“Yeah you send them to the witch that lives in the garage and she might just make a nice soup out of them and give the bones to Dog.” The half lycan teased back, loving the theatrics that came from Gracie. She was such a good kid it was almost impossible for Kyleigh to imagine her doing anything wrong but she knew one of these days it was probably going to happen. Kids got bored, and even if the world was nothing like it used to be they would still find some shit to get into. All she needed was that cute little Cole to bat his eyes at her and she would find herself in a situation she probably didn’t need to be in. Or it could be the other way around. Gracie was a beautiful kid and was no doubt going to be a heart breaker when she got older. God her fathers were going to be in for it! Of course she could always come to Kyleigh for cover stories even though she did hate to lie to Eric and Aaron. They saved her being all feral and turning into a real monster out there, the least she could do was repay them by not lying about their daughter.
Gracie’s response to her question caused Kyleigh to let out a snort, but she understood why the words were said at the same time. At that age no girl liked to admit they had feelings for any boy, let alone the ones right outside their front door. It was always the impossible to get to ones, or the bad boys, that sucked you right in. “When I was your age everything was different but yes, I actually did think about running away. There was no secret reason behind it either. I just got into a bad fight with my Aunt about breaking the curfew she gave me and I said I hated her then ran right up to my room. Packed a bag and everything. I planned on waiting until she went to bed before I snuck out but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. When I thought about actually being out there all alone with no survival skills at the time I chickened out. Not saying that that’s what you would do if you decided to leave, but it’s a completely different world now. Can’t just take off and hide in the woods anymore, not alone anyway.”
❛ WHOA, okay lunatic, maybe don’t eat the boyfriend i’ve been kind enough to pick out for you. ❜ it was a very witchy thing to do though, gracie would admit that much. while she didn’t r e a l l y care one way or the other about if kyleigh did or didn’t have some random guy in her life, the young girl couldn’t help but to think that maybe it would be sort of fun. they could talk about him behind his back, about the good AND bad things, and if it ever went south grace had a whole list of easy to pull off pranks just waiting to be deployed. there was a chance that it could all backfire though, like if the guy somehow became more a part of the community than kyleigh had if that happened and then they broke up it could be kyleigh on her way out instead of him, so the risk really wasn’t worth it. and if she decided to date a GIRL instead? that would be even worse ! what if gracie got too attached? what if she liked this new girl more than she liked kyleigh? the whole thing was a mess and it wasn’t even real.
the thought of being out there away from alexandria would always be tempting, but kyleigh was right ; it couldn't be done alone. a fact which sucked major ass but gracie would have to deal with nonetheless. ❛ yeah, they really didn’t teach you guys anything, right? like not anything that was actually worthwhile. it’s crazy to think about. people always talk about how those days were better, but, like...i just can’t wrap my head around being that unprepared. some kid not being to handle their shit alone for a few days? like googoo gaga here’s your bottle, you dumb baby, now lay down and DIE i guess. so stupid. ❜
#i think gracie is one of the few FCs i actually have base icons for#so to stop using them altogether would be a waste haha.#reasons i love gracie: having the opportunity to write that last line lmao#lunarruled

