Roasted Carrot Stew
A delicious savoury roasted carrot stew with earthy vegetables and aromatic fresh herbs. Perfect for a cold rainy day, this vegetarian soup recipe is inspired by the carrot stew from Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Breath of the Wild.
Roasted Carrot Stew
This delicious carrot stew recipe makes 5-6 servings and takes about 90 minutes to make.
To reduce the recipe time to one hour, skip roasting the carrots and potatoes – just simmer them for 15-20 extra minutes during step seven. Enjoy!
Ingredients
¼ cup oil
1 – 1 ½ cups onion, diced
4 cups carrots, chopped
4 cups potatoes, diced
2 tbsp butter
1 – 2 tbsp flour
1 ½ cups coconut milk...

Edible Cookie Dough for One
Tumblr media
Hello folks, I’m back with another recipe for @homesteadchronicles QuaranTEAM!! This time - edible cookie dough for one!! In all honesty, this technically isn’t my recipe though. See, I have an issue with a lot of the normal edible cookie dough recipes on Pinterest, because they never taste the same as my usual cookie dough recipe. So I took my normal recipe, the standard Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookies recipe that you can find on the back of all their chocolate chip bags, and scaled it down. And of course, modified it to make it edible. And after all that math (gross math… the things I do for cookie dough…) I got this!!! A single portion of cookie dough thats safe to eat and tastes just like the normal stuff!!! So here we go!!
Recipe: Edible Cookie Dough for One
Time: Three minutes (plus five if microwaving flour, you’ll see)  || Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients
4 tbsp flour
1 tbsp granulated sugar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp milk
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp vanilla
Chocolate chips
Method
Melt the butter in the microwave
In a microwave safe bowl, nuke the flour on high for five minutes. **Technically this can be skipped, but raw flour can contain E-coli. Doing this eliminates the risk, so if you want to be safe, or are preparing this for kids, don’t skip this. If you feel like living on the edge, ignore it.
While the flour is microwaving, mix all other ingredients in with the melted butter. Add flour last.
Add chocolate chips. You will note no amount is listed, because I am firm believer that the amount of chocolate is up to you.You feel that shit in your heart.
And that’s it!! Enjoy!!

Chocolate Brownies
Aka a recipe my family and I have been using from the offical “Hershey’s Recipe Book”
Ingredients
1 Cup of sugar
1/2 Cup of Flour
1/3 Cup of Hershey’s Cocoa Powder
1/4 teaspoon of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of melted butter or oil
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract (optional)
Hershey’s chocolate syrup (my special “secret” ingredient)
Preparations/Instructions below
Y’all get ready- this is so easy
Preheat oven to 350F
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
Add and mix all the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients
Once all mixed, add the secret ingredient
The texture should be pretty thick initially, but add just enough Hershey syrup that it’s more creamy and soft but Yknow.. still thick like batter
I typically measure it out by just putting a thin layer of the syrup over the batter then mix it in
The more you add, the more fudge-y it’ll be
Grease your baking pan with your preference! I use coconut cooking spray
Put in the oven for about 30-35 minutes
Enjoy!
Bakers notes: Im not sure how accurate the baking time amount is or if it’s good cause I usually just wait until I can smell the brownies, and test it using a toothpick. If it comes out clean, I take it out.

Fudgy Brownie - gluten free
Silky smooth. Sinful. Rich.
Melt in double broiler, microwave or similar. I went for a non stick pan and lowest setting induction heat. It will be kind of grimy and coarse at this point.
Melt slowly: 150 gr butter 3dl sugar (probably nicer with half/half brown) 2dl cocoa powder 1/4 tsp salt
Take of the heat.
Add and stir, one at a time: 2 large cold eggs
Add and stir until smooth and shiny: 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 dl gluten free flour
Add: 2dl chopped walnuts or pecans, optional
Bake at 170C for around 20 minutes, or until only slightly jiggly. Serve cold or at least room temp.

Moist Chocolate Mug Cake
The perfect recipe for when you can’t quite be bothered to bake a whole cake but still fancy something sweet and cake-like. This is my favourite snack at the moment and it very customisable to your liking!
I recommend a mug that is quite shallow for an evenly cooked cake!
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons Flour (Plain or Self-Raising) - Gluten Free works too!
1 Tablespoon Sugar
1 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
½ teaspoon Baking Powder (I just kinda of throw a bit in and hope for the best)
1 Tablespoon Oil
3 Tablespoons Milk - Could be any kind!
1 Tablespoon Chocolate Spread (Optional)
A Handfull of Chocolate Chips (Optional)
Method:
Add the Flour, Sugar, Cocoa Powder and Baking Powder to your mug and mix togather, making sure to get the sides as the flour usually clumps up around there
Add in your Oil and Milk and give it a proper good mix! Once again, get the spoon or whisk you are using right into the sides and edges to make sure the flour isn’t clumped up. I stir for about 2 mins using a teaspoon.
Then, once its like cake batter, add a spoon full of Nutella in and don’t stir. let it sink it and go the centre like a filled donut, trust me, itll be delicious later. You can sprinkle in some broken up chocolate or chocolate chips at this stage, but i usually dont <3
I have a 700W microwave and i put it in for 1 and a half minutes. For 800W, I’d put it in for a minute!
Afterwards i add strawberry desert sauce on mine but think custard or ice cream could be lovely on top, or even whipped cream! Anyways, enjoy this chocolately goodness and expect more recipes soon!

