Picked up a Magpul CTR buttstock today. Its starting to look more like a rifle now! Still a long ways to go. Cant wait to finish and shoot this thing!

Assembled most of my lower receiver yesterday! Huge thanks to my buddy John. Headed over to his place where he has a work bench all set up and all tools i needed. Took my time with the build, no rush. Was definitely easier than i thought it was gonna be. Only had to refer to youtube to double check that i had the correct spring orientation. The trigger guard and bolt catch install were the most difficult, as expected. The trigger guard roll pin was esecially a pain in the ass. Tight fit and i was paranoid about breaking off an ‘ear’. Slowly tapped it in there and everything was fine. Other than that the lower assembly was a breeze. Threw on John’s stock and upper just to function check everything. Still need to pick up a stock of my own. Leaning towards a Magpul CTR for sure. Gonna do some homework on uppers and BCG next and hopefully find a good deal!
