime upgraded. Yeah of course does he want to constantly prove himself.

And yes then there is the fear of abandonment. One mistake and you're just scrap. Trash. You will be left to rot. Nobody will help you, repair you and give you a second chance ... and with Chuck exactly giving him this second chance, he might be really afraid that this hedgehog, this father figure, will also leave him, when he fails.

Oh and then maybe sometimes ... old habits sneak through. I also think there is this fear to go back to his old ways. No control about his "darker side".

I just love these redeeming characters. They try their best 💖
