Hii I love your writing! Do you have any headcanons about Krone and Giesbach's daily lives? Or founders in general?
Hi anon, I’m really glad to hear you like my writing! Unfortunately I'm a bit of a bad person to ask for this because I tend to just infer things from canon unless I need particular details for a fanfic.
We know from Carla's DF route that the founders used to have some fancy parties, which I imagine made up a good part of their socialising and Shin mentions in his Bloody Bouquet CD that Banmaden's rooftop garden was often used by founder women and children to have tea parties (including Krone and Shin :') ).
Beyond that I tend to imagine that most of the founder men spent at least part of their time learning sword play, while the women probably spent most of their time with each other or raising the children. It's mentioned that founder women were strictly controlled in order to keep the bloodline pure (which, I know, is gross) so they certainly weren't allowed outside of the castle grounds much, at least not without supervision.
There must have been some sort of education system in place, although not a school, as what Shin says in the DF Tsukinami prologue certainly makes it sound like it's his first time in a school, which makes me think some founders must have acted as private tutors.
I'm afraid that's pretty much all I have for the moment anon, I might reblog this post later if I come up with anything else though.

Hi,so I love your blog so much.
I have an q question,so I think that Founder men see women really low than men.
In Carla's routes,it's really obvious that king Giesbach violent with their wife's. And Carla sees Yui as "his woman" and every character too. So,do u have opinions about Founders opinions about women or etc, culture and smthng like that?
Hi, I’m really glad to hear you like my blog ^^
I’ve talked about this topic before here and here. To reiterate what I said in those posts, it’s mentioned in I think the Tsukinami DF CD that founder woman were strictly controlled (which I take to mean that they were mainly kept inside Banmaden to preserve the purity of the bloodline, although this isn’t stated outright) so they certainly didn’t have all of the liberties that they should have done.
Sensitive topics under the cut.
It’s true Giesbach hit Krone and locked her up in the dungeons after she tried to stop him from going to war with Karl and told him that he was just jealous of Karl and Carla. From my knowledge of Carla’s route, while Gies could be violent with Carla, I’m pretty sure this is the only example we see of him turning on Krone in game. I’m not trying to make excuses and hitting your s/o out of anything other than self-defense is inexcusable but, in my opinion we don’t have enough evidence to determine whether Giesbach was violent to Krone prior to this incident.
From Krone’s dialogue and behavior I genuinely think she loved the man Gies was before he started to lose his mind due the jealousy he felt towards Carla and Karl, so I like to think he used to be better behaved than how we see him in Carla’s route. Again, I’m not trying to say this makes his later actions okay, it doesn’t, rather the behavior Gies exhibits towards Krone is likely going to reflect how many founder women were treated so determining whether the incident above was a one off or was frequent behavior is pretty important if we want to know how founder women were treated as a whole.
Personally I find it unlikely that all founder men treated their wives terribly (and I’m pretty sure I discussed this in one of the posts I linked), although equally I suspect they were not necessarily given the respect they should have been either.
As for Carla referring to Yui as “woman” or “his woman”, this really isn’t him trying to be derogatory. Carla can be quite literal, and when Yui being dissatisfied with his nickname comes up in one of the LE limited edition bonus drama CDs, his reaction can essentially be summed up as “but you are a woman so I fail to see the problem”. The possessive part (”my woman”) may not be received particularly well received by western audiences, but if you look at otome games the phrase お前はオレの 物 (omae wa ore no mono which literally translates to “you are my thing” although is generally interpreted as “you’re mine”) comes up A LOT, it is in no way a DL-specific thing. IRL is this a great thing to say to your partner? Not really unless that’s what they’re into but otome games are not meant to equate to real life.
I’ve gotten a little off track but yeah, part of the reason why the guys use this phrase is to provide some wish-fulfillment for all the do-M fans out there, so I wouldn’t read into it too much. The guys do make some sexist comments and Karl definitely does not set a good example in how he treats his wives, so I wouldn’t say any of them are perhaps as enlightened as we might want them to be (except perhaps Azusa). But we should also bear in mind the context of DL, in that the characters are meant to be do-S, so they were never going to be perfect boyfriend material.
Hope you have a lovely day!

