In all my Ninjago fics so far, I've used 55 character tags out of the 322 that Ao3 recognizes as canonical, but I'm not going to include tags that stand-in for groups or categories of characters, so the actual goal I'm aiming for will be lower.

(note: I included some characters in my total that aren't technically tagged in any of my fics, but really ought to be. can you believe karlof isn't tagged in earthtones despite playing a pretty significant role?)

I discovered how to see every canonical character tag Ao3 recognizes in a specific fandom and there are 322 recognized for "LEGO Ninjago (Cartoon 2011-2022)". There's a few I think are mistakes ("Genn" I'm pretty sure is a mistype of "Gene"), and the list includes various groups ("Sky Pirates", "Serpentine General Characters") that I wouldn't necessarily include as part of a Structured Challenge.

however. the completionist devil in my brain sees a challenge. and by god.
