I usually am never cursed with taking an interest in characters who barely show up

key word being usually because I recently watched k-pop demon hunters and I ADORE Baby saja even though he only has one spoken line 😭

I love characters that are portrayed to be nice and innocent but who are actually a sassy piece of shit!! and that one scene where one of the others (i think its Abby after watching it too many times) gives him a piggyback ride as they all leave the play games with us show just made me find him really funny lol. plus his rap verses are SO good, especially in soda pop.

If you asked me who my favourite character in the movie is I’d probably say Jinu or Rumi but I just think Baby saja is neat

…yeahh. I love zucker but I really want both bones and pecan on my island and he was one of the two villagers I was willing to expend for that. still sad though lol, even though I did make him a vacation home on the dlc so I’ll still be able to see him like I did with jakey.

(and also, before anyone asks, no you can’t take him. I considered posting him to a subreddit but if any of my villagers dont go to the void I’d want them to be on a friends island)

I’m a diehard guitarspear fan but occasionally I’ll think about the potential dynamic between Lute and Charlie and go “hm… but what if they were bi for eachother…”

which is weird because a) I’m not really a chaggie shipper?? Vaggie and Lute are kind of the same person with a different font so idk whats happening there. I also heavily dislike emilute even though Emily and Charlie are also mirror images of each other 😭 and b) I have never considered myself a multishipper. like, ever.

guitarspear is still obviously my favourite but I can’t deny that I think that Lute would have a one-sided sorta crush on Charlie at least, under the circumstances that she eventually warms up to her more (still a pretty shitty person though, theres basically nothing Charlie can do to fix that lol.)

I also like Vaggie x Emily for some reason LMFAO. maybe because I don’t really care for either character (sorry Vaggie fans, she’s cool as a concept, but my god did her writing feel kinda flat to me during the actual show, with her supposed main point for development of being “out for love” being something she was… already doing since episode 1. I don’t dislike her, I’m just kinda indifferent), but yeah. I don’t love them but I think the versions I’ve made for them in my 1920s au stuff, who are both pretty major characters despite me not really liking either of them in the actual show, are pretty fun to imagine as a couple, so there you are I guess.

fuckkk i’ve got a 6th fanfic idea

all because i decided to pick up animal crossing again after 2 years and thought “hmmm… what if they were human though?” and thus, a new ship was born, for some reason 😭

been obsessively catching fish and bugs for the last few days instead of, you know, actually writing the hazbin hotel fanfic idea i’ve had since at least january, but at least something has come from it? i guess? might share some sketches of my ideas for my humanized villagers here though eventually lol

how i feel juggling around 4 fic ideas and a potential 5th whilst i’m supposed to be really busy 😭

one is a concept i’ve had for over a year, one is a spin off of that concept, one is just a random oneshot concept i got whilst reading someone elses fanfic, one is a loose story idea because i got fixated on two characters and want to write something with them and don’t know what, and one i do actually have planned and partially written. oh and they’re all for different fandoms except the first two. yayyyy.

1920s guitarspear WILL be happening at some point though (which i know i’ve said a lot over the past few months but i still mean it), i just gotta find the motivation to actually finish writing the first chapter somewhere. the fic is mostly planned out and i have loosely written other major scenes i plan on including though so we’re getting there!! i will also make art for them over the next few days to really get myself back into it :D

hi random rant time (this isn’t directed at anyone in particular and I’m not actually too annoyed about this I just see it a lot)

me when I see a hate post of a ship tagged with the tag for the ship

idk I just don’t want to see it? like if I’m actively searching for the ship tag and am receiving posts with that tag and engaging with them its because I like the ship, I don’t wanna see petty arguments about it I just want to see cool fan art 😭 but tbf this might just be a me thing. It did also happen to me back before I deleted twitter as well though like. I’m sorry that I don’t want to see your reasons as to why my ship is suddenly somehow immoral and ooc and shouldn’t be shipped in my feed (if I had a nickel every time I’ve been told that for a ship that is completely fine and in some cases also canon, I’d have 3 nickels) and I do see stuff like this more on tiktok than anywhere else but tiktok is just a cesspit of negativity at this point. you go on any ship video and theres some random person in the comments going “oh uh actually I see these guys more as friends” like… okay? cool? I respect that opinion but what are you genuinely hoping to achieve out of commenting then? I see ship posts on my feed that I also think work better platonically but I do have the option to just scroll? and block the tag if I really feel like it? again I’m not all that annoyed by it but it gets to a point where it’s just kinda tiring.

anyways also thank you Vivziepop for FINALLY freeing guitarspear shippers from the constant “they’re related actually!!” that I see everywhere (and I mean genuinely everywhere, I’ve gotten into arguments about it on pinterest of all places.)

so, uh, a draft on ao3 has been made and a google document has also been created for brainstorming just cliché highschool modern au tropes. help.

also i’m realising that if i were to do this absolutely nobody would understand how the school system works because i dont understand any school systems outside of the scottish one 😭 (yes, scotland has a different system to the rest of the UK, i couldn’t tell you why but that’s how it is.)