How do you think women/girl vampires and founder women were treated? In all games, none of the mothers are treated well or in high status position? Like Cordelia is literally the 1st wife and isn't labelled as Queen? Same for Krone (mother of Shin and Carla). In a translation of game she's defined as ONE of Giesbach's MATES. So vampires/founders are polygamous? And women are seen as broodmare? Or do they actually have value above ownership and childbearing?
Hi there! So I've talked about this topic a bit before here. To reiterate what I said there, women in the demon world definitely don’t seem to be treated well, however, unfortunately we’re given a very narrow view of society in the demon world so it’s a bit difficult to say whether this sort of treatment is universal or whether we just see the worst of it. We definitely don’t see any women in positions of authority, so the demon world is certainly unequal on that front.
It’s mentioned in I think the Tsukinami DF CD that founder women were very strictly controlled (and this comes up in Shin’s LE route too), and although it doesn’t explicitly say it, given Shin and Carla’s attitudes I think it’s safe to assume that this was to ensure the purity of their bloodline. Therefore, while it’s not a given that they were all treated horribly by their partners, they certainly weren’t viewed as much more than a means to carry on the founder lineage.
As for vampires and other demon women, we do know that Karl treats his wives abominably and if we’re going with the DF plot, then we know that he simply used his them to have children for his experiments. He certainly never felt anything towards Beatrix and Cordelia, and while things get a bit muddled depending upon which game your looking at regarding his feelings towards Christa, we can all agree that locking your significant other in a tower is wrong.
However, it is important to note that Karlheinz is the Vampire King and so it’s not a given that regular vampires are this terrible. I mean Richter fell in love with Cordelia (with no plans of having children with her) and goes to some pretty extreme lengths to try and get her back if we look at DF (and all of his comments from the popularity polls) and not the anime. I think it’s also worth mentioning that from his dialogue in Shin’s LE vampire ending, it seems that the head of the wolf clan genuinely had feelings for Krone before she married Giesbach.
With regards to polygamy, again we get such a small glimpse into the demon world that it’s very difficult to say whether Karl gets away with having three wives because he’s the vampire King, or whether this is commonplace among the vampire gentry. I mean if we’re talking about Yui and the boys, I certainly can’t see any of them taking another partner after getting together with her.
I hope that answers your questions and also would you mind sending me a link to the translation you’re talking about regarding Giesbach and Krone? As I cannot remember this coming up in the games (unless it comes up in Chaos Lineage as I haven’t done Carla’s route yet).

So of course when the boys were children obviously during those times women were property, especially when Carla and Shin were children...but do you think it has changed any since? Has demon world evolved any like us humans or do you still think the women are horribly treated as they were many years before? (It May be hard to answer this as I don’t remember a lot of vampire women in the games..)
This is an interesting ask and I’m sorry I’ve taken so long to get round to it!
I know that founder women in particular were very controlled and I think that as well as this being due to the time period, this was also probably due to the founders wanting to ensure the purity of their bloodline.
As for whether it’s changed… It definitely hasn’t changed as much as things have in the human world have with the main example of this being Karl’s treatment of his wives. Given that nobody except Subaru seems to question Karl locking his wife up in a tower the demon world definitely doesn’t seem to be as into the concept of gender equality as we are. However what we see of the demon world is quite limited so it’s a bit difficult to say whether this is the case everywhere or if Karl gets away with it because he’s royalty.
A couple of other things to note on this topic:
- When Reiji gives up Yui in his LE route breifly, if I remember correctly, Zweig offers Reiji his sister as a replacement.
- In Carla’s LE route, only the ghoul men are trained to fight, while the women do things to help.

I was watching The Vampire Diaries and couldn't help but compare Shin to Klaus Mikaelson.
They are both quite sadistic, violent and vengeful. They are both physically similar, (at least to me). Both are the ancestors of vampires. They are very protective of their family. They are very powerful. They can transform into wolves. They hate their mothers.
I've never seen the The Vampire Diaries so I'm afraid I can't really comment (although I have been considering giving it a try for while so maybe now I'll check it out ;) ).
The only thing I will say is that I don't know that I would go so far as to say Shin hates Krone. Honestly we don't know very much about their relationship, other than Shin referring to her as "that woman" in his DF ecstasy 10 chapter (in fact I think the only scene we even get of them interacting is Shin's LE Maniac 09 chapter where Krone says she's entrusting Carla to Shin). It doesn't seem that he tried to visit her after she was confined to the dungeons, so they definitely weren't close by the time the war with the Karl started but Shin does talk very briefly about spending time with her as a child in his Bloody Bouquet CD (he mentions going to the rooftop garden with her and seeing her wedding dress in her room).
If I had to guess at what happened, I'd imagine he stopped spending time with her as he got older and spent more time training. As Gies favoured Shin and was just awful to Carla, I'd imagine that Krone felt Carla needed her more, and as the eldest (and because he wasn't spoiled by Gies) she probably felt she could trust him more with anything important. This would not have been well received by Shin because it would have fed into his "everyone knows my brother is better than me complex" and probably would have just widened the distance between them. Anyway this is just me speculating so please don't take it as canon.
TD;LR I've never seen the Vampire Diaries and I wish we got to see more of what Shin and Krone's relationship was like before everything started to fall apart.
Apologies that I got a little off topic there ^^;;

