Uh. So weird thought but.

Pantalone placed a heating mat thingy under the side if the bed dottore sleeps on just to try and avoid cold sprawled out gangly limbs. Like a snake or really young kitten, there's a place to help warm dottore up like an animal who can't thermoregulate on their own yet.

It does not work

Dottore would never choose a heating pad over laying on top of Pantalone. Treason, treason of the highest order! Dottore would be offended just by it existing, and would likely throw it out or bite it in retaliation. He gets weirdly defensive of Pantalone after that, and makes a very clear point of hanging onto him before they go to sleep.

Pantalone gives up on the cold feet argument.

Pantalone tries to flirt with dottore.

Flies over dottore's head. Pants gives up and just approves funding for an experiment to keep dottore from tarnishing is reputation through "nonsensical sentences" before leaving in shame.... or something?

TLDR; Dottore doesn't understand pants' pickup lines, pants pays for dot to stay silent.

It goes both ways, because Dottore is like a feral cat, leaving dead things at your door but with organs or random ruin guard parts instead.

Pantalone recieves a heart in a jar at one point and completely misses the part where Dottore quite literally gave him his heart. He returns it to Dottore with a stern "keep your weird experiments in your lab, you have one for a reason".

Dottore then proceeds to consider putting a different part of him in a jar. Maybe his liver... Or his eye, "you caught my eye" is a catchy pick up thing with the youth...

Pantalone is mildly terrified when he nearly gets an eyeball thrown at him, all while the segments are trying to take it away from Dottore before he traumatizes someone.
