Fixing My Expensive Acoustic Guitar

My name is Rebecca Burgess, I have a very modest collection of expensive acoustic guitars. There is one guitar however that never gets played or used due to the fact that it is not in playing condition. 

I will give you some insight into how I got this guitar, how it came to be in the condition it is in now and my worries about fixing my expensive acoustic guitar.

What kind of Expensive Acoustic Guitar

Before I start explaining all that I mentioned above it is important to know what brand the acoustic guitar is. The guitar is a 1970′s Martin acoustic guitar.

The way in which I acquired this instrument is quite funny. I have a very rich relative and he used to be a musician. However he is known to never get rid of anything even if it is not being used. 

He had this beautiful expensive Martin acoustic guitar lying deep in the back of his cupboard but the guitar was warped and the neck was not straight. 

I  begged my relative for this guitar for months however he did not budge. I would not give up though, I was completely relentless. 

After months of begging, my relative finally caved in and gave me the guitar. It took so much convincing and persuading but I was elated and he could see that so I think he realized that letting it go to me was the best thing because the guitar was not getting any use and deserves to bring someone happiness. The only problem is, my expensive acoustic martin guitar is now warped and unplayable. 

I am desperate to find the right luthier who has experience fixing expensive acoustic guitars. It is so very important that the luthier knows what he/she is doing as it is a vintage instrument. 

So here begins my quest to find the luthier to fix my expensive acoustic guitars.
