Ramadan Kareem is all about prayers and fasting, doing stuff to please our lord but with all that comes food spreads. I had been craving steak for quite sometime now, so while at Dolmen Mall I decided to give @gunsmokesteakhouse a shot. I ordered Italian Chicken Steak which was marinated in the perfect blend of spices topped with pepperoni and cheese, served with a side of creamy mashed potatoes. Loved every bit of it, it's very rare that I finish up my meals on my own. I ordered Naanwich from @chachajeepk in the flavour Reshmi Kabab and to my extreme disappointment it was not at all worth it. While it could have been so much better, it lacked basic spices and was just too bland. The naan was also not at all soft, instead it was quite chewy and clearly indicated that it wasn't fresh. 'Bandhan' discussed stereotypes related to marriage and society that don't really get much highlight, sharing some of the pointers I really liked: · 1. Rejection hurts. When you reject a girl or a guy on basis of kala, mota, chota you hurt their feelings and it's totally not acceptable. · 2. Rishta sirf larky waly nae larki waly bhi le ker ja skty hain and while it's not something that happens in our culture, it's totally possible according to Islam. · 3. Kindly keep your nose out of other people's businesses. Apka muft mashwara kisi ko nae chaiye hota, so please stop telling other people what to do and what not to. · 4. The most common dialogue all of us have been hearing all our lives is that susraal he asal ghar hota hai, which also means that the saas, sussar are your new mom & dad now. But all of this applies only for LARKI KA SUSRAAL. The drama talks about how the men can also call their saas, sussar Ammi, Abbu and have some responsibilities towards their susraals. · 5. A girl can leave her house to come and live with the husband's parents and family but even for a few days men going over and staying in their susraals is never considered as an option. The drama discusses how it's totally acceptable and possible. _ Have you seen this one? I just loved the first part, the chemistry between @zahid.ahmed.official & @yumnazaidiofficial was absolutely brilliant. These cheese fries are new on the menu of @californiapizza.pk and as soon as my eyes landed on this I knew what would my first item of the order would be. Just randomly going through old pictures I found this. My first ever dhaba experience at @sufi_ka_dhaba and it occurred to me how simple life used to be, how tiny things would mean the world back then and how much has changed over time.😌 During the university days it was some kind of a ritual to always celebrate the good weather days with food, this was one of those days. The other day I came across a girl questioning if my husband gave me any gifts before we got married because apparently the girl had got nikkahfied and was expecting a gift from her husband or maybe trying to compare it from the one she already got.