━━━━ SCHOOL HAD PROVED A PERPETUAL PAIN IN JUDITH’S ASS. she had never enjoyed school , she found that the list of useful things she could be doing extended far past arithmetic and lessons in grammar. her lessons should have ended years ago , after she’d gotten through basic math and spelling maybe. had it not extended into world history and 1,000 word essays about books she had no interest in , judith could have tolerated it.
the tests were pointless. and sure ,maybe they wouldn’t kill her , but the grounding she’d get if she refused to participate in them provided much worse. getting trapped inside her house with no entertainment proved itself much worse than a SAT. a chuckle was buffered through the air as gracie suggested the school of the dead. there was no higher education to pursue , even if she wanted to. there had once been a banner for stanford on jude’s wall ; an everlasting reminder that universities didn’t even exist anymore. there were no jobs judith needed a degree for in alexandria. the council had proved that when they allowed a 12 year old judith to be of assistance in the medical ward and school for the younger kids.
she sits up again , stretching her body out and all over gracie’s personal space. “ maybe if we just all collectively fail (. . .) they’ll be so disappointed that they won’t even bother with trying to teach us anymore. ” judith offers her wishful thinking. all the important stuff judith was taught was learned through life lessons. a tough crash course in knowledge. live and learn! it was much more effective than sitting in someone’s living room for 7 hours at a time , listening to them go on and on trying to reteach a lesson they themselves had received in high school.
it wasn’t a b a d idea ; in fact it was an idea so tempting that gracie forgot to SHOVE judith out of the personal space which she had so quickly claimed as her own. if they failed, what was the worst that could happen? maybe a few stern words, maybe even having to retake the rest a few times, but if they all stuck together and simply refused to learn, surely a new method of teaching would be employed and this time it could be something better. what that something was gracie couldn’t even begin to guess, but given the curriculum currently being forced upon them, BETTER was the only option ; once you reach rock bottom, the only way is up !
❛ are you being serious? or even, like...sort of serious? ❜ the question was posed after a moment of silence on gracie’s part, the lack of sound somewhat off-putting coming from a girl who usually could best be described much the way one would describe a small dog yappy. ❛ i feel like if we did something like that we’d need to have a REALLY good plan behind it. more than just not doing our work until we get our way, first we’d need to figure out exactly what ' getting our way ’ means. do we want less school, or just less tests? do you think we should have a say in deciding what we learn? what about going out more? that one is risky, but i know my dad talks about it a lot, mostly about wanting to take me to DC, so there’s a chance that i could get him to back us up... ❜
while it was true that only ONE of her dad’s brought it up, it was the one who happened to have a hand in teaching them, so convenience was on their side where that matter was concerned.
#sorry about the wait!!#I'm in the middle of getting a handful of new blogs set up and the task has been eating my brain.#jdyth

𝓘t had been something that crossed his mind before– if walkers felt anything when you killed them. Even if they were just milling around as they do. Did they long for their families and friends? It was interesting to think about. But in the end, they were a pile of rotting flesh and only hissed and gurgled for speech. “I really don’t know… But all I do know, is that they try and hurt the living. And at that point, they’re past the point of having an ounce of humanity.” Once could categorize them as cannibals’– in a weird sort of way. But the only thing they could do is try and move around, attack people and eat whatever flesh they could get their hands on, alive or not.
so he wasn’t sure, which meant it WAS possible. instead of this new revelation making gracie uncomfortable she was simply grateful that kal hadn’t tried to talk her out of it, or even worse called the whole thing ridiculous. he didn’t know, she didn’t know, NO ONE could know for sure, and while that sucked a big one it was also good to acknowledge.
❛ i guess you’re right...but the people who like doing it was still nuts. ❜ and that’s something gracie would solidly stand by, no matter what they were or weren’t. ❛ hey, can you teach me how to do that thing where you kick somebody on the back of their knee and it makes their leg sort of give out? i’ve tried it on judith before but she never falls, just sort of stumbles a little and then gets away. ❜

“well, i wasn’t in charge of naming these bands,” lisa teased back, a playful roll of her eyes offered to the young girl before her. it was true. so many things had changed since the world had ended. not once had she ever stopped to think that she hadn’t met any other lisas at the end of the world when before there had been a great number.
“there was always popular names for every year. i think when brittney was born, it was brittney, ashley, and jessica,” lisa explained, recalling how many of each had been in brittney’s kindergarten class. “grace is an older name. it’s a name fit for a princess – and it was. grace kelly went from movie star to european princess.”
now THAT was a fair point. although...gracie couldn’t help but to think that even though lisa hadn’t been in charge of naming the bands, it was her people that allowed them to get away with it. from what gracie had been taught ( thanks, dad ) being a bystander to a crime without doing anything about it was just as bad as committing the crime yourself and the name of that band? a crime if ever there was one.
❛ she must have been one hell of an actress, ❜ gracie said with a smile, righting her posture to reflect that of royalty. names weren’t something she was too focused on, she’d always liked her own because of what she’d heard about her first dad, but aside from that names were just names ; what did interest grace however was the concept of certain names being popular in certain years. how did that happen, what was the point?
matching names made sense in some circumstances, such as RJ being named after his dad, but naming a kid something just because of what year they were born made no sense. ❛ okay, so, wait what if you had a baby, and you didn’t like any of the names that were popular? would the kid get made fun of if you went off list? ❜

