Zoro's loyalty to Luffy is very deep and he would do absolutely anything for him but he would NOT let Luffy make a mistake or do something wrong.

This has also been shown in the anime.

Zoro is Luffy's first-mate and his right-hand man, he will do anything Luffy tells him because he trusts that Luffy won't say anything stupid like killing his own crewmate.

He always keeps Luffy in check and gives him genuine advice. If Luffy ordered him to kill their crewmate he'd definitely fight him.

The devotion is blind because Zoro trusts Luffy.
