Now Reagan didn't usually go out to places with live music by herself. Sure she loved hearing it but being with company always made it better. Here she was though, a drink in hand as she tapped her foot against the bar stool that she had been planted in for way too long. At least she could relax and keep her mind off of work. It's what she needed at the end of the day and she couldn't resist a good drink at all.
Noticing someone nearby, she looked over and gave a smile. "Oh, um... sure I would be all for dancing with you. Much better than me just sitting here." She spoke loudly over the music so she could be heard before letting herself grab the other's hand.

After running out on her boyfriend when he asked her to marry him, she couldn’t help but assume that was the end of their relationship, which was something she’d yet to come to terms with. In fact, the mere days she’d be in Aurora Bay, Beatrice had done little more than party, drink, and shop. Anything to take her mind off the very heavy reality that she may have ruined her longest romantic relationship with someone she genuinely loved.
When she spotted a stranger by the bar, she didn’t even hesitate to walk over to them with a smile on her face. “Do you want to dance with me?” She yelled over the music as she set down her drink and held out her hand for the other’s.

Reagan shook her head instantly as she heard the other's words. "No, I don't think so at all. Sounds like someone is trying to make up an excuse." The shift in blame that others seem to go to when they do wrong always baffles Reagan. Now if anything, she wasn't to read more into this herself just to have a good laugh. "Oh, he definitely is. Like he can't just admit that he was unfaithful. She really doesn't. Maybe Annabelle will actually do something to him for trying to use her as an excuse."

“ do you really think a possessed doll could actually make you cheat on your girlfriend?” Kalina asked as she glanced over to the person next to her. She almost couldn’t believe that this was a news story but after seeing the ex of the Ghost Adventures host bring up the situation; Kalina had to do her research as a true crime and horror enthusiast. It did sound very elaborate, but she also wasnt surprised someone would lie like that to try to get away with being unfaithful. “ Annabelle has so much power but I think Zak Bagans may be trying to pin his infidelity on her. She doesn’t deserve that from him “

Reagan thought a bit before nodding a bit. "Yeah, I've done yoga a bit. It was a suggestion sent my way by my mother since she thinks I sit for too long everyday." She playfully rolled her eyes before grabbing a met herself and turning back to Nira. "She seems to think I'll end up stiff and in pain."
The joke can't help but make them laugh. Nodding adamantly, Nira plucks a mat out of the bin before returning their attention to Reagan. "Have you ever done this before? I mean, not just here, but yoga in general?"

Reagan kept her focus on where she was headed. That's how she always had been since she loved having the future on her mind especially with goals that she made for herself. Usually that meant stressing about her job but she digressed. "Oh? I mean it makes sense but it is funny. Guess he doesn't have to stress as much then." Though she saw even if her mom had things a bit more lenient at times, deadlines were what she would cause the most stress. She tried not to butt in when her mother got like that and just let her be. "True. Humanity always seems to." She almost forget she had even ordered food, too engrossed in the conversation.
Imogen was one of those people that tried not to think about what life would be if something was different. But a lot of the time she ended up wondering about it anyways. She was doing her best to think about what was happening now. "Ah, that makes sense. My dad's job is a ton more lenient than my mom's. Which is always funny because my mom and dad work in the same industry, just different jobs." Imogen was mostly with her grandparents or her neighbors when she was growing up. "But yet... humanity does it anyways."

Maybe it was because of her curiosity or she was just nosy at the end of the day but Reagan was always checking up her friends to see who people thought they were dating. It was amusing. She had her fair share of people saying she was dating a fellow musician or even one of the people apart of the band that joined her on tours. It never failed to get a laugh out of her. Fans were great so she let them do what they wanted except if they crossed a line then she stepped in to stop it. "You do. Gotta have a little fun doing something else for a bit and try your hand at music again." she always wondered about the life of an actor since they were always doing something it seemed. Besides they'd both get to enjoy themselves for Halloween at least and she was ready to blow everyone's mind. "I look forward to it. You'll be the best groupie honestly. Of course! You can't leave the love of your life hanging." She laughed before giving him a gaze that had a glint of playfulness to it. This was fun and she was glad she got to do so with Roman. Others wouldn't take her teasing and flirting fondly so she didn't even try. Plus it made their conversations fun as well which she was all for. "I love that you do. It is. I can give you access for my studio as well if you'd like." She was all for sharing especially if it was with someone who also wanted to create music.
——- Almost any new role he took on he was being expected of being with his co-star. if he hung out with a friend — mostly girls, too much it was expected. once he was spotted kissing a male friend on the cheek and it was the big thing for a while until he was linking arms with another friend. since being an actor, roman's dated no one and thus made zero statements. it was fun to watch and let fans ship, simp and write fan fictions or make edits. it didn't hurt him or them in anyway. ❝ perfect. i look forward to it. i really need the break from all these bloody roles lately. haven't even gotten to have a proper moment to revisit my own music again yet. ❞ he chuckled some. music will always be his passion, but acting was his job and career, so he just took things as they came. halloween was a nice time for him to hang with reagan, let loose and forget the world of fame. they could feel free and even like kids. ❝ then expect me as your groupie for next tour. my acting life can wait to be there for who is clearly the beautiful love of my life. ❞ he said with another one of his signature charming smirks. roman was a flirt through and through, but still he worried and stressed over dating in his line of work and his trust issues were there too. though he's seen a few attractive people, including reagan here and it's not like it didn't cross his mind what something more would be like, if he didn't have that voice saying otherwise. ❝ of course. i have to share my passionate with you, darling. i haven't done much music so i think it's also needed for me as much as it's sharing with you. ❞ his smirk changed to a soft grin. with all the work lately, he definitely needed the break and to do what he loved most. music and sharing with someone who meant the world to him as well.