When it finally hit Kyleigh that Gracie was speaking about her actions or lack there of, she just shook her head and tried to hide her embarrassment. She wasn’t surprised the girl knew about those kinds of things, she was at that age and had very progressive fathers, she was just more relieved she wasn’t going to be the one to have to explain any of that to her. “Eww if anything like that was happening in here I wouldn’t have let you anywhere near it, yet alone sit by it. Holy shit G, give me some credit.” Would have been for nothing of course, but still it was a giant relief that they could just simply skip over that entire conversation and just go back to their fun little gossip session. Sometimes it was pretty awesome having a spy for an adopted sister in Alexandria.
Rolling her eyes at the tease the half lycan continued to dry her hair as best she could, though it was that time of the year when it didn’t take long for the weather to help it along. Not too hot yet though, which Kyleigh was not looking forward to. She hated the heat more than anything else and with the very limited options of swimming situations she was already dreading those long summer days. Tossing her towel over where her other various items in need of washing were, she went over and picked up her brush to comb through the damp mess. “You have quite the imagination thinking that I would even be interested in someone here. Or anywhere for that matter.” Oh she was, maybe just a little, but there was no chance there so she hadn’t even tried. “But no, I’ve never had anyone outside of the family here. Most of us have been more focused on surviving than anything else and keeping this place safe. If it happens one day for me then it happens. If not, no big deal.” It was how Kyleigh had carried herself in the time before and just kept it the same even after the world ended. Going over to her bag she dug around and found the small container with all the little rubber bands in it and tossed them over to her friend.
“How about we turn those questions around on you Missy. And don’t tell me that you’re too young, I was your age once and I knew of people that already had girlfriends and boyfriends. You like anyone here?” Other than Cole, she thought as she had Gracie sit on the edge of the bed, herself on the floor so she could start to do her hair.
❛ KYLEIGH. c’mon, we both know that isn’t entirely true. ❜ gracie wasn’t a mind reader, so she couldn’t prove that the statement hadn’t been true for kyleigh herself, but to claim that most people in their town were only interested in surviving? well, gracie had seen enough awkward morning-after-walks and accident babies to know just how false that was. ❛ i believe that you don’t think it’s a big deal, because honestly boys are lame and you don’t NEED one...but hypothetically, if somebody cute shows up you’ll be the first person i send them to. i’ll say, oh, you need directions? a sandwich? a bath? go to my garage there’s a little witch in there who can provide all that and more. ❜ the last part of gracie’s statement was gussied-up with a shake of her shoulders and the overdramatic tossing back and forth of blonde hair. it may have been all cute games now, but in a few years she was sure to be a menace.
had she been in a different sort of mood grace may have put up a fuss about kyleigh daring to ask her a similar question, but in the moment? she was ready and willing to answer anything that came her way. there would be time to complain later, maybe pretend like she was FORCED into speaking. ❛ i don’t really like anyone here. not REALY really, and i hope i never do. my plan is to find somebody far away from here...maybe not too far, but far enough. maybe somebody who lives by the beach, or up in the mountains maybe even in a swamp! just not here. didn’t you ever feel like leaving home when you were my age? i bet having some idiot boy hanging around would have ruined it. ❜

