Personal headcanon: By the time Chapter 3 ended, Yomi was SCARED of Yuma. Think about it, of all the detectives, Yuma was the most unsettling from his perspective. The moment this supposed trainee came to town, his personal hitman and every suspect in the cases he tried to cover up are suddenly dropping dead without explanation (some even briefly coming back to life to confess the truth), and the fact that Yuma was personally involved in each one wasn't lost on him. Hellsmile straight up asked Yuma if he was death itself, as though this little guy who isn't even a certified detective to his knowledge was the devil. His desperate attempts to kill Yuma were probably spurred on by the fear that he'd be next to drop dead any moment.

I think rain code should've had more exploration like image exploring a mall,a park, hell I wish the museum reopened after you solved the case it would've been so cool. I can also see like having Yakou guide Yuma around and he'd comment on certain landmarks n such around Kanai Ward. I love Rain Code so much but I do wish there was more to explore y'know? QwQ I REALLY hope rain code can get a sequel.
