I unexpectedly got asked out to go to old town Clovis today, so last day of the rp event will actually be tomorrow (Sunday)! ❤️❤️

Alrighty y’all!! This week is the

✨FREEDOM FESTIVAL✨

Prepare for a weekend of fun as y’all roleplay the festival with your favorite skeletons!

Activities include:

Shopping of course! Lots of craft, food and cultural stalls will be at the festival naturally. It’s not a proper fair without them!

A mobile natural history museum! Ebotts underground residents have put together a wonderful indoor museum hosting lots of the underground flora and rocks on display for all to check out! Thank the Merlin coven for this feat!

Lots of fair games! There will be the classic games like throwing rings, knocking over cups and others of course, and there will be a few surprise new games littered around!

The beach! This festival is once again being held in Portland, so will be mostly along the shore and docks of the city. There will be some organize beach games including a beach valley ball tournament and a wrestling tournament.

Fashion contest! Earlier in the festival, a fashion contest will be held where boutiques will compete in a couple of categories with their designs!

Fireworks show: at the very end of the festival, a fireworks show will sound! Get ready for some noise

And of course the most important activity of all….

THE FREEDOM DUELS~

The freedom duels will once again be hosted! At the edge of the festival is the Pearl stadium, a hadal accessible dueling stadium where fans can watch the matches taking place all week! Only registered trained duelists are allowed to compete, and this year there’s a twist…

All matches are going to be team based! Each new match the duelist will get a randomly chosen teammate from whoever’s left on the lineup! And there will be two first place winners this year for the top performing duo! The theme of this festival is unity, hence the new rules!

The presiding (available to rp with) royals for this festival are Medusa , Snapper, Provence and pioneer.

If you’re on anon, give yourself some sort of identifier each ask so I don’t get you confused with the others. An emoji or name at the end of it works perfect!

Those who are completing weddings are welcome to finish those rps during the event!

When starting your rp, unless you state which character you see/are meeting, I will roll a wheel and give you a random interaction.

Ann and Wist catch up, and Ann ends up really liking this Compass fellow. He is good for Wist. She was worried Wist would end up with someone who enables her crazy. They're really cute together too! Seeing how on edge her husband is, Ann wraps up this little get together. Rusty clearly needs some family alone time. Ann: Well, we need to go have lunch and feed these kids. I'm sure we'll see you at the fireworks show, guys!

Making some goodbyes, you head with rust to the area where every one is sitting down for the fireworks. They’re gonna do them over the ocean, fired from some ship, so the prime spots are all on the beach

Every one is snatching up sparklers as the day starts to darken. Ida was smart and bought a pack earlier. But it’s still fun to really get a good look at all the light up toys on display.

One skeleton in particular is surrounded by kids yelling in delight as he twirls two glow sticks expertly in his hands, creating a bunch of neat flashy patterns

Nicky kisses honey. "Hey, it's not your fault, we understand you're worried, I remember how you were when I was pregnant with Ozzy" she caresses his arm. "But it's not only you who's worried about salt, y'know? I'm also worrying over him and making sure he's okay, you're not alone on this baby" she assured honey, they're engaged, they're a team, it's not just one who tries, all of them do

And Nicky did carry salt sometimes where he needed it, or he just wanted to be in Nicky's arms lol. But Nicky carrying him did help with the tiredness of being that big, Ozzy loves the sight of Nicky carrying his dad's lol

Ehehe, salt did try to get out of being carried, but winds up quite enjoying it when he realizes Nicky has no issue lifting him. Guess baby bones aren’t adding that much weight.

But as the day goes by, he takes breaks more often, clearly struggling to keep up.

Star: HEY SALT, HAVE SOME OF THIS.

Honey immediately snatches the drink out of stars hands to inspect before letting it go to salt lol. It’s just a VERY sugary fruit smoothie. Maybe not the healthiest, but it won’t hurt him.

Salt: oh hell yes~

He’s exhausted now and will enjoy the bit of energy the sugar gives him. It’s almost time for the fireworks and he had been looking forward to this all day. His soul is pounding so hard it feels like it’ll burst out of his ribcage.

He sighs at the ask about changing his scent and shakes his head no.

