HISTORY: Rayna was born to a normal family who ran a simple small funeral home with an attached church and old abandoned grave yard. Her childhood was happy until her 10th year when her father died in a war. Her mother tried to run the funeral home but couldn't pay the bills so she had to go into debt to keep it open and get a second job so rayna became a self care kid taking care of herself after school and dealing with most of the home chores. No matter how hard a day was her mother would always make time for her and read bedtime stories with her. Rayna's favorite was always the one about the goblin king which she always said he was not a bad guy just misunderstood and probably lonely. She even thinks he's kind for taking in all those wished away kids that were so carelessly discarded.

Shortly after her12th birthday her mother found a man and within the year married him. Little did she know he was a compulsive gambler and a bad drunk. He began to steal things from the home to gamble away only to end up going into deep debt. He would often come home late and look like he's been fighting. When her mother would try to see if he's OK he would yell at her and often hit her. Rayna hated him and her anger grew fast but she was also afraid. Often he would yell at her for being in the way or doing something wrong in his eyes. She would be doing a chore like the dishes or sweeping and he would yell at her about doing it wrong. The dishes would have spots or the dirt would get on his feet and he would yell. He never hit her but threatened to do so all the time. Mostly he hit her mother.

One knight that all changed. He came home drunk and angry. Rayna heard him yelling at her mother about the funeral home and how it and the church were worthless and that he was going to see them. Her mother was crying and tried to make him change his mind but he only hit her again. Rayna was so angry she ran into the room and screamed at him that he could never sell there home and had no right to try. She told him it was full of memories and he was a bad man. The drunk angry step father turned to her and finally slapped her across the face. She fell to the floor sobbing and when her mother went to pick her up she found a small gash below her right eye. His broken old high-school ring had cut her tender face and it would leave a scar in the shape of a Cresent moon. Rayna's mother decided then that they would escape him some how but sadly that never happened.

At the age of 15 rayna's mother grew sick. It turns out the three years of abuse had made her mother develop several tumors from the years of hitting. Rayna's days turned into endless torment as her step father began abusing her instead. She would now come home from school to do house work and care for her mother and that was it. She had no time for friends and became good at makeup so she could hide her bruises. Her step father worked as a construction worker and made minimum wage so when he went farther into debt life grew nearly impossible. They couldn't pay for electricity or heat so one winter when her father caught her trying to start a fire for warmth he hit her again and in a drunk rage screamed and hollered about warming her up real fast. The crazy man took the last of the charcoal and lighter fluid and began to douse the church with it. Rayna screams in terror as the flames quickly engulf the building. She tried to get her step father out but in his crazy drunkrn state he refused to listen. He says she should be happy she's warm now. With no way to make him listen she ran leaving him and by the time she got help it was to late. The evil man had burned down with the beloved church and half the funeral home. Her home was singed but saved by the fire fighters. Rayna was sent to an orphanage for a few years until she turned 18.

Once she graduated high-school, threw which she worked many jobs to earn her way and help out as well as save up to take over the debt from her step father. She has always had to work at least three jobs and pay most of it to debt collectors so her life is bleak and boring leaving her always depressed and tired. The only way she finds peace is when she visits her mothers grave and reads the story of the goblin king to her. Sadly peace doesn't last because often she is beaten by thugs from the gambling rings her step father owed money to. She's always being threatened that they will take her home and the rest of her property if she didn't pay. Rayna always cries herself to sleep at night and even wishes she could be stolen away by the goblin king but knowing that is just a dream she simply settles for her harsh reality.
