I just wanted to say how much I admire your ducktales art. I know it's been a while since you've drawn them but I love your sonic content just as much!!

Thanks! It always surprises me how people still manage to find my old Ducktales art even tho it's been almost 5 years since I dropped that fandom lol

Ngl I do sometimes miss drawing ducks (mainly Donald Duck/Three Caballeros because that's what I enjoy the most), but I don't know if I could ever go back to that given the events that transpired before leaving that fandom for good (which of course I will not talk about)

But who knows, maybe one day I will draw them again, only time will tell. For now I hope you keep enjoying the Sonic work I put out (as well as my Great Mouse Detective art as that's my current fixation and I have more of that coming dfghjhgfds)

For my Sonic style specifically, IDW artists Nathalie Fourdraine, Aaron Hammerstrom, Natalie Haines and Evan Stanley are my main inspirations. The way I draw the characters is inspired by how Hammerstrom and Stanley do it, while my coloring is based on Fourdraine and Haines' styles (especially Fourdraine because she's the whole reason I decided to go lineless in the first place)

Considering it's Clarity month and Im still Chaotix Member Tangle crazy, one headcanon I have is that Tangle always commissions the most insane and almost artistically impossible art pieces for Clarity

And she just stares in pure WTF

Does Clarity have a backstory?

Not really. I used to have her be like an actual queen from a random bee colony (because back then people would occasionally call me the Queen Bee) who wanted to do art instead of her royal duties, but dropped it after making her current design and chose to focus solely on the artist side instead.

So no, her current iteration does not have an established (or interesting) backstory, she just exists and does art fghjkjhgfds

It's fine. What we like about your works is something tha looks cute and simple as if it was an official artwork from Sega. Your comics help like it could happened in canon. And your oc does fit in the Sonic universe, a bystander that has her own lives.

When I first made these guys I actually thought about having them in a Sonic Heroes- type team (and you even got the character types right for each one), but as I kept working on each character's story, I figured it wasn't gonna make sense for them to be a team so I scrapped it.

That story sounds really cute tho!! Clarity would definitely love to have her own mystery to solve :D

I'm surprise that despite being infected, she still accept commission from Eggman.

Also, is there a time she mentioned Eggman about the Chaotix? Also vice versa to Clarity mentioning her commissions from Eggman to the Chaotix?

Also, did she to owing some payment to the Chaotix for the first Neo Metal Sonic incident when they were hired? Would be hilarious to see Eggman's expression about paying back the money to them?

I have this comic idea of how Clarity got to work with Eggman that I hope to make someday, but basically she accepted because he paid well, so I guess she just forgot about that whole ordeal when working for him fghjkjhgfds

She never mentioned the Chaotix to Eggman, but the Chaotix did learn about her working for him after the fact, and their reaction was mostly like "WHY DID HE PAY YOU AND NOT US?????" XD

She does!!

-I designed a little painter outfit specifically for a Murder of Sonic art I did back in 2023, but it kinda stuck around as the fit she uses whenever she does painting work for people

You probably haven't heard these names in a while but, Felix and Breeze are adorable and I want to protect them

Oh god people do remember Breeze and Felix. Ngl I do feel bad that I barely do anything with them, but I just don't get the inspiration to do art of them.

I have been doing stuff with Breeze on the side because she is actually a prominent character in one of my AUs, and my friend Ava put Felix as a background character in their Tangle and Whisper New Roads comic, but aside of that they are basically non existent at this point fghjklkjhgf

What was Clarity doing throughout the Sonic timeline? Like the Eclipse Cannon Incident, Black Doom incident, Unleashed, Forces war, Metal Virus, and so on.

For most of these, drawing and watching the world crumble around her fghjkjhgfds

For Metal Virus tho, in a comic I made back in 2023, Dishonor (which you can read here) I put her in the background of the first page as one of the people who got infected in Restoration HQ. So yeah she died there fghjkjhgfds
