Molly Gilmore ✤ Wild Things

Molly Gilmore wasn’t stupid; she knew that she didn’t fit in with the rest of her family.  She had always been too wild for her studious older sister, her mom thought that she was one screw up away from being the next teen pregnancy in the family, and her grandparents had made it quite clear that they blamed her for her father leaving — the second time, at least. She loved Stars Hollow, and they loved her too, but she knew that hardly a day went by without her name passing through their lips in hushed tones, word of her latest screw ups flying through the town in scandalized whispers. She never tried to fit in at Chilton, not that she’d even wanted to go in the first place.  It was a school for the Rorys of the world, future Ivy League students and leaders of the world, not for family disappointments and perpetual failures like Molly.  She knew what they thought of her there, students and faculty alike, and she wasn’t going to waste her time trying to change their already cemented opinions on her. Molly Gilmore didn’t belong anywhere.  She had accepted that years ago, had come to terms with the fact that there was no place for her in a town like Stars Hollow.  But when Luke’s nephew moves in, she thinks she might just find a kindred spirit in the town’s newest outcast.
