After becoming upset, the magical helpful hands attempt to cheer him up, but a few pets and their first offering didn’t work, so they resort to something more effective!! Ticklesss!! They had to recruit some help :3

A little more about Mirt:

Name: Mirt

Pronouns: he/him

Age: ~160 (A young adult in fae years)

Appearance: Mirt is a tickle monster, so he isn’t quite human! He’s very skinny, equal parts graceful and awkward. He has long rabbitlike ears and a thin, agile tail. His skin is soft and velvety, and has a super fine peach fuzz all over his body.

Personality: Playful, chipper and a little bit flighty. He doesn’t have a genuinely mean bone in his body, and approaches everyone like they’re already his friend. He sometimes has trouble realizing when someone wants to be left alone, and has a hard time taking subtle (or sometimes even obvious) hints that others might be upset with him.

Occupation: Whimsical fae creature

Voice: Mirt has an Aussie accent! (It doesn’t make a lot of sense because Australia doesn’t exist in his world, but… you’re not supposed to think that deeply about it.) He has a soft, gentle, casual-sounding voice.

Quirks: Will juggle whatever he can get his hands on, often dancing and singing along to the music in his head. If he is given any small throwable food to eat, he will try to toss it and catch it in his mouth without fail. He doesn't always actually manage to catch it, though...

Tickle role: Ler “professionally”, but a switch recreationally… in other words, as a tickle monster he feels like it’s his duty to tickle others, but comes to enjoy being tickled too.

Ticklishness (on scale of 1-10): A solid 7. Quite ticklish, but it’s not totally debilitating.

Any special powers or talents? He’s quick, extremely flexible, and has superb balance. His large ears also give him very good hearing, so he’s difficult to sneak up on.

First thing people notice about them: Probably his ears, since they make him look so much taller.

Your favorite thing about them: I love how sweet and open and affectionate he is! Both because it makes him a super comforting character, but also because he helps other more reticent characters open up a little more.

Name: Peet

Pronouns: he/him

Age: ~120 (A young adult in fae years)

Appearance: Peet is a tickle monster, so he isn’t quite human! He’s very short at about 3 and a half feet tall, though the sheer volume of his poofy hair makes him look a little taller. He has four arms and two feathery antennae on his head.

Personality: Chatty and affable, with a tendency to put his foot in his mouth and say a little too much. He considers himself to be very smart, and while he can be quite intelligent he can also be a bit naïve. He has a strong sense of empathy and justice, which combined with his naïveté leaves him vulnerable to unscrupulous characters.

Occupation: Whimsical fae creature

Voice: A very fast talker! Sort of annoying, but also very chirpy and cute.

Quirks: Holds his own hands when he’s anxious. Has absolutely no sense of rhythm whatsoever, cannot dance to save his life.

Tickle role: Ler “professionally”, switch recreationally. Would maybe like to get a little more of a chance to ler, but he’s at a disadvantage as a small cute thing.

Ticklishness (on scale of 1-10): 7 not counting his underarms, but like a 9 if you count his underarms. Which you should.

Any special powers or talents? He can produce a powder in his antennae that, if inhaled, renders the victim dizzy, weak, giggly… and makes them 4x more ticklish. He refuses to use it, considers it cruel and “cheating”.

First thing people notice about them: His hair. It is large!

Your favorite thing about them: He’s just so teeny and cute. I also love a good nerd archetype

Name: Greary

Pronouns: he/him

Age: ~150 (A young adult in fae years)

Appearance: Greary is a tickle monster, so he isn’t quite human! He has a generally dark and drab appearance, with pale gray skin and raven black hair. He dresses sharply in a pinstriped suit, top hat and tattered black cloak.

Personality: A strange bird. He tries very hard to appear serious, grim and proper, but he’s not quite “cool” enough to properly pull it off. He often lets the facade slip when he’s especially flustered, spooked or excited, and reveals that he’s really just sort of an eccentric, neurotic individual.

Occupation: Whimsical fae creature

Voice: Very posh nasally British accent. Will sometimes try to force his voice lower in an attempt to seem more formidable.

Quirks: Loves collecting feathers. Not even because of the whole tickle monster thing, he just loves them. He also writes gloomy poetry, and regularly moves himself to tears doing so.

Tickle role: Ler “professionally”, lee-leaning switch recreationally. As a tickle monster he naturally likes to tickle others, but he craves being tickled once he gets a taste.

Ticklishness (on scale of 1-10): 8— pretty darn ticklish all over

Any special powers or talents? He can summon ghostly hands to assist him in tickling, and often has them floating around him. They can also be used to assist in everyday tasks.

First thing people notice about them: His flashy wardrobe.

Your favorite thing about them: The concept of a serious gloomy tickle monster is very cute to me 😌
