The bear’s phone number is +44 7492 817894, this is the number you can dial from anywhere in the world

No, I do not believe that any random Twitter or Instagram account is really the bears

I call the number every couple of months

This blog is run by @dinosaursmate

The phone has not been switched on when I’ve called since I started this blog

You can text them; it goes through as a normal text message, not iMessage (texts are still going through and not being rejected as of Dec 2020)

There’s no way of finding out who the number is registered to (UK laws prevent it)

I won’t publish asks that ask any of the above or any asks that claim that the phone was answered when you rang or anything similar (particularly if you’re on anon)

Wait why does someone think the phone is being turned on and off?

The number is still active after five years and if nobody was turning it on and making a connection action (phone call, text message etc) it would have been disconnected long ago

Mailbox not full as in voicemail box? Does that mean somebody is deleting messages to make room for more?

Not necessarily because voicemails automatically delete after maybe 30 days?? So whereas back in RBB’s peak everyone was ringing and leaving messages and the mailbox would fill up really quickly it’s actually probably that voicemails are expiring before the box gets full

Yes, for the record I just rang (7.09pm BST) and everything is the same; straight to voicemail, mailbox not full