“They’re actually from Carol and are pretty good even if they are kind of purple.” The half lycan replied as she threw her bag in it’s normal place and walked into the bathroom. Though they were both female and more than comfortable with each other she did make sure the door was almost closed before getting undressed, an odd habit that still carried over from the days before all of this happened. She was so happy about being able to take a shower she got a little lost in the quiet of it all as the water poured over her, using the homemade soap from the kind lady that lived a few houses up the street. They had been lucky enough to have people like that in Alexandria, so why not put them to good use? Hands full of soap were washing it through her hair when she heard Gracie’s question and Kyleigh can’t help but snort. What in the hell brought that question on?
“Hell no. Not that there’s anything wrong with it, but yeah no that has never happened here. Other than your Dad and not in that way. He just showed me around before I moved in.” Dear god the last thing Kyleigh wanted was for Gracie to think she had tried anything with her father, even though it was pretty obvious he was not into women. When the second question about gloves came she completely took that the wrong way and after making sure her hair was squeaky clean she shut the water off and grabbed the towel as quickly as she could. “Gracie you better be talking about gloves on your hands! And if you are, then no you don’t have to. I made sure I spent most of my time on my hair.” She called from the tiny bathroom as she dried off, happy she was smart enough to bring some clean clothes into the room with her. At some point she was pretty sure her small friend had been told about certain aspects of life, she was about the age when things would be happening and she already did have that little crush on her friend Cole. Throwing on her clothes the half lycan kept a towel wrapped around her head to help her hair dry and came out into the main room with her hands on her hips.
“Do we need to have a talk about something? You’ve never asked me about a boy before, and while I’m totally okay with that I want to make sure we’re on the same page. That was just a random thing right?”
reason #56078 that carol was confusing. gracie would never have claimed to know the woman well, but even the parts that she did know were confusing. she seemed kind, but also cold. a team player, but also a lone wolf. did she come off as the type who both could and would give out cookies? sometimes she did, sometimes she didn’t, but no mater what the truth grace wouldn’t be the one to question it. she was interested in cookies, not the inner workings of ms. carol.
having gotten a reaction even better than what she’d been hoping for, gracie smiled, giving kyleigh an innocent look as she came out of the bathroom. ❛ i just wanted to make sure i wouldn’t end up pregnant by sitting on the floor, ❜ she said with a straight face and a shrug. alexandria’s sexual education program may have been far from perfect, but gracie knew enough to know that she would have been safe even if kyleigh had nightly orgies and made use of every surface in the room and she FOR SURE knew that her dad wouldn’t have been involved in any way. growing up both of gracie’s dad’s had made sure to let her know that she was beautiful. that all women were beautiful in one way or another, but that simply wasn’t a pool they would be swimming in. in fact, they wouldn’t be swimming at all. never learned. they were more into hiking.
❛ no, MOM, we don’t need to talk about anything, i was just wondering what you got up to in here...but now that we’re on the subject, when was the last time you dated somebody? was it someone i know? are you guys still friends? ❜ suddenly, gracie’s brain was good for one thing and one thing alone ; going down the list of every male she’d ever seen pass through alexandria’s gates.

─────── JUDITH HAD NEVER BEEN THE MOST PATIENT OF PEOPLE. the truth was quite the opposite. there was something swirling in her narrowed eyes before her words broke the stubborn silence between the girls. she couldn’t focus , and she could’ve sworn she felt some remnants of gracie’s hot breathe on her face. maybe judith was searching for something to be upset about; anything to break apart from her book for just a second. she’d rather be doing anything than having her nose stuck in a book ; sneak up to the roof maybe , ransack the pantry? whatever. she would settle for whatever.
“ maybe you dropping dead right now wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen. ” judith pointed out , picking up her book , slamming it shut , and slumping onto the bed her legs had been crossed on just a few moments ago. did she sincerely wish death upon gracie? certainly not , but in this moment everything she seemed to do irked her. her hands flew up to her forehead , cupping them above her eyes as if that could shield from the stress. “ if being around doesn’t kill me (…) these stupid tests are! ”
well that was fucking RUDE. if given the opportunity to do so gracie would have done just that ; dropped dead right there and let all of her disgusting, rotting juices drown judith - it would be well deserved .... but then someone else would need to come in and clean up their bodies ( gracie placed in a beautifully decorated grave, and judith TOSSED over the community walls as a treat to any hungry animals ) and that wouldn’t be fair to them not to mention the parents and guardians who would be heartbroken.
so no, as much as a joint death FELT like the best option in the moment, gracie would let the idea pass for the time being. although revisiting it in the future wasn’t totally out of the question.
❛ j u d e ... ❜ was another insult on the way, loaded and ready to fire? it was possible, probable even, but as gracie spoke it seemed as though her annoyance had begun to shift towards those who were actually the problem. ❛ this is SO STUPID ! what college do they think we’re trying to get into?! the university of oh look another dead body ?! we should just...stage a coup or something. ❜ gracie was a smart girl, bookish from day one but even she would admit that the whole setup had its flaws. teaching them the basics was one thing, but the testing had gone a step too far.

“𝓦hether using it on a person or a walker– it is always hard. But we try and let people live. I hate to think of us as killers, but we’ve all had to do something unspeakable in this new world.” Kal began, taking a couple steps to the side from where he was previously standing beside Gracie. “Walkers are just former people, right? Sadly they don’t really… have much of a conscious and able to make decisions other than milling around looking for…flesh to chew on.” It was always sad, thinking of the lost lives that clinged to whatever walker moved around. But self defense was important, and knowing how to protect themselves against any sort of attack was one of his first priorities. He himself was skilled in marital arts, and it was only fitting to have him be one of the lead instructors.
kal’s words soothed her worries...somewhat. it was good to know that they felt the weight of any lives taken, and even better to know that when given the chance to do so stopping those going against them was more of a priority than killing them ; but still, it was an awful lot of pressure, especially where the dead were concerned.
❛ everyone seems so sure of that. ❜ gracie said quietly, words spoken under her breath as she allowed the toe of her shoe to scratch at a patch of moss. ❛ i know...realistically, i know that if anything else were true you guys would probably know it by now but don’t you ever worry that the walkers are, like...sad or something? and if they were, i know that killing them would be the best way to help since it isn’t really a fixable problem, but i just feel bad sometimes when people act like killing them is fun, or like they’re this big bad thing when they obviously couldn’t stop even if they wanted to. ❜
#kal: agrees to train gracie because self defense is important#gracie: so you said this is a therapy session right?#hilltopguard

