More about Meru!!!

Meru actually appears way before the champions are chosen, much like Terrako does in AoC. But,instead of droppingnin Hyrule Field, Meru drops in the Hebra mountains near Rito Village where they choose both to stay in Rito Village and help around.

I'd like to think Meru either stays in the Rito Stable and happily works there and helps the Rito out with food and stuff or they stay in the Inn. Leaning more heavily to the Stable because Meru does have a horse by the name of Rev.

They have definitely seen the princess and her knight and her aide!!! Definitely got very hard deja vu the first time. Meru doesnt even try to interect with anyone related to the princess with the vague fear of being pulled to the castle the moment someone discovers they can see the future.

When the time does come for that, Meru is definitely not a happy camper because they're kind of forced under the king's orders to either verbally recall to both the king, his court and the princess and her knight what is to come or happen but Meru finds a loophole because Terrako. Although it also only solidifies what's to come, so it's a bit of a 50/50 shot.

They're around 16!! A few months younger than the princess and her knight. Meru tries to not think about the Spring of Wisdom too much. Being a seer, I'd imagine it means also having to pray to Goddess Hylia for better visions or, preferably though limited to, things hopefully changing.

I'm open to any questions and other stuff for Meru!! Dont be shy!!!

This is meru. Meru was essentially dragged into pre calamity Hyrule, shes like, fairly younger than Zelda,Link and Revali.

She is considered a prophet due to her extensive knowledge of what is supposed and going to happen. She doesn't like,correct them bc in the knowledge aspect, Zelda and the King are not wrong. But she diesnt entirely enjoy the title.

Meru, being from a different world, does not have long pointy ears, (which,side note, I noticed that since the Era of Founding when Zelda is thrown back in time in TOTK, Sonia has longer ears than the normal hylian that we see which could mean as the years went on,their ears got smaller.) Meru has regular, small rounded ears. She also has a ring!! Silver with the Triforce and Hyrulan royal family symbol on it but it's mostly just a nice piece of merch in some way.

Still working the design for her outfit for being a prophet, but I'd like to think she has white robes with the triforce at the ends of the big sleeves.

Meru does realize after a few days that shes in AoC but is more leaning of a hysterical breakdown because she kind of wants to go home (spoiler, she is entirely unable to and proceeds to begrudgingly live in one if the cabins up in hebra.)

why do i keep seeing whole videos on advice for artfight from “veterans” or whatever. here’s all the advice you need:

you don’t need to draw every day

you don’t need to fully render every drawing, sketches still count and the person receiving it will still love it

you don’t need a fully polished ref sheet for every single character, having a basic one or even just a colour palette along with whatever other art you’ve done works fine in most cases

you don’t need to draw a fully rendered piece every single day do not burn yourself out or injure yourself for funny little internet points good lord

I'm normal trust. But!! I have stuff about Kumo!!

Kumo is from class 1-B! She transfers onto 1A when Pony comes though and is honestly (reasonably) floored by the Chaos and trauma 1A goes through.

Her older sister is an ungrounded pro hero!! I'll spill more on her later hehehe.

Kumo's sleeves actually hold a bunch of materials for her to draw with,so do the pouches on her waist. She has billowing sleeves because it covers what shes grabbing and what shes drawing.

Her hero name is Sketch!

But yes! This is somewhat I had in mind for Kumo!! You're so in detail, I love the theories and ideas hahah-

Thanks to the fact her quirk relies heavily not only her ability to draw/write but also the amount of energy she puts into her work! Think of it as an artist spending a lot of time and effort into a piece so the finish product is something that they seem perfect because they took their time with every detail. Applying this to Kumo, The more time spent around detailing to the T, the more power and longer the creation can stay and move! (Although this comes with the issue of dire needs, in which case, you have to rush and go. Or have something finished on hand.)

Another thing with Kumo's quirk is touching the drawing doesnt mean just her hands, it means any part of her body can hit it. But she mostly uses her hands because it's faster to slap something and run when a villain is chasing you down,yk.

Adding onto your drawback and mutations!! I kind of picture the creativity drive like a manic episode, the higher serotonin levels, the harder the crash. The higher the creativity, the harder the art or writers block kumo faces. Not to mention the fact she has a little bit more mobility in her neck and back because shes constantly looking down and hunched. I totally agree with the vision aspect!!

And the slime dog is Kumo's favorite drawing to bring to life!! His name is Frog. I'm glad you're interested in her! The matching last name with Hizashi was on accident, I didnt realize until halfway of making Kumo LMAO
