so my current masterlist wip is about 60 links strong but i have at least 30 prompts left in my inbox. bruh, when the wip gets full ill have to start a new one with a few prompts left over which bugs me so much

Are you still doing single character asks?

Whenever I’m online yes ;). I get to the single character stuff first when I start writing

how would ht,uf, and ut brothers react to their crush making something like lunch for them and accidentally burning them sleds with water. Nothing too serious. But crush has sensitive skin, so it feels horrible.

Sans: big oof. Sans hears his crush’s shriek in the kitchen and the first thing he does is shortcut in. Seeing the burn on their arm, sans can tell it’s not life threatening, just really painful. He hisses at the sight as he walks over to inspect it. Yea that sucks. It’s a real pain. It’s really fowl..

Crush hears the slight change in his voice with dawning horror at what they know is coming.

“Water you doing?? You dew know you aren’t supposed to pour towards you (crush)~ the waters real pot! If you just wanted to tide yourself over I could’ve-“

Crush is so disgusted at the bad jokes that they hadn’t even realized the pains disappeared yet. Sans pulled a quick heal job during his verbal crime against comedy

Papyrus: like the charismatic heroic prince of a fairy tale- just before the hot water splashes crush, papyrus scoops them up in his arms out of the waters reach…. Then screeches something awful. He’s wearing his booty shorts again, meaning his legs are exposed. Poor paps knee has been burned by boiling water

“ARE YOU OK- OH F*CKING SH*T THAT HURTS-“

The pain didn’t hit him until a few seconds later clearly. Better get him an ice pack.

Red: when crush yelps, red shortcuts into the kitchen rapidly with all the focus of a well trained attack dog. His frantic entrance is so surprising crush briefly forgets the pain and instead looks at red wide eyed. Thinking it’s nothing serious because of that reaction, he flushes in embarrassment.

“T’ hell is that look for, I can’t be f*ckin worried?”

Oh right, he came in cause he heard crush’s cry. Aaand now they’re tearing up as the pain registers again. Reds eyes widen and he makes crush put their arm under running cold water.

Edge: like he’d let anyone cook alone. Even if it’s not his kitchen, edge insists on seeing the process of the food being made. Especially if he has to eat it. He has high standards after all. The second crush even motions to pour the pot of water into the strainer- towards themself- the audacity!!- edge grabs their wrists stopping them.

“HAVE YOU LEARNED NOTHING?? NO WONDER YOU ALWAYS BURN YOURSELF WHEN YOU COOK-“

And now crush is oh so generously gifted with a lecture on kitchen safety. Edge has effectively taken over the rest of the cooking for the night.

Oak: when crush yelps, oak doesn’t immediately react as the sound didn’t quite register right away. It’s only when he hears his crushs sniffles in the kitchen that he senses something is wrong. Walking inside, oaks eyes widen at the pot of spilled hot pasta, and his crush holding their hand. With a lot of restraint, oak ignores the wasted food to check and make sure crush is alright

“Oh geez, that’s painful looking buns, lemme get you some ice”

He does come back with the ice, but is stunned all over again when he sees pasta on the floor, asking if SO spilled it, like that isn’t obvious lol

Willow: “NOOOOOOOOOOOO THE STOVES STILL ON-“

It’s like a slow-mo scene in a movie where the hero attempts to stop someone from making a stupid decision but it’s obvious to the viewers that they’re too far away lol. Willow stretches out his hand, but despite the impressive length of his arms, he’s still too far to stop crush from trying to snatch a taste test of the steamed buns on the pan. The very very hot buns on the pan. Crush shrieks as their fingertips burn, and finally willow reaches them, snatching their hand away

“STARS ARE YOU ALRIGHT- I SAID THEY WEREN’T DONE!!”

lol he’s clearly caught in a war between worry and annoyance. This is why you don’t sneak taste tests before the food is ready!

Skele ends up in a long term with an inhumanly attractive S/O, that while looking completely human just seems….supernatural. After years of this relationship, they just wake up in an island paradise. The S/o reveals that their in Tìr nan Òg, a supernatural island paradise of everlasting youth, beauty, health, abundance and joy. The inhabitants engage in poetry, music, entertainment, and the feast of Goibniu, which grants immortality to the participants. The S/o reveals their father is the king of this land and offers to take the Skele (and the skele’s family) here whenever they want or even take residence on the island forever. How do they react? ( this is based off a folktale)

Yeah, the Vila!S/O flies him into the sky to meet their family. But once they reach their destination, he’s gonna get to relax in their magnificent palace in these sky (Vila live in full on castles ; servants and everything)

Oh he fits right in. The family wonders if mal was a vila in his past life with how easily he gets used to the pampered life lol

After skele rocks his s/o's world in the bedroom, and he/she follows them around like a puppy with dreamy eyes, nuzzles and constant little touches

Sans: well sans is well known for not being a high energy monster. There isn’t much to follow since normally he conks out once he and SO finish lol. SO can get their nuzzles in through a cuddly nap. If he’s somehow still awake and gets to see SOs dreamy eyes, you’ll have quite the bashful bonefriend on your hands.