“well, there’s nothing like a good old backyard barbeque or fish fry to get some smiles going.” lisa was a huge proponent of the small things bringing the most joy. there was something in food and music that was all that was needed to have a party. there was no need for booze or drugs. hell, no one even needed an occasion to throw a party other than cooking.
lisa had felt the ache of loss so often yet she forced herself to ignore it as best she could. to feel those aches was the first shaky path to losing hope and losing hope was something that the ex savior would NEVER allow to happen. she could never give up on her kids. that wasn’t what a good mother did.
“well….there were these bands in the 90s that my kids absolutely loved. boy bands had been all the rage,” a pause as she realized that perhaps the girl did not know what a boy band was. “those were bands of a group of boys singing together in harmony. it had all the teenage girls going wild. there was n’sync and the backstreet boys. i remember those were two big ones that brittney was obsessed over. and…britney spears and justin timberlake. they were like the king and queen of pop music for a long ass time if you were to ask my kids.”
the corner of her mouth lifted upwards as gracie tried to suppress a smirk. she understood the instinct to explain, after all there were many obvious things that the young girl had needed explained to her in the past, but there was something about lisa breaking down the fact that boy bands were in fact made up of boys in a band that made gracie want to chuckle.
❛ the backstreet boys? ❜ grace repeated, the look on her face akin to that of someone who had just witnessed a botched cartwheel. ❛ that...is so, so lame, aunt lisa. maybe the worst name i’ve ever heard in my whole entire life. ❜ was the backstreet a place? is that where the boys were from? was it some form of slang that ( thankfully ) had petered out somewhere along the way? as it turned out, gracie did have her share of questions about these boys in a band, but something else caught her attention before said questions could be asked. ❛ so the queen and your daughter had the same name? i hardly know anybody with the same name. maybe, like...two pairs of people. did that happen a lot back then? ❜

A look of offense came quick to Kyleigh’s face when Gracie agreed that she should probably at least rinse her hair first, though she could understand why. They were all pretty used to people not really caring for their personal hygiene like they used to by now, but that didn’t mean the half lycan was going to let it get that bad. True she had blood in places she didn’t want to mention and she probably smelled like death, but she was only gone two days, it wasn’t that bad yet was it? Now she was paranoid and tried to sneak a sniff test in on herself before the younger girl spotted her. Okay she wasn’t reeking yet but a quick shower was definitely in order.
Nodding her head she laughed as Gracie turned to give her all the good gossip she has missed, not surprised that both of her fathers were out there right now. Pretty much every adult that wasn’t helping to rebuild everything was doing what they could to find much needed supplies, even she had tried to look before she had let the wolf do her thing. The sad realization was that without the technology to make new things the world was running out and it was actually becoming dangerous to have even the most basic of things. “Dude you can say what you want around me. Not like I haven’t heard it before. Shit you’re practically an adult now anyway, not like I’m going to rat you out to either one of your Dads.” It was actually kind of cute the way Gracie said things and it helped Kyleigh to hide the flash of jealousy on her face that Carol got to go out with Daryl yet again. Whatever, that was their thing and she wasn’t about to get in the way of that. The mention of both the Coles caused her to grin, wondering if Gracie knew that it was easy for the half lycan to tell she might have had a bit of a crush on the kid. It was cute, even in times like this the most natural of feelings couldn’t be stopped.
“Sadly no news. It’s getting real hard to find anything out there but bones and rust.” Not a complete lie either, but Gracie didn’t need to know the ugly details of what else had happened while Kyleigh was gone. By that point they had reached the little garage by Eric’s house that she was still living in, Kyleigh opening the doors so the two of them could go in. “Alright G, make yourself at home while I go shower real quick. Then we can talk some more and you can do my hair. There’s water and some cookies too if you want.”
it would have been the shock of all shocks if, upon her parents return, either one of them would have come up to gracie with news of kyleigh’s betrayal. it never would have happened because ( A ) they didn’t give a shit if she swore, and ( B ) kyleigh wouldn’t have done that to her in the first place gracie knew as much, and yet apologizing still felt appropriate for whatever reason. maybe she’d been spending a little too much time with coco and her literally holy father.
❛ wow, cookies? who’ve you been sucking up to? ❜ gracie asked as kyleigh disappeared towards the bathroom, making herself comfortable almost as soon as the door was opened. she could remember a time before kyleigh, when the room they were now in had been her very own play palace, and while she sort of missed those days there was no doubt that kyleigh was more fun than made-up games. kicking off her shoes gracie took a seat on the floor, laying on her back in the starfish position soon after.
as gaze drifted around the room from one boring point to another, gracie had more than enough time to let her mind wonder ; and where it wound up would have been a surprise to absolutely no one. ❛ hey, kye? ❜ she called, hoping to be heard over the sound of running water. ❛ you ever have a guy up here? like a boyfriend, not just a friend. ❜ now that the topic was on her mind gracie realized that she had no idea if kyleigh had ever dated anyone, or at least if she’d been open about it. surely alexandria’s very own gossip girl would have noticed, right? or maybe kyleigh was her blind spot in the same way eric and aaron were ; if she didn’t think about it that meant it wasn’t happening, and if it wasn’t happening gracie could continue on in a happy state of ignorant bliss. ❛ ...kyleigh...answer me. should i be wearing gloves? ❜

