Summoner Showdown Update: Now Open to 16 Teams! Extra Online Round Beginning 11/12
Based on the incredible number of people that have registered for this tournament and the feedback we have received, we have decided to expand the tournament by an extra online round that will take place during the week preceding the weekend LAN tournament. This will allow us to accommodate up to 16 teams instead of 8. In the event that there are less than 16 teams registered by Sunday night, we will manually match teams to make up the difference. At midnight on Sunday we will release a tournament bracket for the first 16 matches. Your team must play your assigned first-round opponent in a best of 3 games between this Monday, Nov. 12th and Friday Nov. 16th before 10:00 p.m. Additional rules for online play and game reporting will also be made available at this time. It will be up to the teams to decide on mutually agreed upon times to play. To make this easier on yourselves, please try to decide on a time earlier in the week.
