Do not be afraid to step away from the writing and quiet rooms of thought in exchange for the simple pleasures and mundane experiences that, if we are brave enough to be honest with ourselves, are what fill our cup in the long haul. Robin era Jason, who's going after the Riddler with Batman, and one of the Riddles is some kind of literary reference, so Jason solves it easily but when he gets to the location the riddle hinted at, it's wrong????

And it haunts him the whole time until they finally catch the Riddler and Jason gets to ask him about it before he gets locked up again, and turns out the Riddler just confused two diffrent barely similar quotes or something.

And Jason LOSES HIS MIND.

We all agree that The Gang ™ were all theater kids right?? We know Dee did theater, Charlie probably did backstage stuff because of the stage fright, (and the illiteracy lol) Dennis always auditioned for the leads (with varying levels of success) and was involved with all of the backstage drama, Mac never wanted to do theater because it was gay or whatever, but Dennis convinced him that girls liked theater guys and then he fell in love with it Do you see the vision ?????

Diggin through the tapes:

I was listening to Beat the Champ with a friend of mine this past weekend. he had never heard it before. he was a huge wrestling fan so I thought he'd get a kick out of it. and he did.

one thing he said got me digging through bootlegs. he said that he bets Foreign Object has immaculate vibes live. so, I went looking for some of my favourite live versions.

first, here's the one that sent me on this mess this week, my favourite version of Foreign Object recorded on 2018-04-22 at Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, PA.

and my friend was right, the vibes are wonderful.

The second track I wanna share with you folks is this wonderful full-band version of The Best Ever Death Metal band Out of Denton it's not slower, but it feels slower. the piano is a little hard to hear in the mix, but damn the band goes hard and the crowd is wonderful.

the third and final track I wanna share is a version of Idylls of the King from this past December. As of writing, it is the most recent show. Wurster is going hard here and it's just beautiful.
