hi guys its cyan. hate to do it but on may 29th i got into a car accident where the other party did a hit & run. my car has been rendered undriveable at the moment. im still waiting for calls back on whether or not theyve identified the other driver / what insurance wants from me so that i can proceed with getting an estimate on my car / etc etc. pics of the damage to contextualize the situation at hand here:

currently im just worried about getting my girlfriend to work & back because i was our only source of transportation / our public transport can be unreliable, as well as starting to save up for a new car when we are already scraping by living paycheck to paycheck. i dont really have a goal that im trying to meet per se yet, but i would appreciate if anyone is willing to chip in to help me out:

So Ncuti Gatwa only got to have about 18 episodes of the show; didn't get to have a Dalek, Cybermen, or Master story, the big mainstays of the franchise; had to share his introduction with David Tennant, and now (despite how much I loved seeing her again) his exit too with Jodie Whittaker; and is now sandwiched between Tennant and Billie Piper.

asking for help

My partner Courtney’s dad passed away a couple of days ago. We’re now needing to get back to Kansas this week so we can arrange and attend his funeral service, as well as retrieve the last of the belongings he left for Courtney. I know we very recently asked for help regarding this situation, but after many long weeks of family drama and hostility (putting it mildly), we need to go back to take care of these final few things. We’ve gone into some significant credit card debt in the name of trying to handle all of this over the last month, as Courtney has lived in Florida with me for over ten years and could only go home once very recently after her dad’s cancer diagnosis. Now that he’s passed away, we would be so grateful for any help you guys might be able to spare so that we could safely and securely make the return trip and use what time we have available to grieve and be with the family members that Courtney has been unable to see for more than a decade.

please do not feel obligated to help with this, we don’t want anybody to feel pressured at all. we’re grateful for anything you can spare.

Help my family survive and start a new life

Hello everyone, thank you for taking a moment to read our story.

I am Hazem Shawish, and I am trying to save my family from this war.

We live in Gaza, where we face significant challenges due to the current situation.

My family consists of 11 members, including my mother, two daughters, four sons, and three children.

In the shadow of conflict, our family has faced unimaginable hardships. The passing of my father, a victim to the cruel grasp of hunger and inadequate healthcare, left a void in our lives, underscoring the fragility of our existence here. My brother, Samer, battles bipolar disorder, a condition exacerbated by the ongoing war and the severe shortage of essential medications. Without access to the necessary treatment, his life is at risk, and we live in constant fear for his well-being amidst the chaos that surrounds us. These personal tragedies have deepened the urgency of our situation.

Every day is a struggle for survival, and each night is filled with prayers for a brighter tomorrow. We hold onto hope, believing that one day the clouds will dissipate, and we will find the peace we long for.

Our home, which was a sanctuary for us, was destroyed, forcing us to live in a state of uncertainty and fear. We have lost the laughter of our children.

We also face psychological challenges, as we have lost our father, and my brother Samer, who needs expensive medical treatment, is facing imminent danger. My mother, who has endured so much, fears losing another child. We are all suffering from malnutrition and contaminated water.

We dream of moving to Egypt to find safety, where our children can pursue their education.

We seek your support as individuals who understand the value of compassion and community.
