introducing my first cc mesh !! after 2 months of learning blender lol. these bad boys are made to look velvety and fluffy i hope they do! texture is hand-painted by moi etc etc --- i really hope you enjoy.

*24 EA colors, under 15k poly, all LODs, custom thumbnails, didn't make hat chops srry but they do work w some, fits male frame too !

The natural conclusion to my issues getting Sims 4 Studio to run on Linux? I figured it out and made a tutorial.

A few of my solutions I didn't find anywhere online and had to figure out myself, and several I found in different contexts unrelated to S4S, so it was clearly high time someone compiled the information. It's actually a pretty easy fix. Which is wild to say after spending an entire ADHD-med-fueled day coming to this solution.

This goddamn toggle was on by default and, for whatever reason, that led to the program freezing and throwing up a solid black "Error" popup whenever I made or opened a package that contained a mesh.

Figuring that out made the thing actually function, and from there I did some research and figured out that Flatseal easily lets you bridge from the bottle to your installation directory.

I know a very small portion of the community will care about this, but I am rather proud of it.

Third Round - Day Eight 1 of 2

We arrive at the villa for the final solo challenge for the groups this round. Anyone who is yet to have a date will have one today, and unless the group win the group challenge this will be the last day they can socialise with Deanna before our next cut to the semi finals.

Isla and Kennedy landed getting the ground floor rooms. Kennedy rolls a thoughtful shower and brushes her teeth while Isla simply has a brisk shower.

Upstairs we have the other three members of the Ron group. They all roll to brush their teeth, but showers are mixed, leading to mixed moodlets. Abigail has a thoughtful shower, Evelyn has a brisk shower and Nyami has a steamy shower.

Following getting ready for the day, the contestants are sent downstairs to breakfast. Room doors are locked to minimise distraction while autonomy is set to full. Deanna will compliment each contestant, and this will be the only queued interaction of the day. The rest of the talking will be up to Deanna and contestants.

Kennedy: Howdy Deanna. I like your shirt

Deanna: Thanks! I know Reece teases me for dressing like a hippie but I like my style

Kennedy: You alright there Isla? Looking a little green

Isla: I don't want to talk about it. If I pretend it never happened maybe I will recover

Nyami: Sharing a house and we're keeping mysteries?

Abigail: It's probably not state secrets

Evelyn: Shoot, am I the last down?

Nyami: Technically yes, but you've not missed anything major

Evelyn: *sighs in relief* Good

Abigail: I hope the challenge is inside today, the sky looks like rain

Kennedy: It's cloudy but it don't feel like rain

Deanna: It'll be inside

Isla: I'm just glad that no matter what, I'm getting a date

Deanna: You all made it this far for a reason, I like spending time with you. Seems silly not to book alone time with everyone

Evelyn: I know I'm not the most socially adept person, I'm better on the page, but I try

Kennedy: Aw shucks Evie, you do great

Abigail: Alright, give me your dishes

Nyami: To throw at trolls?

Abigail: *laughs* To wash

Isla: Well that guess was close

Nyami: Definitely

Deanna: Do you not like the rain Abby?

Abigail: I don't mind it if I'm indoors

Kennedy: I love the rain, specially the smell of it

Nyami: It can cause no end of issues at dig sites, the stuff we unearth is delicate enough as it is

Isla: There's nothing quite like scuba diving in the rain

Nicola: Everyone seems in a good mood this morning

Arista: Apart from Isla who had a moment

Nicola: As a fellow "high maintenance" sim, sometimes life just bombards you

Arista: I wonder what they'd do if a contestant picked an outdoor date spot and it was raining

Nicola: The park has a covered gazebo, I don't remember the beach too well but I think there's some shelter?

Arista: Still, technology and water, not a good mix

Devin: Welcome everyone. Today we are in one of the warehouses of local brand Ferrari Vineyards. Please welcome Luana and Dominic Lockhart, the current owners of the nectar making business

Dominic: It's lovely to have you all here. This company has been in my family for three generations. We're hoping our oldest, Jesse, will continue the business. He's been an employee the last 11 years.

Luana: Mrs Villareal correctly identified this as one of our warehouses. Here we store some of our casks that are closer to being aged before they are sent off to be bottled

Dominic: We also use this as a training space for our new employees. They learn the ropes of nectar making, and today, that's what we will teach you

Luana: We've brought some of our grapes picked from the vineyards, and can tell you more about the process of how fruit is transformed to some of the highest quality nectar served in restaurants here and abroad

The contestants listen closely as Luana and Dominic walk them through the nectar making process, from berry to bottle.

Dominic: Nectar making originated in Europe. Using your feet to stomp is the traditional method for a reason. It's gentler than using machines. The grapes will be crushed just right, allowing the grape skins to produce fermentation

Luana: At first glance, yes, using your feet may seem unhygienic. However the alcohol produced during fermentation kills off any germs, and the acidity of the juice doesn't allow any microorganisms to grow

The grapes are brought in and while the girls prepare, Deanna and Devin sit down with Luana and Dominic to watch.

Nicola: Do we get to taste test it? Better not put up nectar that tastes like feet, girls!

Arista: *shudders in squeamish* I don't think we'll have any

Nicola: Have you made nectar before?

Arista: I had fun the one time I tried it! I'm looking forward to seeing the contestants have fun with it! Plumbob I miss them and the villa-

Nicola: Me to. It was a competition but it was nice having that summer camp spirit

Arista: We got lucky with our groups for sure

Kennedy: Not much of a drinker, but I like a good glass of nectar every once in'a while! I've been t'parties where we got to step on and squish grapes! Not that I've ever actually made it, but this might be fun!

Isla: I've never made nectar before... I hope I don't permanently stain my clothes!

In hindsight we should have absolutely given them nectar making outfits...

Nyami: This is so I love lucy!!! *does the grape stomp dance from that episode*

Evelyn: Ooh, I've dabbled a bit in the villa and it's fun!

Abigail: Nectar making? I've never done it, but it sounds interesting. Maybe I can even incorporate this experience in my campaigns.

Once the contestants are finished, their offerings are bottled for Luana and Dominic to try. Slowly they move from bottle to bottle, swishing each nectar in a glass to check the legs. They take time to sniff from the edges of the glass to the center, the way to catch hints of notes in the flavor. Taking sips of water in between they whisper until they've made their decisions.

Luana: No one made poor quality nectar so be proud of yourselves! My first batch was certainly not of great quality. You guys must be naturals!

Dominic: We have some good nectar here. Nyami and Abigail, this was a solid effort. For a first timer I am impressed

Luana: We think the nectar made by Isla, Evelyn and Kennedy is excellent. This is pretty close to our highly priced nectars we have at the business

Dominic: Since we can only pick one winner though, we are going with Evelyn. Your nectar was a good mixture of bitter to sweet which is what most sims enjoy. Your wine had nice legs as you can see *swishes nectar to show the tear dropped legs running down the sides of the glass* and you could smell the notes of flavour. Very well done!

Nyami: Can I get a small violin and cheese for my whine ** winks points and walks away **

Abigail: *chuckles*

Nyami: I'll be here all round!

Abigail: Aw man, I thought I had it! Guess I rolled a nat 1 for this one. Sorry, couldn't resist making a Lairs and Llamas reference

Isla: Well, I guess I can't be good at everything. It was fun to try though

Kennedy: Well, I had fun at least!

Evelyn: Yay! Do I get to keep it?