Repost, don’t reblog! Tag six muns you would like to get to know better!
Name: I don’t really use it around here, but if you’re ever curious feel free to ask!
Nickname: umm....again, don’t have one around here, I guess?
Faceclaim: None. Tragically.
Pronouns: She/Her
Birthday: mid july
Aesthetics: unfinished drinks. unfinished projects. lists that started out well organized but then got messy. paragraph length texts receiving a single word response.
Favorite muse(s) you’ve written: It’s a toss up between an OC of mine and Eric, but I’ll go with Eric since the oc is tw central.
What inspired you to take on your current muse (that you are posting this on): i quite literally just wanted to write my one and only daughter. gracie has been my obsession since they first panned to her in that stupid crib so obviously this blog was going to happen eventually.
What are your favorite aspects of your current muse: i’m not gonna sit here and lie, gracie is like 8/9 years old in canon and has had a solid 3 minutes worth of screen time. what i love about her really comes down to the fact that she’s adorable and seems like a smart cookie. in MY canon, i’d say i love that she’s as normal as a kid can be given the world she’s growing up in. she isn’t a skilled fighter, she isn’t overly calculating, she isn’t in a constant state of fear; she’s just a goober who likes boys and hates studying.
What’s your biggest inspiration when it comes to writing: i’m rarely ever inspired by “outside” things like music or quotes or whatever. i’d say that as far as rp is concerned the thing that inspires me is my writing partner(s)
Favorite types of threads: i can enjoy any genre, but my favorite TYPE of thread is the kind where interpersonal relationships move forward, for better or for worse. i like the real life/conversational stuff, is that makes sense?
Biggest struggle in regards to your current muse: finding people to write with.

* @jdyth , “ can you stop breathing in my face ? ”
as far as gracie was aware she hadn’t been biologically b l e s s e d with a sister, and since her appearance in their lives neither of her father’s had happened upon another recently orphaned little girl just waiting to be taken in and smothered with their love ; it was almost certain that the absense of a kindred spirit would have been keenly felt had that space in her life not been filled, but filled it was and just like real sisters, there were times when, despite the love they felt for each other, gracie wanted nothing more than to reach across the table, wrap her hands around judith’s throat, and squeeze until the other stopped struggling.
sisterhood at its finest.
gaze firmly stuck on the book laying before her, the sound of judith’s complaint caused blue eyes to flick upwards if only for a second. they were meant to be studying, but the quiet of the room mixed with the amount of time they’d been stuck there meant that sooner or later one of the girls ( if not both ) would reach a boiling point. ❛ i’m not breathing in your face, JUDE, i’m breathing near your face because we’re NEAR each other if i were to STOP breathing near your face i’d drop to the ground and DIE right here on the spot. ❜