Shin Tsukinami probably has hot dog water rizz. He can't think straight enough to say something that would make sense and appeal to who he's trying to flirt with.

Can I draw your OC ? 💓
I'm new to digital art (so I'm not very good!!) and I would love to draw your OC's and a singular DL character together :)
Or if you guys would like me to draw a DL character (doing something specific but ideally simple)
Send me a picture for reference and I'll try my best :D

Estonia: You're smiling. What happened? Lithuania: What? Can't I smile just because I feel like it? Latvia: Ivan tripped and fell down the stairs today.

My favourite part about HWS Estonia is just how confident and assured he is and it's justified. Like, he feels like the type that was waiting just the right moment to become absolutely unstoppable. He's been surrounded for stupid so long that it's absolutely freeing not to deal with it
He's smart and and I think he sees through people's bullshit
I also think he's a good balance for Liet and Lat who are on the more emotional side.
Life didn't even hand him lemons and he's out here with the equivalent of a lemonade conglomerate

I fucking love Ed and Raivis' brotherly dynamic
Them always going to Tolys to break a tie
Tolys never feeling like he's going to have the same kind of bond with them since he's kind of the outsider but Eduard and Raivis refuse to let this be true
Tolys always telling Eduard to be the bigger person in conflicts with Raivis
Their insane bickering about weird things.
Their bond they've had over years of going back and forth between major powers with no power of their own, only having each other
Christmas tree wars
Eventually both of them learning that bringing tolys into any of their arguments is a bad idea as Tolys takes things way to seriously and will think something is actually wrong

How funny I think The Hetalia Cast is, This Is Based On Their Canon Personalities.
no bias in place yet again as is tradition, I'm not open to debates about these, I'm right and you know it.
Categories and what they mean: Intentionally funny- says funny things with the sole purpose of making people laugh, is aware that they are funny and others agree they are. Unintentionally funny- does not really try and make people laugh but it’s their tone and comments they make offhandedly. Very quick with retorts and jabs. The do not think they are necessary funny and don't laugh at their own remarks. Both- just very funny in general. Both tries to make people laugh and often says funny underhanded comments that are funny but they did not mean it to be necessarily. Not funny really at all- does not really try to make people laugh and doesn't. No one would describe them as 'funny'. They may have a good since of humor but they don't put the effort forward to show it enough or at all. Unintentionally not funny- tries to make jokes/zingers they don't land really, may get a couple chuckles or a groan but that’s about it. They think they are very funny. No one else does though. Always be saying some dumb shit. Will probably repeat the 'joke' over and over until someone says 'we heard you the first time'.
America- Intentionally Funny England- Both Canada- Intentionally Funny France- Unintentionally not funny China- Unintentionally funny Russia- Not Really Funny at All Italy- Intentionally Funny Romano- Both (but you can never really tell when he's joking and when he's not) Germany- Not Funny Really at All Prussia- Unintentionally Not Funny (He think's he's hilarious, I guess that's all that counts really at the end of the day) Austria- Unintentionally Funny (He does NOT think he is funny at ALL and is often irritated people laugh at things he says because he was being serious.) Japan- Unintentionally funny Latvia- Both (Everything he says is pure gold. I firmly believe he is the funniest guy any of them know.) Lithuania- Not Funny Really at All Poland- Both Estonia- Unintentionally Not Funny Sweden- Not Funny Really at All Finland- Intentionally Funny Norway- Unintentionally Funny Iceland- Unintentionally Funny Denmark- Intentionally Funny Spain- Intentionally Funny