Hi!! I promise I am LOL

I got hit by a truckload of anxiety in mid-february that’s still taking some time to fully go away, and that kind of brought me out of my guitarspear obsession for a bit, but I should get back to writing it soon ^^

I have the first chapter planned out and partially written, and should hopefully get into finishing the actual full proper plan for the whole fic soon, but I have the basic layout of how I want it to go already stored in my head, it’s just finding that bit of motivation to write it down again. It WILL happen though, I’ve had far too many fic ideas that I’ve just let fester and die and I really don’t want this to be one of them.

I should probably really crank out more sketches of them (and the other characters I’m planning to add) to get me back into thinking about them though, I always find that easier than writing :D

nothing beats the feeling of mindlessly doodling your characters on a random sheet of paper, deciding to glance over what you’ve drawn, seeing two characters next to eachother and randomly thinking “huh, they’d be cute together.”

so uh. i just did this and then may or may not have drawn ship art of them for the next hour.

man, having ocs is so fun. somehow whatever idea i think up immediately becomes canon if i want it to be?? any pairings i want i can make canon, any little things that are completely irrelevant to the story i can make canon, any canon angsty moments that i cry over are entirely my own doing, like what do you mean all the scenarios and small details i think of whilst playing character development barbies with them in my head can be real in the actual story?? it’s just. it’s so cool i fucking love it.

like yeah, freaking out over the irrational idea of my discord account being hacked is not a good thing, but also i got a few chapters of my fic planned out, started a redraw of a piece i made literally 3 years ago, and doodled in my sketchbook like there was no tomorrow purely to calm myself down. like. why cant i have this type of energy normally oml 😭

1920s!guitarspear AU >:D

aaaayyyyy i finally feel like i can yap about this!! and before anyone says anything i know that i forgot adam’s beard on two of the sketches, if you could just ignore that for me that’d be fab lol

guitarspear but 1920s america, anyone?? i’ve always been kind of obsessed with the prohibition era and speakeasies in the US even though i live 9 hours by plane away from you lot (sending love from scotland lmfao), and reading astardanced’s tsfgae fic “gin mills and the goods” only solidified that like a year ago when i first found it. couple that with my brand new shiny guitarspear obsession, and a sprinkle of inspiration from deadgirlwalking91, and you’ve got yourself a potential fic idea.

i’ve not done much on it, but the basic synopsis i have to go off of right now, put simply, is: adam is a pathetic divorcé who is far too desperate to get his ex, lilith, who is a bootlegger and a criminal, back into his life, and makes a deal with her which traps him spying in on an illegal speakeasy. complete with gangsters. oh, and one of those gangsters is lute. also she has a gun. they all have guns. they all want to shoot each other. and adams gonna have a fun fucking time in the mess he landed himself in, as per usual with any adam fic.

i’m still thinking up names for this fic, so nothings set in stone yet, but the placeholder one that’s kicking about in my ao3 drafts which i find kind of funny is “a little party (which definitely killed somebody)”, which is meant to be a play off of that one song “a little party never killed nobody” (which i think was in the great gatsby soundtrack thingy but please dont quote me on that, i’ve never watched it 😭).

i would yap more but like… hhhh i dont want to spoil anything i’m planning on. welp. just know that there’ll be a lot of guns, and probably violence, and drinking, and also likely smut because like… its guitarspear as literal criminals in the roaring 20s, they’re gonna fuck at some point. probably. provided my several google docs of smut i haven’t posted are any decent. but fluff is also inevitable i love these two and i will forever mourn the loss of adam in canon. this is me subtly hinting to viv that sinner adam should be a thing. please. and make him kiss lute. please. that’s all i ask.

IT’LL BE FUN I PROMISE!! no idea when the first chapter will be up, it’ll probably take me a while given i’ve only just started putting pen to paper to figure out the plot, but i’m committed to a fic idea this time and i’m not letting it go unwritten so there’s that :D