Reagan couldn't help but smile at her a bit. Her own job had been tiring but at least she finally finished a few songs for her album. That was one less thing to worry about. "I'm ready for it. I can't wait to drink and relax with some company." She follows after the other woman, making sure to keep up so she wasn't left behind. At least the other knew where a bar was nearby instead of them going farther away from here. "I'm Reagan by the way."
——- Marianna smiled warmly and approached the other woman, being as friendly as possible which was a bit tricky after a busy work week. she was just drained and needed to stretch her legs and unwind — a drink seemed perfect for that. ❝ oh, perfect. we can just relax and share a couple drinks then. i know there's a bar close so we can head there. ❞ using her head to point as mari started walking forward towards where she knew the closest bar was from her work place. she'd been there before so it was muscle memory at this point.

"Oh, I can only imagine. It would be so wild to see a Ray that big in real life." Something about it would be a bit terrifying but exciting at the same time. She'd love to see the ocean life much more if possible but there was a bit of fear. She didn't know everything in the ocean and that scared her a ton.
"Some of the Rays in the wild are like... Five times bigger than this. Can you imagine? Like big sentient flying saucers." One day Lucy would like to do sea diving, she knew there were training courses out there. She was just a little too nervous at this point.

Did she feel like she missed out at times? Sure but maybe that's why she was so spoiled by her parents. It wasn't to make up for love at least which she appreciated but at times she wanted to share these feelings with someone else and get to tease them. Though she knew other had siblings that had something happen to them and she didn't wanna think about that. "He just couldn't handle it. My dad is usually busy so my mom is always there to make sure things fine at home since her job is a bit more lenient." She mused, appreciating what her parents did. She loved getting to scroll whenever she was waiting and doing nothing important. Though it ended up making her stay up too late at times. "Nope it's not."
Having a sibling that she didn't know if she was still alive or not was a strange feeling. It was like a part of her was waiting to grieve, but a part of her would never get to experience that. Imogen hated that feeling more than anything in the world. She knew what it was like to have a sibling and lose a sibling, but it wasn't the same. Death might have been easier, but it wasn't something that she knew how to deal with. "I know that feeling. My dad decided galavanting off to Europe and meeting his new wife in Australia was easier than my mom's stubbornness." Imogen laughed. She loved to doom scroll. "It is not ideal at all."

Reagan nodded her head as she sat down beside the woman but couldn't help but feel disappointed for her. "Aw, that sucks. Can't believe someone would do that to you. You don't deserve that." She let her know. She never liked those who planned to meet up and then just didn't show up. It was rude to do to someone.
location: any cafe/bar/diner
when someone approached her, the dark-haired woman raised her head from her phone to gesture towards the available seat. " sure, you can take the seat. i think they might have stood me up anyway, " adriana remarked as she looked around with no sign of the person she was supposed to meet. // @aurorabaystarter

Seeing the way the other woman reacted to seeing the stingray caused Reagan to smile brightly. It was always nice to see such happiness from someone.
"It's huge! Much different than seeing them on TV." She was in awe seeing it, loving that it was so close in a way. "It's fine. Let's go see what other sea creatures we can look at."
Starter: Open @aurorabaystarter (Feel free to assume connections!) Where: Aquatica
Lucy sits on a bench in the middle of the shark tunnel, looking directly up a large stingray that shared the tank gently swim over her. Delighted, she looks like a kid in a candy store watching the cartilaginous fish mosey on by.
"Look how massive it is!" She turns to her company beside her, palms clasping together im the midst of her glee. "Okay, okay, I promise we can keep moving on now. I just wanted to see the Stingray go over one more time."

Reagan always wondered what it was like to have a sibling. Her parents never had another so at times she felt like she was a bit different than her peers. Sure she knew others were also an only child. It just felt like she couldn't relate when someone mentioned siblings. "Honestly, I don't think mine will either. I mean they say opposites attract. My parents have some similarities but my mom has always been the more organized one. Doom scrolling helps a ton. Makes it feel like you aren't waiting forever." She mused, a smile on her lips. "Yeah and figuring out time zones are just a feat of their own. Operating in three different ones sounds horrible."
Imogen had never been an only child, even before she got a younger brother. It was strange that she was born with a built in friend. Someone that should have been beside her even now. Funny that life didn't work out that way. "Oh, mine will never change. I mean they're such strange people. My mom is so different from my dad. It was a wonder they ever dated let alone married. They've been the same my entire life. But yes, doom scrolling to kill time in line is better than talking to them on the phone." She laughed along with Reagan. "It's difficult for him too. Since he has to operate in like three different timezones."