🍌🍞 CeCe's Honey Banana Bread 🍞🍌
Tumblr media
Hiya there, everyone! So this is a little different from my usual post, but I've wanted to share some of my favorite recipes with you all for a while now. I figured since I can't cook for you all in person, I can at least share the recipes I love so you can make them yourselves.
So this first recipe is my honey banana bread recipe that I've been making for about a year now; I hope you all enjoy it, and if any of you make it, please send me pictures so I can see them.
I hope you all stay blessed and safe throughout your day.
Lots of Love & Wishes: Celia 💙
Wet Ingredients:
1 cup of honey
2 to 3 ripe bananas mashed (It depends on how big the bananas are.)
2 eggs
1/3 cup of vegetable oil
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of milk (You can use whatever type of milk you like, I use whole milk because it makes the bread fluffier in my opinion.)
Dry Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
1 tsp of ground cinnamon
Tumblr media
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease and lightly flour a 9 x 5-inch pan.
In a cereal bowl mash up your bananas until it's almost a pudding constancy, then add in your milk and whisk until combined.
In a medium-sized bowl mix together your flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon.
Then in a large bowl whisks together your honey and oil, before adding in your eggs.
When all three are mixed together add your banana milk mixture until everything is blended together.
Once all your wet ingredients have been combined continue to stir while slowly adding all of your dry ingredients.
After that continue stirring everything together until all of the dry ingredients are mixed in with the wet.
When that's done pour into your pan and sprinkle more cinnamon on top for a little more flavor.
Then put it inside the oven and bake for 55 minutes to 1 hour.
Tumblr media
And there you have it honey banana bread!
Small Flavor Tip: You can add other things like chocolate chips, dried fruits, and nuts to have it fit your taste a little bit more. I don't really like those with banana bread so I'll usually spread honey or apple butter on a slice.
I hope you all enjoy it!

After talking with one of my friends, Z W, I was inspired to share with my fellow Homemakers one of my favorite moody monday killer recipes.
Good afternoon to my fellow Homemakers,
Everyone has heard of the famous brownie in a mug recipe but the recipe normally only makes a small serving for one individual. Well with a family full of sweet tooths, I decided to make my own version that made enough servings to be shared amongst my family. We call it brownie bowl! Brownie bowl is 4 servings of the brownie in a mug and still easy to make.
Ingredients:
5 tbsp. Flour
5 tbsp. Sugar
2 tbsp. Cocoa powder
2 tbsp. Water
2 tbsp. Veg. oil
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
Mixing instructions:
In a small bowl, combine all the dry ingredients in order. Next, add all the wet ingredients in order to your dry mix. With a spoon, mix all the ingredients together. Place bowl into microwave for 1 minute. For more of a cakey texture, add another 30 seconds. Top off with mini marshmallows immediately after taking out of microwave and watch as the marshmallows become gooey. Share with your family with plenty of spoons and enjoy!
Please let me know if you wanna try it but have any questions!
Love, Homemaker Mama 💐

Homemade Mac n Cheese in three easy steps:
It’s super simple. You only need 3 things.
1.) Approximately 2 cups of macaroni noodles of your choosing
2.) 8oz of tomato juice/vegetable juice (I use the canned V8)
3.) appx 2 cups of shredded cheese of your choice. Me recommendation is sharp white cheddar (this can be adjusted to your preference)
-Boil water and cook the noodles according to the directions on the package.
-Once the noodles are done and have been strained, add the v8 and the cheese and stir until the cheese is totally melted
And that’s it! You’re done! Takes about 15 minutes in total and feeds 4-6 people. Additional toppings that can be added for flavor include garlic salt, lemon pepper, pepperonis, crumbled bacon, and bread crumbs. Butter or olive oil can be mixed in with the noodles if you like.
Like this it’ll be somewhat soupy (that’s how I prefer it). You can make it soupier by adding more tomato juice and more solid by mixing in extra cheese.
Excellent for people who don’t have energy for baked homemade Mac n Cheese but don’t like the boxed stuff like Kraft!
