The adventure began as we took an early morning train out of London Euston to Bangor, North Wales. The forecasts of snow proved to be right as the scenery very quickly turned from green to white as we sped away from the city.
From Bangor we cycled South West towards the Llyn Peninsula - a remote windswept part of the country and one of the last strongholds of the Welsh language. It amazed us how after only a 3 hour train journey from London we could be surrounded by snow capped mountains, pine forests and lakes. You really don't have to travel far to find adventure.
The following days saw us criss-cross Snowdonia National Park. Along the coast with the Irish Sea to our right, past the Cregennan Lakes, through old mining towns and of course past Snowdon itself. We experienced freezing temperatures, hail and snow but who cares as long as it's not wind or rain?
Snowdonia provided us with everything we wanted, a real adventure was had, I have a feeling I'll be back there again before the end of the year.

Photos from a recent trip to the High Atlas in Morocco. We were snowed in at 3,000m by heavy snowfall. However this eventually cleared and we were able to get some miles under our belt around the Imlil Valley

HUAYUASH - In the winter of 2014, three friends set out on a self supported ride, looking for nothing more than a truly genuine experience. The goal: to circumnavigate one of the most wonderful and wicked mountain ranges in the world – the Huayhuash, by bicycle.

Our Kepler frame... ready to take on 500 miles.

We finally got the Brother built up and man, is it a looker or what?! As a sucker for almost anything with a fade, I absolutely love how it looks.
With only a couple of quick commutes on it to make sure everything is 100%, we are beyond stoked to put this thing through the paces. It rides beautifully on the terrible streets of Manhattan so we are confident it will handle anything we can throw at it with ease.
Just 4 days until blast off!
