On Saturday, June 24, 2017, ®ebelMas ©a®nival Blog took a few whines down Hollywood Blvd in the Door section of Epic Mas Bands: Guilty Treasures #carnivaltheme I was adorned in a gold wire bra, gold necklace, wings reminiscent of Sunrays, golden leg/arm pieces, and a gold head chain to complete my look! D'or represents “the metal we lace our most treasured possessions with to signify their esteemed value.”- Epic Mas Band . De road to carnival bliss is one of the longest routes in the United States 😩 and is a route I’m willing to conquer again. I mentioned early on that this was the city’s #5th Annual Carnival Celebration and it proved to be a carnival I won’t soon forget. Seven bands participated in the parade: 1. Extasy Mas- “Allure of the Sea” 2. Mirage Mas- “Sunrise” 3. Reggae on The Road- “Forbidden” 4. Bamboo Mas- “Jungle Fever” 5. Sistas Wit Style 6. Epic Mas Band-“Guilty Treasures” 7. Hollywood Massive- “An Evolution of Expressions”

These 7 bands assembled perfectly like a full on #Soca #Brigade!!!!

I was asked on more than one occasion What were the fetes like? Out the gate I am going state That I had the best time at Shine. Again #®ebelMas©a®nivalBlog is personally vouching for #SHINE!! The venue was upscale/plush, sufficient space for feter's, restrooms were easy to access, and the energy was incredible. ALL the fetes had a #wild #sexy #energy about them...BUT Shine had the best drinks, DJ line up, and #style. My stay in Hollywood was one of convenience... Its all about #Location #Location #Location Fetes were set up in prime locations; my friends and I had zero issues accessing venues (rare carnival gift).

They tell me... 🎶 It never rains in Southern California or in North Hollywood for that matter 🤗. For four days I woke up to clear blue skies, 90°+ days, and got the chance to rub shoulders with soca royalty...Meeting the man that believes "the sweetest melanin" can be found having traveled through the #stars and many #moons to chase after that undeniable #carnival feeling was truly an #EPIC experience It was a pleasure to meeting @machelmontano 🖤