Papyrus: honestly same. Papyrus gets some serious post nut bouts of affection as well and will be equally nuzzly with his beautiful sexy thoughtful cuddly great smelling datemate! He’s chatty, and as SO follows him around, he’s singing their praises

Oak: oh he’s gone. Doing the horizontal tango with his SO works better on oak than any sleeping pill ever could. This boy is deep into slumberland right now. But there is a silver lining, oak tends to hold onto things in his sleep. Usually it’s just the blankets, but if SO positions themselves right, they’ll get to be a very comfy little spoon.

Red: yall red is a total horn dog. If SOs gonna give him all that affection right after the nasty, you can guarentee he’s aiming for a round 2. Or maybe a round 3 if SO can handle it ;). ….. no round 4. He’s not Superman lol. After that round 3 red is pretty much in the same state as SO now.

Edge: oh this strokes his ego so much. He’s preening at the proof that edge is the best lover! Of course his SO keeps sending him those loving looks! He did his datemately duty of making their life even better! He deserves a reward! Edge demands more nuzzles!

Rust: sadly he doesn’t have the stamina of his non-famine counterpart. Rust goes in for a brief round 2 and is pretty much done with life for the day. SO now has a tired and slightly achy, but affectionate and pleased datemate. At least with how sweet SO is, he’s sure he’s doing a good job.

Noir: oh he’s glad SO is so easy to read afterwards. With his limited.. mobility, sometimes he worries he doesn’t do enough to please them. A SO like this is very reassuring for noir. He indulges their nuzzles with lots of smooches in return.

Wine: and rock SOs world he did. Wine is one of the rougher skeletons in bed, so he’s rather impressed SO isn’t taking a snooze right now. He did give them a workout after all lol. Wine goes about his day with a soft smile, enjoying SOs antics. Sometimes when things are quiet, he’ll give SO a smooch and a teasing promise for more later ;)

Coffee: oh jeez, you’re killing him SO! The easiest way to turn coffee on is through praise or attention. He likes having his ego stroked lol. Coffee is so frustrated right now, and wishing he was a lust monster so he could act on what he wants to do again. Alas though! He’s been through exhausted for the day! He’ll have to settle with a lot of aggressive smooches until SO gets their brains back.

Mal has a Vila! S/0 (basically Slavic fae, nature spirits who live in the clouds, are masters of archery, and can cure any disease among many other things; they also have wings ) and said S/O flies him into the sky to meet their family (Vila live in castles, in the sky btw) how do things go?

Oh SO is flying mal themselves? Like with mal in their arms? You better be ready for this damsel in distress to be GRIPPING your shoulders. Mal isn’t scared of heights in particular, but he’s definitely never been this high up. He trusts SO, but he definitely doesn’t trust the ground. Every gust of wind makes his claws dig in just a little more, and he doesn’t even realize he’s doing it lol. If SO is smart, they’ll wear a thick jacket for the flight.

Are the skeleton monster’s bones as strong as normal human bones? And if they break a limb, does it repair itself like a human arm or leg would?

No actually. Skeleton monster bones are slightly less load bearing than human ones, but they make up for that by being a bit more flexible making them safer from fall damage, so hairline fractures take more force to happen than a humans bones need. But without their magic to cushion and take some of the load, a skeleton monster can’t lift as much as a human safely.

When any bone breaks, it will begin the process of dusting unless another monster is fast enough to seal the crack with healing magic. This onky happens for a full break where part of the bone is completely removed from the body. For cracks, they heal slowly, taking weeks and are incredibly painful. But it’s recommended to let the bone heal naturally so that it doesn’t calcify making movement harder later on.

How smooshable are skeleton faces?

So the skeleton monsters face is actually quite malleable! While it doesn’t have quite as much squish as a humans face, it is movable enough for these monsters to make expressions. The softest parts of the skull are the eye sockets, jaws and cheekbones. In fact, the skull is considered the softest exterior part of the skeleton monster besides the inner edges of the ribs. It’s why wounds on the face of the skull scar much easier than the rest of the body

So Snipe has a daughter and said daughter dies before her wedding day (someone with a grudge snuck some something in her food, so she eventually passed out and drowned in the bathtub or something) how does he react?

He kills them

Rosie loves oak's chickens. Ann asks Oak to teach her all he knows about raising chickens! It's a good skill to learn.

Awww he’ll totally do that. It’s good for kids to learn how to take care of animals

He’s more curious about SOs past for sure, and how being a selkie works. And he starts calling his SO fish stick (lovingly) lol
