I have a 2 year degree but it’s a bit useless cause I was kinda dicking around and not settling on a major, so it’s probably at least 3 years. The first ~2 years I would not have to take out loans due to having free tuition set up at the university I’m most likely to go to and a moderately rich and generous dad. I’m unlikely to enjoy it per se because school has been pretty anxiety inducing for me in the past but I’m hoping it would at least be more fulfilling/rewarding than my current NEET situation, especially since I have a course of study in mind that really interests me. Career prospects for said course of study are uncertain, I’m planning to talk to a career counselor soon to figure that out (I want to learn Russian and specialize in Russia, possibly with a poli sci major? Again I need to talk to the career counselor.)

Should I go back to school to finish my bachelor’s? I realize you are not an advice blog but I think it would be fun if you were so I’m encouraging it.

well. it depends a lot on your situation. if you have like, a year left, probably yes in most cases. if you have like 3 years left its a lot dicier. like if you would have to take out large loans probably not....small loans maybe. and it depends on the degree. if you wouldnt have to take appreciable laons and you'd enjoy it probably wortwhile. if you wouldnt enjoy it and its not something unambiguously lucrative probably not worthwhile.

Dostoevsky Groupwriting Challenge

The idea of a Dostoevsky Groupwriting Challenge that I have proposed in another post has resonated with some people. I have put all the submissions for a theme into a random wheel, and the prompt for this challenge is the word

Feast

Now, the goal is to write a fanfiction about any work of Dostoevsky, using the prompt Feast. Any of Dostoevsky's books are okay, use of OCs is okay, any interpretation of canon is okay, basically anything goes. I have created a collection on ao3 and would ask you all to post to it:

The thing about writing dialogue for Porfiry Petrovich is that it Needs More Words. You may think there are enough, but there aren’t. He must have at least 5 unnecessary words per 1 useful word.
