ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਸੰਯੁਕਤ ਹਲਕਾ ਟਾਂਡਾ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਸੂਹਾ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਲੁਬਾਣਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਸੱਲਾਂ ਵਿਖ�� ਪਿਤਾ ਇੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮਾਤਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ 1953 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਇਆ। ਮਨਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਸੂਹਾ ਨੇ ਬੀ ਏ ਦੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ��ਾਲਜ ਟਾਂਡਾ ਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਈਆਂ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਦਸੂਹਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਪੜੇ ਦਾ ਬਿਜਨੈਸ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਸਾ ਨੌਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਤ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਜੀਹ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ 1987 ਵਿੱਚ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲੱਗ ਪੱਗ 30 ਸਾਲ ਹੱਡ ਭੰਨਵੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਵਧੀਆ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਥਕ ਸਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਚਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਿਭਾਈਆਂ।

ਓਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਾਰਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਂਪ ਕੇ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੱਕੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਆ ਕੇ ਸ਼੍ਰੋਮਣੀ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਹਿ ਗੱਚ ਵਿਚਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਨਾਲੋ ਨਾਲ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਕਾਰਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਝ ਗਏ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਏਥੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਕੇ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਗਰੀਬ ਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਬੇਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੇਟੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਗਰੀਬ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਪੜਾਈ ਦਾ ਖਰਚਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਆ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
