The crew ✌🏼 Huxley has been feeing MUCH better and has been given the all clear to do some physical therapy and light exercise ☺️ Tate has been awesome working with client dogs and staying focuses and unflappable in public ☺️ Cole is just as crazy as ever 😂 Jasper is doing great and enjoys napping and barking at the moon as usual! Ori • Pitbull mix • Muzzle Training and Placework During Ori’s stay with us, we worked on conditioning Ori to accept the muzzle without fighting it and tied that into the Place command, which she already had the foundation of from earlier training sessions. Giving Ori a job to do while wearing her muzzle helps to take her mind off of the muzzle and normalize wearing it. Lots of treats and praise were involved of course! Dogs can wear muzzles for a wide variety of reasons, from bite risks to preventing them from eating objects off the ground to preparing them for an emergency. Every dog should learn to wear a muzzle! Tate did so good last weekend hanging out at the dock diving tournament with us and staying calm, cool and focused. He definitely enjoyed watching the other dogs but he was far more interested in focusing on me than anything else. I’m so proud of him and how far he’s come since he was a baby!! There was only one dog he barked at, but to be fair, the dog was staring us down pretty hard and the owner didn’t move him away or try to break his attention. Everyone always says they can’t tell Tate and Cole apart but in my eyes they look COMPLETELY different. Cole is way thinner and moves very lightly, not to mention he’s blue, not black. Tate is thicker and moves heavier and his markings are much broader than Cole’s. Completely different.
