Not a drama enjoyer, never had fun arguing with people. However, my friend was majorly wronged, and deserve for their side of the story to be heard too.

Personal experience with Ari Leah Arts (3)

For a few weeks all was peaceful, until December 25th struck and with it brought Ari back in Executor's Officer's Lounge. She dropped an intro message about how she returned like laundry cause someone missed a sock.

I didnt say anything. I just decided to not interact with her, because EOL was a pretty dear server to me. So I held my jaws shut for 3 months, despite a jab or two from Ari.

(Imagine throwing shade at someone for a 9/11 joke while having a joke about North Koreans being politically and socially isolated in your bio)

Still, I didnt bring up old drama, I didnt tell anyone from either server about it except that one guy, until one day (about 3 months after Ari had rejoined EOL) the conversation steered to me abandoning VxH. I corrected that and said that I actually got banned. That was when my lil circle started asking about this whole thing, and I didnt even give them the tale in the server - I made a private group chat for it so that the drama wouldnt get necromanced, and people who dont gaf wouldnt be forced to read it all.

That was when I first learned that the whole thing with Babble and Flock wasnt the only instance of Ari spreading fake shit in some way. That apparently, multiple people were told multiple versions of events. I was blown away because, girl, at that point the tea was OLD.

I contemplated bringing this up with the admins of EOL, but I decided against it because 1. Ari hadnt done anything to me in EOL specifically, and 2. the drama was already old enough by that point that I decided I didnt actually care enough to start digging in it again. So I clamped my jaws shut once more, happy to just have my lil circle of mutuals.

Time skip to April, and something blows up somewhere. I dont know what happened exactly - all I know is that one of my mutuals talked to one of EOL's (now former) members about some fic, came across as pushy on accident, and apparently got a passive aggressive response for it from the ex-member, and Ari for whatever reason. This led to another mutual shooting a quick exit message in the server where he mentioned feeling uncomfy with how some people have shown themselves to be extremely passive aggressive, enough to make him not want to participate in the server anymore.

This message didnt name anyone, but to be honest I personally cant disagree. There have been multiple cases, but Ari definitely comes to mind despite the fact that she presents it to outside parties as "people crossing her boundaries". (The fic in question wasnt hers, but apparently she still wrote a post about how the Star Wars fandom crossed her boundaries for the last time or sum. Paraphrasing here.)

Well TLDR, the server got closed a day later. And nobody knew why for a while, all we could do is theorize, but then slowly but surely info started coming out. That Ari had been repeatedly causing shit behind the scenes, that she's been attacking other writers and artists, gossiping about damn near everyone, including me and my mutuals amongst others. Apparently, multiple people have similar experiences with her, detailing manipulation, extreme passive-aggressivity, deliberate misrepresentation of her experiences with other creators (including myself) to other major fandom members just for the sake of turning the people she likes against the people she doesn't. And it worked well enough to make people not even want to be named in this post because they either dont want to participate in any of this at all, or they're straight up worried they'll get harassed for speaking up. About two thirds of the messages and half of the screenies I wanted to include got striked by their authors and I honestly don't blame them at all. And legend has it that multiple authors and creators were driven away from Pieder - or just any Vader content - specifically by Ari being aggressive and purposefully antagonistic.

It would be one thing if all this stayed contained within one server, but it didnt. And admittably, given that even people who weren't even involved this in bullshit at all know about it at this point and have been told shit about me, Ive become worried to even access Star Wars spaces other than those Ive been in till now. Because Im afraid that somebody I might not even know might recognize me and run with Aris version of events, and take them as reputable. I understand that this might not be reasonable depending on how many people have been told things, but its the fact that I dont know exactly who was told what that makes me nervous. I dont know what my public image is, I dont know if its been impacted, all I know is that there are people out there who have been fed info that Im a hateful two-faced weirdo all because I committed the sin of not fucking wanting to start drama in a server, and I have no control over that info spreading. Thats the point of this trilogy, to prevent any further background bullshit. Because if things are bad enough that someone would block me after I explicitly state that I dont want any part in any drama, then clearly there is something going on.

And thats it. Traction is not expected.
