Okay, it‘s officially 2019 and that‘s crazy haha!
But let me show you my monthly spread for January. I really like it☺️
This month I have only 1 ½ weeks of school because of my winter break, later I have an internship and at the end of January I‘m also finally through half of my school year!🤩

self discipline tips
here are tips I discovered very recently:
something is better than nothing. 5 minutes of work are better than zero. Just because you missed something on your schedule doesn’t mean you can’t still work on it, even for 5 minutes. Grow and build on this.
second drafts / reviews can be done after.
Don’t think you are going to do your very best work on the first try. Take the weight of perfectionism off your shoulders.
don’t think about doing it. just do it as fast as you can.
build on your productivity, not your failures.
If you come from a past of procrastinating and now feel motivated to change and discipline yourself, do NOT try to do everything at once.
if you have a set of different goals to accomplish, begin with the most important one. Wait until the rotine of working for that one settles in (you feel productive and comfortable-ish), and then begin with the next. Repeat.
this way you’ll be building your way up and not juggling everything at the same time, hoping everything works out.
be patient with yourself, you’ll get there!
set smaller deadlines for your goals
have monthly and weekly-ish deadlines
e.g. if you are doing a project, due 22nd Feb, set personal deadlines, like have Introduction written by 2nd Feb, have Methods written by 10th Feb, have project complete by 18th Feb.
take them as seriously as you possibly can, don’t miss out on yourself.
write realistic daily tasks and don’t stop until you finish them. after them you can do whatever you want
on writing realistic daily tasks, the secret is knowing you can only do so much in one day, but trusting you can accomplish everything in the course of any period of time (a week, or 2 weeks or a month, etc.) because you will combine the work from all these different days.
it’s very tempting to write down all the tasks you need to accomplish in one day to just get over with it, but the real deal is you won’t accomplish half of them. You’ll feel very unproductive then, wich leads to demotivation.
spread daily tasks in the time necessary.
have a consistent sleep schedule.
if your mind isn’t ready everything will fall apart.
have one rest day per week where you plan nothing, do whatever you want except studying. this can be harder than you expect!
(don’t forget these are effective only if you actually put them into practice! good luck babes!!)

How to study when you don’t feel like it🌟🌟
There are some days where i don’t feel like studying at all .Its like all my motivation to study and grow has just vanished. Everything else looks more interesting even staring on wall for hours and my mind wanders like crazy.💃
During my exams i have constant PRESSURE on me and that drives me to work but on regular days where i don’t have any tests and the classes are even boring , I struggle to get down to study.
So here are some tips which usually works well for me 🍃🍃
1. Have a pep talk with yourself
Kind of weird if anybody sees you doing this but it work like a charm every time. Stand in front of a mirror and talk why you have to study regularly, what benefits you will get and motivate yourself by saying things like - ‘Hey buddy you can do it I believe in you …we are gonna rock this semester together" and things like that.
2. If you day dream a lot and are not able to concentrate
Tell yourself that you will think about it at a specific time later. Usually when I am studying i just randomly starts imaging a scenario of a novel or movie or TV series and start fangirling about it so at that time I remind myself that OK we will think about it but not now , for eg. At night when I will go to bed. Constantly remind yourself of the time you designated whenever your mind wanders.
3. Set a schedule for the day
First make a list of all the things that you have to do and then arrange them in order of your priority . Then assign time limits to all your tasks.
For eg. 2-4pm – do my homework
4-4:15 – snacks
4:20-5 – reading the next chapter
And so on . every transition between tasks should have atleast 5 min margin .That makes your schedule more flexible and manageable.
3. Avoid any kind of distractions
Your friend’s text or your favourite youtuber’s video can wait. You have assigned time for it in your schedule so check your texts , emails , videos then not now. Putting your phone in silent mode also helps.
If you know you will be hungry while studying then bring a banana or any other fruit with you before studying .Don’t wander around your house searching for snack when you should be studying.
4.Watch a motivational video or read a inspiring article about your idol or any prominent figure from your field.
This will surely inspire you and you will feel a new energy in you.
5. Practice effective study techniques.
Everyone has their own methods which work best for them but some common one include, using :
Pomodoro technique ( studying hard for 25 minutes and then taking a 5 min break so every third break should be a little longer)
First reading then making notes in your own vocab. which will be easier for you to understand later .
Learning a topic then teaching it to a freinds can also help( you can teach the topic to your stuffed animals also it doesn’t matter😝)
You can also record the lesson in your voice and listen later whenever you want .Like listening while cooking or while exercising.
Always remember there are no rules for these techniques you can make changes to them and find what suits you best.
Hope this helps , comment any technique which you find useful.
Reblog to spread the word and help other students in need😊😊✋✋

