How did they figure out that Reclusa could consume Connectar? Did Cozette test this by dipping his egg in the Connectar pool to get him accustomed to it?
What happened when the egg hatched? What was Reclusa's initial reaction to everyone?
How cute is the bambino when he's sleeping?
Cozette simply tried it out, since Reclusa only relied on the negative version of Connectar before, she assumed that regular Connectar could also work, theoretically.
So she gave Reclusa a small amount and he came to like it. Ever since, a small bit of Connectar has been infused with Smolclusas favorite plush, which he gnaws on regular, thus unconsciously taking in Connectar.
His initial reaction was confusion, then delight as somehow, Cozette seemed familiar to Reclusa, thanks to Zokket whom he still has a hazy memory of.

What types of stuff do you think reborn Reclusa will grow up with?
Numerous bonds obviously and friendships down the line. But also with a mother who takes great care of him and older siblings (Eck's and Connie) he can rely on.
So all in all, his new life is not so bad(certainly better than his former one lmao)

One more thing: How is Cozette going to explain to this child that he is to never ever use his brainwashing flower powers because they are evil and cause untold misery?
I am so sorry for responding so late, my deepest apologies. I was very busy in real life, so I had barely time to keep up on this blog.
Coming to your question, Cozette explains that while the flowers may appear pretty, it can be dangerous for those around them. She tells him to never use them with others close by.
Reclusa eventually understands, but feels sad that his pretty flowers are seemingly bad. It required great effort from Cozette and Connie to teach him this important lesson. She, of course, puts it in a way a small child understands. She is excellent in this discipline (she had plenty of experience with Connie after all)

Definitely, Reclusa has witnessed and absorbed both their bonds ever since being reborn. So even as grown up later, he still sees Cozette as his mom and Connie as his big sister ❤️

When Reclusa will grow up, what kind of person will he become?
Reclusa is still going to be a little daredevil and remains quite spoiled (mainly due to Cozettes upbringing) even after growing up, but he will be more understanding towards bonds and friendships and is no longer disgusted by them.
I plan for him to become Concordia’s guardian entity, with his powers, he will protect the whole land from any kind of danger.
At least that is what I have in mind for him.
How will it turn out in the end? No one really knows. Time will tell ;)

So, how did this whole rebirth process come about? Why was Reclusa reborn as an egg and why did the Great Conductor decide to give it to Cozette and Connie?
I am going into detail in my Fic about this, but since you asked, here is the background of this AU so far.
Reclusa get´s reborn as egg because he hatches from one, i headcanon that his species hatches from eggs, thus he would logically be reborn as that. I also headcanon that members of his species grow in eggs themselves, that they start as tiny embryos like humans for example and the more energy they consume, the bigger they get, until they are able to hatch.
Cozette found Reclusa´s egg on Shipshape Island a little while after the endgame and consulted the Great Conductor about it. Knowing the mayhem Reclusa had caused, a plan had to be made. Destroying the being wasn´t possible, because if not even Mario and Luigi were able to truly kill him, who else?
So Cozette came up with an idea. She asked the Conductor to fully eliminiate Reclusa´s memories, wiping the slate clean so to speak. She offered herself to take care of him, teach him the right ways from the beginning in hope to prevent any future danger for Concordia and other worlds. At first the Conductor wasn´t happy with this idea but relented after a little bit, granting Cozette´s wish.
But i will try to elaborate more about this in my fic i will eventually finish.

So, based on the most recent fic, Reclusa still has his plant powers.
What's gonna happen when he gets his old memories and realizes what he did with them and what he did to his adoptive mother?
Also, when are we getting the fanfic part where this baby is born? How did this happen? And how did everyone agree to help take care of the entity that nearly destroyed everything?
It came as a surprise for everyone. Cozette was in believe that Reclusa has lost all of his old powers after his rebirth since they had been sealed away to prevent harm.
He won't get his old memories back from what I have planned so far, maybe that changes over time but for now he won't get his memories back. It could be a plot line tho down the line where he has to deal with it.
I am going to write that hopefully by the start of next week after Easter holidays are over, then I have a little more free time available 😊I have a rough idea for it already but work wears me out quite a lot recently.
