Peaky Blinders are a group of gangsters that rule the streets of Small Heath through fear and their fists. When you play the game, you might have a similar thought I did- “Is this GTA: Birmingham”. But no this doesn’t appear to be the same. In the series, the Mastermind or the Master Con-Artist is usually played by the gang leader Tommy Shelby (Cillian Murphy). This is not the case when it comes to the video game. All the members of the family are involved in tasks which have to be performed to move forward in the game (As the game is called Peaky Blinders and not Quests of Tommy Shelby).

The goal in each level of Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is- ‘finish as quickly as possible’. You are graded at the end of the game. There are three commendations you can get, namely Bronze, Silver, or Gold. How do you do that? Well, you make sure that every member of the Shelby family that you’re playing as at a particular level completed their task well and fast. But a curious mind wanders and what does a wandering mind do? Waste time! Well, you need not worry about that either, as there exists an option which is perfect for all the curious minds who want to explore the game map to its limits. There is a rewind option for all users whose characters took a wrong turn or used up time going down a path that hit a dead end.

So, if you have Shelby’s doing things currently, then you’re doing great. That’s what the game’s majorly about—all the members running around Small Heath to complete tasks. The game director of Peaky Blinders: Mastermind previously said that the inspiration of this game came from a line which was delivered in the first season of the TV show. The gist of what Tommy Shelby said was something like; ‘He doesn’t care about the past or the future. He only cares about the soldier’s minute where everything in the battle is decided’.

I honestly thought that this game was going to be like kicking down doors, knifing people with your magic knife or something. Some adventure or puzzle games might run into trouble when you’re in control of multiple characters that are in one area. It often becomes a bit tiresome because you’re going over the same ground more than once, which just slows everything down (Boring!). But I didn’t get that from Peaky Blinders: Mastermind to be fair because the levels are relatively small in terms of space, so there isn’t a lot of time between points A and B to get bored. Plus, it gets more interesting when you realize that different Shelby’s can do different things. Every character comes with something unique, which is a small detail that the game makers managed to incorporate while making the game.

If you’re a fan of the Peaky Blinders and solving puzzles, you are sure to like this adaptation of the blockbuster Netflix series.

The AMC Theaters are Reopening!

To further accentuate the theater’s historical significance, it will screen some old blockbusters such as Christopher Nolan’s Inception, The Empire Strikes (Star Wars Episode V), Black Panther, Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, and Grease.  All these movies will be shown for 15 cents on the very first day of the reopening i.e., on August the 20th. After the reopening day, the movies will be priced at $5 per ticket.

Like all theaters around the world, AMC was also shut down in the month of March following the pandemic crisis. It will be reopened on August the 20th to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

More than 100 AMC theaters spread across the entire United States of America will be opened on August 20th to celebrate what will be a historic day for American cinema for several reasons. The areas where it will be opened include Georgia, Texas, Connecticut, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Massachusetts, Indiana, Florida, Illinois, Minnesota, Alabama, Ohio, Nevada, Missouri, Louisiana, Kansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and the capital Washington, DC.