ADHD study tips!
I may not be the most accomplished student, but I’ve been slowly finding what works for me. The following advice probably applies more to the “inattentive” and “combined” subtypes; the former is my diagnosis. Also, it is probably applicable more to science/maths than humanities.
* Follow your nose - set an outline for what you want to cover in a certain period of time and don’t force yourself to do any one thing in particular
* Embrace nonlinearity in your notes - don’t force yourself to make them exceptionally neat & compartmentalised; scribble your ideas down and use arrows to connect things together
* If you have an idea or a question, investigate it yourself - make a mathematical model of the system, visualise it, etc
* Prove the theorems in the textbook rather than doing the (boring) exercises - this really helps with understanding, and also develops your mathematical skill
* Look at more material than the course requires - this makes studying feel worthwhile, because you’re actually beginning to understand
* If you’re hyperfocusing, don’t force yourself to take a break! Wait until your concentration starts drifting and then get outdoors for a bit. I find that studying in anything less than a 1.5h session is pointless because I don’t get immersed enough to make deep connections.
* Get a fidget toy - it can make concentration much easier, even without medication.

ya know what I want to see more of in the study/bujo community
I want to see more dark photos.
I want to see more photos with diverse, colourful, and interesting backgrounds.
I want to see more notes written in ballpoint
I want to see more of the rushed bujo pages made because you didn’t have time to do it but didn’t want to have that week missing from your journal
I want to see more in-class notes, the notes you took before you re-wrote them to make them “post worthy”
I want to see more messy desks. The aftermatch of journaling and studying
I want to see more wooden desks, more desks that aren’t white, more desks covered in coffee rings and paint splats
I want to see more on the fly photos
And I’m not writing this because I want to support “small accounts” or “poor study accounts” I want to see it because I’m sick of every single post looking the same as the one I saw last. I’m tired of accounts with amazing content not getting the growth they deserve because their photos aren’t overexposed on white desks. I want to see it because it stands out, it’s different, and I like it.
So many accounts quit before they even get started because of the precedent that you have to have expensive stationery and stark white photos to grow and make an impact. Because they don’t feel they can live up to the expectations of the community. And that makes me really sad.

Skin care is something I find incredibly relaxing. Not only do I not stress over acne, I’m healthier and happier because of it (also I get some hella photos). Now a lot of people think skin care is all about expensive masks and this and that, and while those are nice that’s not it at all.
If you get more sleep your skin is healthier cause your body has time to repair itself and fight infections (acne)!! Plus you’ll be more focused and balance!
Eating healthier (more fruits, vegetables, water, tea, etc) does help your skin as well as your quality of sleep, focus, and overall health.
Stress not only breaks you out but hurts your body as a whole (among other things it weakens your immune system)! So take a break, take a mental health day, watch your favorite show. It helps your skin and your health.
Change your sheets, especially your pillow cases! Your environment is cleaner and it decreases brake outs because there’s no old oil and dirt build up on your pillow anymore.
These are simple changes your can make in your everyday life that don’t cost much and have actually results!! Skin care isn’t always fancy products!
Note: for tougher skin problems (like cystic acne) these wont really help. If you do have conditions like that please see a dermatologist for help! Trust me, I have eczema and it once got so bad I had to have a steroid prescribed to me to help! This is just some basic changes that may make your life a bit easier!

A reminder that turning in assignments for partial credit is better than not turning them in at all. It is. Even if you think you’ve done a bad job and are ashamed of your work, or it’s way overdue, you take whatever you can get. Partial credit dramatically improves your grade over a zero, and I’m always astounded by how often even the smartest kids don’t really comprehend that. 60% is worlds better than 0%. Even 10% is going to help you. Letter grades are misleading and are not created equal. “F"s are mathematically valuable. Turn that late assignment in.
