I just saw a post talking about how funny it would be if Zoro told everyone else about how Luffy recruited him, and I meant to reblog but my internet crashed out and now I can’t find it again.

Anyway I can’t stop thinking about it because it really would be so funny. Because unlike almost everyone else, Zoro’s recruitment was literally just extortion. The only ones who wouldn’t be shocked are Robin and Franky, because Franky’s recruitment involved ball crushing and Robin was the one doing the crushing.

But yeah I can just picture Zoro blushing while describing his recruitment like “Yeah he told me I could either join him or he’d let the marines kill me” while everyone stares at him and Luffy in fascination and horror.

Zoro being like “And then I called him the son of the devil” with the most lovestruck look on his face. Usopp probably being like “Are you okay? Do you have Stockholm syndrome? Blink twice if you need help.” And Luffy just giggling the whole time Zoro tells the story.
