Cold, dark, dead. The only accurate words to describe the reaper’s presence as a whole - be it while he is still, while he moves, while he hunts and while he preys and hungers for his next victim’s blood to be dripping down the hallow marble white mask he is cursed to wear. His gaze was initially focused elsewhere, but the sentence did catch his attention and he turned to face the scientist.

He was silent still, bloody hues focused intensely on the scientist as he listened to what Mercer had to say, the reaper silent until he found it worth while to speak to the other.

“Indulge you, you say? What work could you possibly do to improve my capabilities?” A gravelled voice spoke, his mind dully noting the smile tugging at the corner of his mouth - despite it being a small one.

           Fluttering fabric and the soft hiss of dead air announces the reaper’s presence as he moves through the room. Literal dead air, in some way. The scientist’s shadowed gaze lifts from his laptop screen to search the other hooded figure’s ghoulish mask. “ What Moira enhanced in your body, is impressive. ” He idly murmurs, seizing for the deadly mercenary’s attention. He’s been curious for some time, now; interested in Gabriel’s unique genetic structure as it rapidly deteriorates and rebuilds itself. 

           He doesn’t have any intention of saying Moira’s work was anything but intriguing. However, he has a means to make it better; evolve it. Mercer has discovered a greater way to evolve and become something better, as his bioweapons research has shown. “ I wonder how much greater your abilities could be if you would indulge me. I have a theory of my own. ” A thin smile tugs at the corner of his mouth. Gabriel is still somewhat of a mystery, he can’t claim to really know the man. Regardless, maybe the reaper will be curious enough not to brush him off.

so my uni place wants me to pay £223 for two weeks rent, but i’ve already paid it and the place may not accept it