He looks tired but super excited when you approach him. Two arena nurses are patching up some burns on his tail from his fall when he ended the vortex. Oof, guess some of the boiling water hit him after all

Silex: OH IM FINE! YOU HAVE AMAZING CONTROL KATANA!

Jumping back into the pools, silex follows you through the water channels into the resting tent where athletes go in between matches. You have an hour or so now until your next fight.

Already waiting, you hear a familiar scream and you find your arms full of your lovely soulmate sparks

Sparks: YOU WERE SO HOT OUT THERE!!! AAAAA-

Akira isn’t with him, but you aren’t worried. She’s probably with lush and kei at the moment. Kids aren’t allowed in the back like this after all.

Seeing silex, sparks straightens a little, but he is too bouncy to really be respectful

Darlin caught the tension in both Rust an Ann. Shes no fool. But she keeps up her smiles an wraps an arm around Snipe while they exit the museum, pickin up their inventory on the way out.

She gives a small look ta Snipe, given him a reassurin squeeze as Berlin raves about the museum.

The trio walk for a bit before approachin where the fightin ring is at this year. They don' have ta look for too long as they hear a loud-

Theo: KICK HIS ASS!!!

Butch: f*ck him up!!!!!!

Butch has Theo on his shoulders as they cheer on a sweaty mud golem and skeleton in the wrestling ring.

….. skeleton??

Yep that is in fact a skeleton wrestling a golem. He has the golems head in a lock between his thighs and the golem looks like they’re actually struggling to break free.

"Ah yes, people who like to meddle with ones love life. You agree to one blind date and get stood up because the guy meets a girl at the library and seems to forget he had a blind date. Yeah, it was fun sitting there for two hours while the staff gave me looks of pitty, hey at least I got a free cupcake out of it." I shake my head and sigh. "Sorry that was uncalled for. Anyway..." I get interrupted by some commotion a few stalls down.

"GET BACK HERE YOU DAMN BIRD!"

My expression falls and I groan. "Oh for fudge's sake... again?"

A raven comes flying into my stall, landing on my shoulder. She's wearing a necklace with a pink quartz pendant on it. She caws proudly but then spots Oak and ruffles her feathers before she flies over to his shoulder, making cute raven noises at him. She's a magic raven.

"I thought we had come to an agreement about not stealing shiny things this time...." I mumble in resignation as I get out my wallet, knowing I'll have to pay for that pendant. The raven seems to huff and roll her eyes at me like I should have expected this to happen. I narrow my eyes at her but she ignores me.

The raven pecks at oaks nose ridge affectionately and he absentmindedly scratches her chest. Oak is so used to animals interacting with him that he doesn’t even think about petting her

Willow: OH BOY NYEHEHE, IS SHE MAGIC?

Bay notices a twinkle of approval in Sea's gaze. Seems like she had succeded a test somehow.

Alright. First, let's trap that pesky bug. To buy some time.

Many of the rocks shoot themselves at the mage, trapping her inside a sphere. Sea then conjures a yellow wall all around it.

Not my strongest spells, but that ought to stop her for a minute or so. Now... this guy.

"This guy" managed to rip one of Sea's trees from its roots and launch it at them. Which Sea dodged as she took Bay in her arms.

You took quite the hit, so I will be the bait. I turn the floor into lava, scorching him, and get in his range to throw hands at him.

What you will do is poison him on his wounds with your tentacles. I won't let him get near any of the remaining ponds. You have 4 seconds to ask any questions before I launch you to a nearby tree

That golem was a problem for sure lol

Bay: g-got it! Let’s go!!

Message received. Sea begins her decent as she launches bay to said tree. Unfortunately the golem hadal takes another shot at bay, launching a boulder this time. Sea manages to block most of it, but shrapnel from the boulder clearly clips bay as she falls into the tree.

Sea does in fact transfigure the floor to lava when she lands, and the hissing golem hadal takes another roses to the surface of the water as fast as he can. Sea is now dodging steaming punches from the hadal. In addition to his normal arms and torsos, his tail has lobster claws giving him an extra set of arms to strike out with. The blindness seems to have worn off as his hits are scarily accurate.

Any moment now… sea needs those tentacles!

Ellie: Your right, but hanging around yall was the best fun I’ve had in a while. Y’all’s antics are funny.

She really was having a good time! Even with the work she has to go back to, she was glad that she met these skeletons today.
