days later, during my post third-re-read-of-aftg and completely obsessed with jean, I thought “isn’t it funny that the ravens lost their first game ever not after kevin, but after jean left? like, how insane is that?”

and, well, once might be a coincidence, but twice? oh, twice, for me, it’s a pattern

not only did the ravens only lose after jean left, but the trojans only WON (or will win?) after jean joined them. so, you can call me delusional (I was deep in my all-jean-only-moreau era) but it’s kinda funny, isn’t it, that they spent years trying to figure it out who between kevin and riko were the best, just for it to be jean fucking moreau

thinking about jean struggling with his tie when jeremy was already fully dressed. thinking about jeremy saying “let me” and jean handing it to him. thinking about jeremy going thru the motions while he also gets distracted by ‘the weight of jean’s unblinking stare.’ thinking about jeremy smiling and smoothing jean’s tie flat. thinking about when the winter banquet rolls around and jean asks jeremy to do it for him to begin with and jeremy does and it’s as sweet as it was the first time except the second time around jean allows himself to thank jeremy with a kiss to the temple. thinking about them.

now feels like a good time to reiterate that Iranians have been martyred by america + israel already, both empires that possess nuclear weapons, and that Iran does not have nuclear weapons. so now is not the time to joke about america getting nuked-- any retaliation on Iran's part is justified and the only way we escape this situation, but Iran is not going to nuke us, because the entire premise that Iran has nukes is how america justified bombing them and also the exact same rhetoric we used against Iraq and how we killed my countrysmen when there was again no evidence of nuclear warfare. I’m anticipating a very slow burn to the official JereJean first kiss, but I also suspect Jean’s gonna give Jeremy a little kiss on the cheek or forehead at some point that will make Jeremy combust on the spot.

But later down the line I really hope we get a good one where Jean kisses Jeremy right between the shoulder blades, bc why not
