Just fought the Champion in Violet. I have spent a whole game being told this woman is the absolute tits, the greatest of warriors, the impossible white whale of Pokémon battling, and I KNOW it's always easy to beat them if you go in over-levelled, but...

Fuck me she's terrible at this. What appalling decisions. She has one Pokémon whose ability means it gets more defence boosts on entry when more of its teammates have died. That should be your final Pokémon, right?? The last one you whip out, so it gets an immediate five boosts to its defences before a single turn has gone by. What an amazing ability!

You know what she did send out last?

A Pokémon whose ability is that they scatter poison spikes around you each time you hit it. This does not affect the Pokémon you have out. This affects the Pokémon you bring in next.