Reagan couldn't help the way she looked like a deer caught in headlights once hearing the other's voice. At least she didn't jump. That would have been humiliating. "Oh, I wasn't headed anywhere special. I don't mind joining you for a drink. It could help keep my mind off things I'm sure." Sometimes work seemed to stress her out so being able to unwind with someone was appealing. Plus she was up for knowing more people instead of being hermit.

——- Marianna came in for her shift that day and it went over well, cooking the day away — making sure her skills didn't go to waste. her mind was just on getting home now as she was just going through it today, maybe talk someone into going to grab drinks with her and keep company. she wasn't one to talk about her problems much — she face alone or forget, depending. once her shift ended she stepped outside catching someone passing by and a grin crossed her glossy pink lips. ❝ hey, where you heading tonight ? mind joining a girl for a drink, perhaps ? ❞ a warm smile rested on her lips before gently offering her hand. today was an off day from work for her as to why she was roaming around herself, and to be honestly, she could really use the company.

"Oh, I couldn't agree more. I would have loved to see some classic emo. That would have changed this up for the prom." Maybe then she's be all for dancing much more instead of hiding away. Not that the music choices were bad but Reagan always gravitated to certain genres that were evident with her own music.
"I had fun. It was much more enjoyable than a high school prom."
location: record shop or something for: open! @aurorabaystarter
"I'm just saying," she chuckles, a little twang as the words roll off her tongue. "I was pretty sure lyricism was dead on the scene until this album dropped, now my hope is revived. The prom would've been way more fun had they played some classic emo, but I'm glad we got a Sleep Token song on the docket." She smiles, turning the vinyl album in her hand to look at the back.
"Did you have fun? Or did you have other plans that night?"

The joys of being an only child made Reagan due things that she was sure was her acting out. Maybe if she had a sibling, this would have been different. Reagan couldn't help but nod a bit. "That's true. Sometimes you want them to change but it's only if they want to do so. I mean I get it. Gotta doom scroll to kill time." She laughed a bit herself. "They do things when it's convenient for them. Oh, I think others forget that time conversion is a thing."
Imogen never got in trouble growing up—that was her sister's thing. She tried her best to keep everyone at home happy with each other. And then it was easy to follow her mom's rules after because she was dealing with the grief of it. "They are for sure. Not always a good thing, but you know, sometimes you can expect it. Should have turned my phone off... except then I wouldn't be able to doom scroll on Instagram." She laughed. "That's how mine is too. That plus time conversion."

Reagan's parents, even with being busy, made sure to always keep tabs on her. Sure she never got into trouble but they always wanted to make sure she was safe. It still didn't stop her dad from calling at odd times. "You'd think he'd learn but I guess dad's are stuck in their ways." Reagan didn't mind but there are times that she wants to just tell her dad that texting would be easier for the both of them. "It's a setback but I get he doesn't know my exact schedule." Sure she might have told him at times but it seems not to stick at all.
Imogen loved her parents, she did—and her dad did this far more often than her mom did. At least with her mom, she kept track of where Imogen was. Her dad had never been to Aurora Bay and didn't ever check her location before calling. "Right? Like I wish dad did the same. My mom will literally make sure I'm at a place I can talk before she talks to me." Imogen really did appreciate it even though it was such a small thing. "Oh no. That would suck." Thankfully, the worst was her dad calling her right as she needed to use the bathroom or worse when she was in class.

Reagan wasn't one that usually would do something like this but here she was all dressed up and trying to look her best. If anything she felt like she wasn't herself at all and the extra makeup made her feel like a different person. She didn't know how she felt about it at all though and had to push down the urge to wipe all the makeup off her face right at this moment. At least she didn't have too much attention on her. This was different than when she was working so she tried to be out of the way as much as possible. That seemed to fail though as she ended up smacking into someone and a gasp left her lips.
"It's fine, I'm okay. Are you okay? I swear I'm better at paying attention." She didn't mind if her outfit was ruined. If anything, she was ready to tear it off and be in her casual attire again.
open - @aurorabaystarter
where - prom
It was curiosity more than anything that brought her here--well, that, and the fact that Gianna had begged her and pouted until she caved, her parents even offering to babysit Mireya's little brother so she could go without worry. So here she was, wearing a fancy dress and actually putting in effort into her appearance for the first time in a long while and...well, feeling pretty. Feeling good, something she hadn't truly, fully felt in quite some time. But, she was also feeling a bit out of place, so she quickly was about to be onto her second glass of champagne when someone quite forcefully smacked right into her and she let out a little yelp, her drink sloshing over herself and someone else- along with the domino affect of stumbling into the same poor victim.
“Shit, I’m sorry. Are you okay?” God she hoped she wasn’t about to get yelled at or threatened to be sued or something equally as ridiculous (but right up the alley for rich douches) just because of a bump and a potentially-ruined outfit.
