I think the Sly Cooper games are a really good example of why the PS2 was such a great console for when it came out. We all have our favorites, this one being mine, but I can't express how glad I am to have this series in my physical collection still. There's nothing I can say, that isn't just me gushing over the games, but... I am glad that in small ways, people are still finding these games, playing them, and perhaps even enjoying them.

That's it, honestly. I'm just glad I have good memories and physical copies of a game series that I love.

Edit: I do wish to express that I have yet to play Sly 4 in its entirety. This was mostly due to when it came out I wasn't interested in the PS3 as much.

Sly is too adorable for his own good in this manga.

This design suits him well. (Especially with how bizarre the stories can get.) But I feel like it only works for this manga and this manga alone.

The 'Thievius Raccoonus - Rebound' project sign ups are now LIVE!!

For the past three days I have everyone's favorite lounge lizard Dimitri has slaved away over this very intricately designed cover for the book, but he forgot the most important part! The contents! He's going to need your help!

The book is going to need entries on all (canon) ancestors of Sly Cooper, if enough people sign up to claim all canon ancestors there will be room for original characters as well as 'Honorable Mentions' which are canon characters who have helped the Cooper family in some way, shape or form!

This project needs artists, writers and potentially even some extra moderation, depending on how many people sign up. Sign ups will run for two weeks from today, August 16th to August 30th. There will be a short period for the team to get to know each other and be given templates, guidelines and all other information they need to work on their page(s) and since I am a flexible person, I do not have an end deadline in mind yet as I'd much rather wait and see how large the team will become and what their needs will be.

If this sounds interesting to you: 1. ->You can sign up using this form <- as it contains an invite to the server where it will be hosted, so no need to wait for acceptance! This is an incredibly low bar entry project! It's mostly so you can apply for individual (or mixed) roles!

Sly Cooper zine - interest check!

Hi everyone! I need your help!

I've made a form with some basic questions (as well as a brief intro on what a zine is) and I need as much data as possible so please have a look and share it with friends and people you think might be interested!

This Zine will be free and digitally public to everyone, everything else however is still undecided and I'd love your input! (My current idea can be found below under a Read More)

Current idea (can change depending on demand and feedback!)

Right now, my idea was to sort of recreate the Thievius Raccoons with the community. Meaning every participant creates a page for the book that focusses on a Cooper ancestor, both canon and OC. A family bloodline is more than just from parent to child after all, if there's a distant great uncle you made up that you'd rather draw/write about, then you can!

My one problem right now, is this: THAT'S A LOTTA RACCOONS! So! my solution for that currently is to let the book have 'honorable mentions' of clan and gang members who aren't related to the Coopers, but were involved in a major way, think Bentley, Murray, etc.

Let me know what you think and again, can't stress this enough, share this around! The community is small so I need as many eyes to see this as I possibly can!
